This review is for the pharmacy…read more I picked up a prescription yesterday. There's a note in my file about needing a certain generic for this drug because I don't react well to others. I had no reason not to trust that they gave me the right thing but when I got home, I discovered that it was the wrong generic and that this particular generic is one I've had a very bad reaction to (likely it's an additive since generics can vary the additives but not the main ingredients). The pharmacy was closed by the time I got home so I called this morning. I was told they won't take back the unopened package (it comes prepackaged, it's not something they manually count) and I'd have to get a new fill from my provider, which isn't going to happen because I get this medication from an online provider. And I'll have to eat the cost since I pay cash due to my insurance not covering the drug. I also do not have any for my dose tonight. I've been trying literally all day to get them to see reason. I was told by the pharmacy manager that it was on me since I didn't verify that the medication was right. How, exactly, am I supposed to do that when they immediately put it in a paper bag as fast as they can, and won't let you see or handle it, until you pay. I was told since I paid for it they won't do anything about it. The system is rigged to allow them to make mistakes and not fix them. It's disgusting and predatory that they won't do anything to fix it. Go anywhere else for your Rx needs. I'm going to be switching all of my family's medications somewhere else and tell every single person I know to do the same.

** 4.5/5 stars. I…read morelove Esh's Market, it's a very standout grocery store in the area! It's always been a cleanly and visually appealing store to shop at, and I look forward to it every time I go. The main "gimmick" of Esh's is the fact that their food is stuff that would normally have gone to waste--whether it be dented (but still sealed) boxes, or food that's past it's sell-by date but still safe to eat. They meticulously sort through it to stock the shelves at all three locations (Loveland (this one!), Windsor, and Dacono). This is where the 0.5 of a star gets knocked off, it's very hard to tell when certain items may start to go bad, especially those without any signs or expiration dates (though this is easily circumvented by using what you buy quicker). The other downside is it's hard to find products you love on repeat visits, since they get a variety of products from stores all across Northern Colorado there's no telling whether or not one item is here to stay or in limited stock. Despite my small gripes, I love this store to death and it's a great way to get some cheap produce, fancy cheeses, and other items you likely wouldn't have bought normally.

This review is just for King Soopers' pharmacy, focusing on their vaccination program…read more My spouse and I went to King Soopers for routine vaccinations we'd missed when we were younger on Saturday. I'd made an appointment online and we told them what we were there for and they made sure our insurance was in the system. Then we waited outside the treatment room. We were able to go back together, which I asked about since getting vaccines always makes me nervous. The pharmacist was really nice and good at distracting me. I was also assured that my latex allergy was being taken seriously as well. Good at giving the stick, too! I barely felt it. It was over with quickly and we were on our way. We need to do more in the series and I imagine we'll use this location for those as well.

I don't know what year the store was last decorated, but it reminds me of the 90s or early 2000s (at best). The signs literally made me laugh at how old they were, from the department signs to the aisles. The aisles contained things like "WEIGHT CONTROL" and "INCONTINENTS" (spelling) and many spots were missing. All of the fonts and artistic style screamed outdated. The cabinets and walls at customer service and the bakery are also very old. If the old was clean and well kept, that would be different, but throughout the store there was visible floor damage, scratches, and lots of weird large empty spaces on the floor. There was a limited selection of many popular healthy items such as gluten free, vegetarian, vegan which can be found in large quantities in other stores - a miss for those with any food allergies! I was going to pick up some ice cream, but the entirety of the freezer area seemed broken - there was a good half an inch or so of ice covering every item. One set of entry doors seems permanently closed, and the signs appear to be from 2020. The parking lot is in bad shape. The checker was kind, but wow - I'm kind of in shock that the store is allowed to operate under the Safeway brand with this condition.

They have many items I can't find anywhere else or something fun I didn't even know I was looking for. Friendly , helpful staff, knowledgeable people on the sales floor, it's clean, small in just the right way. I really like Haye's Market & wish Loveland had one. They seem to be able to source outside the box - unlike other corp. groceries stores. I hope Berthoud understands just how lucky they are to have a small, local grocery store - Loveland didn't & they lost Crunchy and now all we have is greedy corporate out of state ownership, crappy part-time jobs, & faux health food which got a huge unfair boost from our tax dollars. One day a corporate chain will come knocking at Berthoud's door, promising more jobs & tax revenue..but they will demand tax subsidies 1st- I hope the people of Berthoud know better than we did here in Loveland.
