Very convenient, large grocery store. The parking lot is easy to navigate and I never struggle to get a spot close by. They always have roasted peppers up front that smell incredible. They have a great selection of food and I'm always able to find what I need at a great price. The store is kept clean and well stocked. Staff have all been extremely friendly and helpful. read more

This store is one of the larger stores in Fort Collins. The produce and meat and sea food staff are always really helpful or have been for me anytime i have had questions that have come up either personal shopping or doing instacart shopping. The meat guys i have encountered have always gone above and beyond to help me find stuff and looking in back if what I am needing to find is not out on the shelf. Just to make sure if they have it or not. The store is usually clean and generally well stocked. Of course with covid some things have holes but in general they do a good job of keeping up with things. Their in house king soopers shoppers now sometimes get in the way.... hence the 4 stars. their big carts block the aisles and they dont always get them pulled over to the side enough for people to pass. The clerks are generally friendly and usually there is enough working to handle the flow of customers. its been pretty rare to get stuck in a long line like at the south college location. read more

to start my review, it is thanksgiving. they had roughly 5 minutes until close and I just needed a single gravy packet. There were 3 people outside the store blocking the doors making it so people couldn't get in, but the doors were still wide open. i get it. it's Thanksgiving and you want to go home. i also worked all day today. and because i worked all day, i couldn't get the gravy until my shift ended. it would've taken less than 3 minute. do better. read more

Last week I went to this king Soopers. I bought cat litter for my cats along with paper towels and some food. When I simply was trying to go through self check out the clerk tried to scan the cat food for me and made me feel unwelcome. I told him thanks, but no thanks. I also got a look from a store manager who was present I assume. I don't stick out and look like an average Joe I've always thought. They acted like they suspected I would attempt to steal the cat litter. It was an off putting experience. I've shopped this king Soopers and others for over 20 years now. read more

I HATE King Soopers' coupon systems. In late 2022, they mailed some paper coupons to me. I tried to scan them in the store, but the scanner wouldn't accept them. On the same trip, there was a sign with a QR code for some items. So I scanned the QR codes with my phone, but the store's scanner didn't recognize them at checkout. On another trip, this time to the King Soopers at Drake and Timberline, I saw a sign indicating that there was a digital coupon for a particular item. I asked the clerk how to access it. She said I do it through the King Soopers app. I have the app on my phone, but didn't have time to scroll through coupons in the store. My question for that is why wasn't that coupon included in the emails that I get from King Soopers? I would have clicked that coupon if it had been in the email. In short, King Soopers' inconsistency with coupons is beyond annoying. read more

Is it possible to give negative stars? I was there last week. Before arriving I had called the pharmacy asking if they had the motion sickness patches. The generic had been recalled so it was the name brand. I was told they had them so headed out to pick it up. I told the pharmacy and they told me they did not have them. I explained that I had talked to someone on the phone and they told me that they had them. The person said I had talked to a pharmacist. Well a pharmacists is a precise job and if they did not even realize they did not have them, how can I trust them with a prescription. Strike one. I went to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager. Expaining that I was very upset, wanted to voice my concern. The head clerk, a short brunette said in a condescending manner over the phone to the manager that I was very upset. Strike two. I asked at 4:35pm and at 4:50pm, the manager still had not come down and the bakery manager was there and I told him my concerns. The store manager cannot even come down or call down and explain their delay and then never even show up. Incompetent leadership which explains some of the reviews of this store. Strike three. I will not longer shop or encourage anyone to shop at this store. Will use this example in my presentations as a failure of leadership, from the pharmacist to the head clerk to the store manager. read more

The pharmacy has the rudest staff I have ever encountered. They have made literally countless mistakes with my prescriptions and have never apologized for the Inconveniences. They treat me like I'm the inconvenience. No one cracks a smile and the interactions are very unpleasant. I have finally had enough and today I am transferring all my prescriptions to Walgreens. read more

