Parking can feel a little busy/tight, but not unmanageable. Was encouraged by a friend to go closer to when they open or close and I haven't missed since. read more

Busy but not crazy busy. They had a good variety of staples we shop for like the EVOO with the special pour spout etc. Friendly staff and checkout workers. I love how every state has their own set of reusable shopping bags with a theme relating to that state. We brought our own reusable bags from home but love how forward thinking TJs has always been about that stuff. read more

Josh didn't say a word, dunked my groceries in the bag like Shaq in the 90s... People used to be much more pleasant at this store. They used to wave you over to the register if they were open, now if three are open you just shake the dice and hope it works out, inevitably whoever you choose is angry it was them. read more

While the parking and access are a bit odd, this store is quite fantastic! Going in the morning makes it a breeze as they aren't very busy. The store is clean, laid out well, and they have a great selection at awesome prices. I've been in here a few times for my grocery needs and I always forget how affordable it is! The staff are also incredibly friendly. On one of our visits, my daughter accidentally dropped her stuffed animal and it was a bit before I noticed it was gone. Once I realized it, we went over to the front to see if anyone had turned him in - as soon as I got to the counter, a sweet lady was holding the stuffed animal and "petting" him and giving it lots of care. She was all too happy to give him back to where he belonged. The staff are also great about giving out stickers to the kids when checking out, which always makes it a little more pleasant. read more

I've been frequenting this Trader Joe's since it opened in 2014. It's the perfect place to get surprisingly cheap fresh veggies, surprisingly cheap goat cheese, bundles of fresh (and yes, surprisingly cheap) flowers, and the specialty branded foods that are only available at the store. The last two times I've been there, I've been happy with all the offerings, per usual, but even more happily surprised by the great service! As I walked out with my monthly bouquet of flowers, bag of fresh snap peas, and roll of herbed goat cheese, the lovely young lady at the register commented on my flowers and we ended up having a nice chat about poisonous plants and animals (we were fostering a dog at the time and somehow that came up), and let us know that lilies aren't friends of cats - per her recent experience that ended up with a hefty vet bill. The most recent time, we were purchasing (you guessed it) a bouquet of flowers for an early Mother's Day gift, as well as reusable bags since plastic bags are no longer available in Fort Collins (yay!), and the woman helping us was extremely charismatic, hilarious and friendly. She commended us on our purchase of their reusable Pickle bags and asked if we'd like "a bag for our bags". We all laughed far too much, but she absolutely made our day with her wonderful personality. I love going to Trader Joe's for all of their amazing products, and now even more for the kind, hilarious and friendly service I get there. The majority of the people I've interacted with truly seem like they enjoy being there and make it an even more enjoyable place for us regulars. read more

TJ's use to be dangerous for me as I'd intend to go in thinking "oh I can get so many healthy things !" And I would come out with chocolate bars , peanut butter cups, cookie dunkers, taquitos , pizzas, baked goods. Oh man it was a cycle. Then recently I just said to myself that stuff is just a treat . And the treats they have are just so delicious! They are good quality and very unique. This particular store in Fort Collins is always nice to shop at because the employees are so nice , the carts are constantly cleaned, they have social distance protocols , and it makes for an overall relaxing and focused shopping experience. It's Trader Joe's! I like going here to get a few choice items such as their sparkling waters, veggie goyoza, frozen hash browns, muesli, and their dried chili mango slices. Typically, while I'm at it, I'll grab other things as well such as produce or staple items. Canned beans and veg, nut butters, apple sauce, hemp hearts, oatmeal, non-dairy milks, breads, and pasta are fairly priced. They also sell freeze dried fruits and a variety of different trail mixes and nuts which is great for camping/backpacking season! Trader Joe's is not a one stop shop so I typically go once or twice a month. Their produce can be hit or miss. They're still only letting a few people in the store at a time so there can be a line, but last time I was there it was all the way to the patio store and it only took 8 minutes to get inside. Honestly, I'll miss this covid restriction because I'd rather stand in a line and shop in a less crowded store than stand in no line and shop when it's crowded, but that's just me! read more

Up until today, Trader Joe's has always had super friendly cashiers. I don't know if he was just having a bad day or what, but I have never encountered a ruder cashier anywhere than the one I had today at TJ. After he mumbled a half-hearted greeting I handed him my own bag. He proceeded to literally throw it down the end of the lane. I planned on buying one of their bags anyway, so I brought that over to him. He scanned all my items and didn't make a move to bag anything. I stood there thinking I was supposed to bag my own groceries. Then he suddenly grabbed the bag I bought and literally threw my items in the bag. Meanwhile, the bag I brought was empty. Again, he mumbled something as I was leaving. It was such a weird encounter. Don't feel like going back after being treated so poorly. read more

