it's the pharmacy not the store. they had my inhaler but said it wasn't ready. Waited all day called 15 minutes before 8. No one would pick up. I drove two miles and got there as they picked up the phone. They said they would have to process it and have it in the morning. I said I'm here now. She said ok I'll get it. After having to switch health insurance and realizing my current pharmacy at King Soopers did not accept my new health insurance, I was calling around in search of a new pharmacy. Walgreens is just down the street from me on Drake so I decided to call and see if they accepted the new insurance and how I might go about switching my prescriptions over to them. It was around 10am on a Tuesday when I called, so the pharmacy was definitely open. 20 frickin minutes later I was still listening to hold music. It kept sounding like someone picked up and then immediately placed me back on hold. I eventually gave up- and you know what, I'm GLAD they didn't pick up. I could only imagine what getting my meds would be like if it takes someone more than 20 minutes to even say hello. I never even got a greeting or "we'll be with you soon" or "sorry for the unexpected wait time"... just nothing... hanging out on hold. Bad, bad, bad first impression Walgreens. read more

Do not go to the Walgreens Pharmacy at 2190 West Drake Road in Fort Collins. These people are absolutely incompetent they lose prescriptions they close early with no notice and in fact the whole store was closed yesterday. They have a critical medication that is needed that no one else has and because they're closed I cannot get it. The manager tried to call the pharmacist and only got the idiot's voicemail and he never responded. I will be filing a complaint with the Colorado state board of Pharmacy read more

If I could give a ZERO, I would. I concur with others -- the pharmacy provides the absolute worst services. I've been waiting over two weeks for RX to be filled -- if I call in and get the automated response it says "it is in progress." When I speak with a pharmacist or tech, they tell they will have it ready later that day. Today after getting fed up "later today", I escalated my call and found that the medicine is not in stock and they have no idea when it is coming in. More than two weeks, and no one can tell when my RX will be ready. Thank goodness it is not life threatening!!!! read more

This review is strictly for the pharmacy. The store seems fine. I have Kaiser, so my 2 choices are driving 10 miles to a Kaiser pharmacy, or using this pharmacy, which is less than a mile from my home. From here on out, I'm driving across town. They lose prescriptions, they promise prescriptions will be ready (and they are not), they are consistently understaffed, they charge me full price for medications I know my insurance covers . . . and if you ask for help, you will hear crickets. When I used the King Soopers pharmacy at Taft Hill and Elizabeth, I had none of these problems. Unfortunately, Kaiser chooses to do business with Walgreens, so essentially I'm stuck. It's really making me reconsider whether I want to continue on with Kaiser. read more

I have never written a bad review in my life but this pharmacy is a complete joke. I've taken the same medications for years and never had a problem filling until i started filling at this Walgreens and they come up with a new problem every month. It's such a joke at this point every month i ask myself what they're going to come up with next. Every time they've come up with something, i've taken my prescription back, brought it to king soopers or safeway or CVS and they've all been filled immediately that day while i'm standing there. Not to mention the rate at which they move. My prescriptions usually take the ENTIRE day to be ready for pick up when they tell me it'll be an hour, they're always "behind today" I tried dropping my prescription off the night before one month because i needed it in the morning and my prescription was not ready to pick up until the following day at 5 PM. How does it take 10-15 hours to fill a damn prescription every month???? It's absolutely ridiculous and if they're really always "that behind" they really should get on hiring some more people because you're dealing with prescriptions people need on a daily basis. I'm not sure what's up the other reviews - I've never used the pharmacy, so maybe that's the problem. That said, I've never had less than bend over backwards service at this location. There is always plenty of staff and the managers have, multiple times, gone out of their way to help me find things, get my coupons to work, and generally given awesome customer service. If it were possible to leave ZERO stars, I would. They apparently hire teeny boppers just out of diapers to staff their pharmacy counter. And while they are not technicians, they are still tasked to handle sensitive information. I had to give my social security number for them to look up my account and teeny bopper OILIVIA had me write it down on a piece of paper. I told her to shred the paper once complete and she left it sitting on the counter in view of God and everybody. The women that work there are horrible with customer service. Wow. They were 2 bottle redheads. They completely ignore you. I just needed some help with a price and I felt like I asked them to give me one of their limbs. I had to ask three times. Then the eye roll. I had one more question and one of them just walked away but they sure had a lot to gossip about. Guess that's more important than their job. From now on I will be using CVS or Safeway. read more