Hands down the rudest staff at any grocery chain their stalkers are rude, block all the isles and will not move their garbage even when customers are sitting there waiting. Carts left sideways in isle watched 3 stalkers squeeze past and not a single one thought to move it. I gave up even trying and will finish my shopping at a different store. After shopping at Kroger brand stores for more than 15 years I will not bother again. read more

This is a very nice King Soopers. I like the set up. But be aware, be sure to know where the items you want are located. I asked several clerks as to where the natural sodas are and was directed to the regular soda. I was looking for the soda Dry and was told that it was at this King Soopers. I was convinced I was being led to the wrong section because I didn't even see large gaps on the shelves or see shelf labels as to where this drink may be. After getting false leads and wandering through the store I eventually threw my hands up in the air and left. I really enjoy King Soopers new layout. It's been a couple months of reconstruction, but it was completely worth it. the produce section is beautiful. I love the new little sushi kiosk. The staff there is always helpful and friendly. II honestly go there everyday for food for dinner. I'm not one of those who buy food for the week, I'm a so like the fresh produce and fresh food that day. And they always deliver deliver. A++++ great customer service. Great atmosphere. I don't know what it is about this location, but have gone several times now, and I realize once I get home that my produce already has moldy pieces in it, once I am able to open the strawberries/bell peppers/raspberries/blackberries at home. This is very frustrating because it is a waste of my money and time as I can not able to make it back very easily. I just have to throw it all out so my family and I don't get sick. read more

I've shopping here for years now. I always had a pleasant time everytime I go in there. Most of the staff are helpful and friendly. Today I had a different experience. It was my first time going inside the store at 5am. That is when they open. They have this new meal bar in there. The scan code wasn't scanning right. I asked for help. A lady with a long black hair (which might have been the Manager) came over. She said "scan the bar code!!" She didn't yell but it was an angry and rude type of tone. She was very short fused and irritable the whole time I was checking out. She continued to speak to me that way until I left the store. I probably won't go back to that store. Store keeps getting worse. Never seem to have their store brand 1% organic milk in the shelf. Apparently can't figure out how to order and stock properly. Meat counter employee rude when you ask to see if there was more organic chicken breasts in the back. Guess what there were but of course the shelf is sitting empty. The entire frozen fish case is completely empty and none to be found anywhere in the store so now you have to drive across town to get your other items that the store doesn't have available. read more

I'm in shock by the way I was talked to on the phone. I work in a retirement center at the moment and I've been in customer service for 8 years. I called this location because one of my residents says she cant find her bag from when she went to king soopers. I know the possibilities of the store still having her bag 2 hours later is slim to none but I STILL need to call and give effort for my resident. I called customer service and a young man answered. He was very nice and I could tell he was a bit confused when he asked me what the items in the bag were. I told him all she remembers is NOXZEMA but she purchased other items as well. He said ok, does she have her receipt? My resident says she left it in her bag. He said he would check but if she remembers what lane she purchased her items.... and my resident said no. He was very polite and told me he would try his best to check the registers. I thanked him and waited..... A lady answered and right off the bat she was incredibly rude. She says Do you know what was in the bag? Unfortunately we cant find a bag with things in them if you don't know what you purchased!! I can't read minds. I again explained the situation very calmly and nice because AGAIN I'm in customer service. I explained I was calling from a retirement home and my resident is 80-90 years old. All she remembers is Noxzema in the bag but thank you for looking. She again says .... Yeah, We aren't mind readers, its possible that she left it on a cart and someone took it. I asked for her name and she said it was Ashley. I called at 4:00 on Sunday 5/31/15 NEVER have I ever been talked to like that? Telling me that she wasn't a mind reader was very disrespectful and I hope she doesn't actually tell everyone she talks to on the phone about a lost bag like that. One star is for the gentleman who was very professional and nice over the phone even though he was confused at what to do. At least he knows how to talk to customers!!!! read more

Terrific selection, prices seem to be OK. But trying to shop here is like pulling honey out of a beehive. BUSY! Maybe if I do my shopping at 0 Dark Thirty I can get through and get my stuff without too much hassle, but I wouldn't go near this place 3:00-8:00pm. read more