I had never been to Trader Joe's until a week ago and I love it so much. Every single employee I spoke to, whether it was a cashier or someone I asked for help, was so kind to me. I can tell they really value good customer service here. It's also so cute! The price tags are written in bright colors and it doesn't feel dead in there. I got a little bag for my groceries there that has pickles on it. Their frozen section is also super nice, because even though it's a small store, it has things I wouldn't be able to find at other larger grocery stores, like frozen soup dumplings and a decently sized vegetarian section. I am OBSESSED! I thought this place was so expensive but after giving it a shot, I saved so much money vs going to the "regular" grocery store. The employees are so knowledgeable of their products and are great work conversation! I have tried so many products and had such a pleasant experience. Customer service staff is super helpful and will offer refunds for any issue - you don't like the item, it went bad before the expiration date, etc. They are great at managing foot traffic and adding additional open lines as needed. read more

When I got out of my car to enter the store I was shouted at from the door that they were closed.. when I asked why.. it was shouted (not nicely either)that associates live over an hour away it was not her decision and it was above her pay grade. not exactly the most professional way to go about telling your customers youre closed. Due to the weather.. in which there is no snow on the ground.. I drove a half an hour to get there... I loved visiting this Trader Joe's! It's so big and bright (compared to mine at home). They had a top notch selection of items. We were able to get most of what we needed off our Thanksgiving shopping list here vs. the supermarket. That definitely saved us a few bucks and we left with some quality products too. Their cheese selection is my favorite and I almost always leave with the goat cheese brie and the unexpected cheddar. We had a tough time finding a few things, but the staff were super helpful leading us to the products we were looking for. A new favorite to try are the sweet potato fries! read more

I love this Trader Joe's. I shop here all the time. I'm frustrated however because for the second time I had to leave with out my groceries because their Apple Pay does not work. I use Apple Pay literally every day of my life, to the point where I don't always grab my wallet before leaving the house. I had issues the first time I tried to use Apple Pay and my friend had to spot me. This time around I went up to the front, before I got my groceries, double checked if their Apple Pay was working. I was assured that it was, spent time gathering my items and once again, it did not work. I did not have a friend with me so I had to leave empty handed. I am very frustrated with this. I appreciate that Trader Joe's is limiting the number of people in the store and diligently enforcing the mask mandate. It's one of the few places I feel comfortable shopping. I hope you will forgive my infidelity -- while you were so far away I have dabbled with that other specialty grocery store, the arrogant Texan bent upon taking my whole paycheck, but I promise to be true to you now that you have taken up residence in FoCo. So if you're wondering what the big deal with Trader Joe's is, well, I would say it is all about their house brands. You can get great products at ridiculously low prices. I ventured over during the opening weekend madness to stock up on things like their lemon pepper paparadelle, sea salt caramels, peanut butter pretzels, and yes, a jar of cookie butter. Their frozen food section (and now my freezer) is stocked with a wonderful variety of prepared foods ... I am especially happy about the Indian and Asian selections. They have beautiful fresh produce, an impressive cheese selection, a lovely variety of seafood, high quality meats, amazing dips and salsas and spreads, an extensive selection of grab-n-go meals, gorgeous fresh flowers ... and I'm sure the list goes on (the store was a bit too crowded for a complete look-see), and everything at a fraction of the price you'd pay elsewhere. Why is it that every time I come here simply for a free coffee sample, I leave with $150 worth of groceries? TJ's is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's almost as far as you can get from a local business and they don't even really source any of their food locally, but most of their products are novel and delicious. My wife once comapared prices of 20 staple items from several grocery stores (TJ's, Whole Paycheck, Safeway, and King Sooper's) and found that TJ's was actually the least expensive. Many things they sell, a tiny $4 bag of croutons for instance, are somewhat expensive, but overall food is pretty affordable. If I have beef with any of their products, it's that most fruits and veggies, especially organic, are packaged and sold in bulk. Not only is this inconvenient if you only want one or two tomatoes, but as soon as just one thing in the package gets moldy, they dispose of the entire thing. If you ever get a chance, you should watch the documentary "Dive!" read more