Without warning, this store decided to start closing at 6, which leaves me without the prescriptions I need to prepare for an upcoming surgery. We came back into town at 6:05, and couldn't access the counter. I'm done with Walgreens. The closest 24- hour pharmacy is now an hour away, and this pharmacy was always disorganized and slow and difficult to work with anyhow. The only time you'll get out of here in a decent time frame is if you are the only customer for pharmacy at 2am. My dentist called in a prescription. The receptionist at the dentist told me that it would be about an hour and if Walgreens said they didn't have it to check their computer again. I went to Walgreens, they said they didn't have it. I told them to check their system again and she said we did, call your dentist. Once it was straightened out that yes they had my prescription, they told me it would be a 35 minute wait and they didn't take my insurance. So I waited and paid cash so I could get out of there. If at all possible I will never set foot in this place again. read more

Terrible customer service at the pharmacy. Went in two separate times for immunizations, the first time the "immunization system" was "down" and we were told to come back later. For some reason they are not able to do anything on paper and put it in the system later. Called back later the same afternoon and was told it was working, but we should wait until later in the evening to come in when they weren't as busy. Specifically asked if they did vaccinations all night (24 hr location) and let them know when we would be there, was told "absolutely, we'll take care of you". When we get there later that evening we walk up to the counter and the pharmacy employee says "ok great what do you need?", and proceeds to tell Jake the pharmacist that we were there for vaccines. The pharmacist simply says "No, not tonight" and ignores us. He finally comes over to the counter and says "we're too busy to do vaccines, and im the only pharmacist here. We're the only pharmacy open for 40 miles. You should try the clinic in loveland." After trying to explain that we had already been in and their computer was down, and were specifically told they would do them when we got there, Jake again said "Well if you want to wait a couple hours I might be able to do it then"... we were the only people in the store at this time of night. A+ on sending business elsewhere, when my wife and I were about to spend $400 each on vaccines for an upcoming trip. This pharmacy will only stay in business until another 24hr pharmacy opens in town, or when Jake learns that he can stop counting to 30 for 5 minutes and do the only real doctor-like activity he's allowed to do. read more

NEVER get your film developed here. I had a roll of film that was very important to me completely lost. When I went to get it developed, the woman was rude and short with me, and then walked away in the middle of our transaction and never came back. I finished filling out the form and then, after waiting for her to come back for quite a while, had no choice but to just leave it on the counter. Months pass with no phone call or anything, so it slips my mind. I remember today and call them, and after waiting FOREVER for the photo department to pick up, I'm told that there is NO information under my name or phone number. My film is just gone. No apology. No consolation. Thanks, Walgreens. Very, very professional. read more

Worst store ever!!! Tonight I was buying some deodorant and shampoo. And I had manufacturer coupons. The coupons wouldn't scan. So, the cashier, Elan. Who was very nice got a supervisor to help. The supervisor, Steve came up to help He had A bad attitude. He asked me what was going on. I told him the coupons wouldn't scan. The cashier went to help others. Then the supervisor asked rudely if a receipt came out. I told him i was unsure. So, he redid the order. And when the order was done and coupons put in and paid for. Yes, I did put my rewards number in. I was supposed to get a $2 reward for buying the 3 Pantene shampoos. I asked the supervisor about it. And he said he didn't know. Then I told him what the yellow flag pricetag said it. He said he doubted that and said I need to show him where the Pantene was. So, I put everything back in my purse and then went to the aisle and he was already there. So, I showed him where it said it and he said I should of gotten the rewards. So, we go back up front and he wanted to rerun everything again. I refused. This was my debit card he wanted to run for the 3rd time!!! He told me to come back tomorrow so the store manager could see what he could do. I told him no. I asked him to stop being so rude. He said in an almost yelling that he wasn't being rude. I told him that the reward thing needed to get figured out. So, opened the drawer and handed me $2. I left the rest of my cart. I wasn't about to but anything else and take that kind of abuse. A customer stopped me in the parking lot and said Steve the supervisor was being rude. I'm calling corporate in the morning about him and his actions. Only reason it has a 1 star is because they had most of the products I wanted. I suggest never going here unless they have the cure for a deadly disease. read more

Walgreens Pharmacy: NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS!!! They changed my prescription without telling me, when I went to pick it up and have it corrected I was told I would be notified when it was ready. I was never notified, so a week later when I went to go pick it up, they had it already sent back and now I have to wait another day. Ugh! If this Walgreens wasn't just down the street from my house, I would change locations already!! read more

They left a message for my doctor in the morning, but never followed up. Now it end of day Friday and I won't get my medicine til Monday at the soonest. Was told "we processed over 500 prescriptions today" so I guess they didn't have time to get mine figured out. When I called at 3:00, was told to check back later. The nighttime pharmacy department is absolutely awful in terms of customer service. I have been going here for a couple of years because it's so close, but I am changing my prescriptions to a new pharmacy tomorrow. I've had it with the way they treat me.