I wrote a review for this location back in January of 2017, and I can honestly say that nothing has changed. Please scroll down to see my concern but in a nutshell, on the weekends (when it's most busy), this place never has enough baggers to bag your groceries. The last two weekends in a row now I've gone and there has literally been ZERO baggers on any of the checkout lanes. I did notice that they're advertising lower prices. I suspect it's because they've reduced the bagging payroll to zero. read more

Always a pleasure shopping there. I shopped a lot at this store while I lived in Ft. Collins. I shopped last night while on a road trip. They have a nice selection and their Colorado Proud milk trumps out most milk I have tasted besides Stornetta's in California. One star because I can't give zero stars. We came here to fill a pain medication prescription after getting a wisdom tooth pulled. The initial wait time the pharmacy gave us was shocking: an hour and a half. After waiting the full wait, the prescription still hadn't been filled. It turned into an additional hour wait. We are still waiting. I will never come to this pharmacy again. They give terrible customer service, and the pharmacists were unprofessional and were making jokes in the background not filling prescriptions. read more

Seems like this place is always busy. The store supports local farmers which is nice. Staff has always been cordial. However, the single most frustrating thing about this place is that in spite of it always being busy, it never seems like they have enough baggers. My wife and I bagged our own groceries the first few times thinking maybe staff had called in but it quickly became apparent that this location simply just never has enough baggers on staff. You look around and see people bagging their own groceries all the time and I quickly came to a realization that this only enables the company to continue to think this is ok. I don't think any grocery store's expectation should be that their customers should have to bag their own groceries, unless they are checking out in the self checkout lane. I also don't think that it's fair to expect the scanners to have to pull double duty with scanning then turn around and bag all the groceries when there is a line. Cordial staff and supporting your local farmers is a plus, and if you don't mind having to deal with lots of other customers and having to choose to bag your own groceries to keep the line moving or hope that there will be a bagger that will be available then this may just be the place for you. For me, I've experienced better. read more

I will start by saying I am a very busy mom with two toddlers and live very close to this King soopers and will no longer be shopping here for 2 BIG reasons.Starting with one I have shopped at this king Soopers for over three years with sometimes spending an hour on a shopping trip walking around their store with two toddlers which is rough enough, then to get to the check outs with sometimes very long lines only to wait then to finally start checking out and to find I am too (#2) bag my own groceries!!!!! All while still trying to watch my kids make sure my prices are correct and to be rudely asked multiple times to put in my customer number. I find this extremely rude and not very good customer service! I will Not Be back for long shopping trips. read more

Always a frustrating experience at this store. Tonight the store was mysteriously closing at 10 pm. My husband was ushered from the store and forbidden to finish his shopping because the store was closing for a "holiday". It's August 3 - not sure what holiday that is. I always get great service when I go to this location and do all my grocery shopping there because of it. One employee in particular is amazing and that would be Tim in the fresh meat department. He has the best costumer service and is extremely helpful. Every time I see him he has a huge smile on his face and willing to help in any way he can. Even helped me pick out some cheese one time when I know that's not really his dept. I've asked him for advice about slow cookers, different recipes, and he's also been willing to share a few of his own. My boyfriend and I are always so glad to see him there when we go cause we know anything we need help with he's happy to assist. The store is always clean and well stocked too! read more

We placed an order for a cake, 4 days in advance for our 5yr old's birth day at the Harmony road Fort Collins, CO Kingsoopers. On the day of the brithday we went to to pick it up. We were handed a completely white(no decorations/color frosting etc) cake with the writing - Happy Birthday xxxx. We had selected the frozen theme. They explained that our order form didn't had any design number. So we figured the sales lady forgot to fill the form correctly. What is amazing is that the baker also assumed someone would simply order an birthday cake for a kid without any decorations at all and didn't bother calling us on the phone number clearly mentioned on the form. Every one makes a mistake, but the don't care attitude of the baker is astounding. Why would anyone place an order for a plain cake in advance! what sane person would order a plain(0 decoration) cake for a 5yr old's birthday! The audacity of even considering delivering a plain cake is astounding. read more
