This is at Loveland, Co, Eagle Dr. King Soopers: I am over 60 years old. One item for purchase was beer. Automatic ID check. The lady at the self check section refused to sell because of the Norwegian drivers license. Eventually she asked my DOB and let me buy. Hmmm. I then asked a manager. He said 'it is a Colo State law'. Well, I looked it up. Here's the relevant excerpt from the relevant statute, mostly concerned with proof of age for purchases: 2025 COLORADO LIQUOR RULES DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE Liquor and Tobacco Enforcement Division 1 CCR 2023-2, Regulation 47-912. Identification. 1. Producing adequate identification of age, including any verified digital identification, that is valid and unexpired. Identification of age is adequate if it contains a picture and date of birth and is one of the following: a. This review is just for King Soopers' pharmacy, focusing on their vaccination program. My spouse and I went to King Soopers for routine vaccinations we'd missed when we were younger on Saturday. I'd made an appointment online and we told them what we were there for and they made sure our insurance was in the system. Then we waited outside the treatment room. We were able to go back together, which I asked about since getting vaccines always makes me nervous. The pharmacist was really nice and good at distracting me. I was also assured that my latex allergy was being taken seriously as well. Good at giving the stick, too! I barely felt it. It was over with quickly and we were on our way. We need to do more in the series and I imagine we'll use this location for those as well. read more

Christina, Ana, & Issaih made my visit, totally splendid. I had an issue where I had misplaced my Snap card, and Christina was super patient & very kind. I went to my car and was able to find it. My groceries were still waiting to be responded and she helped me to remember items I almost forgot about. I mentioned that she should be a manager and she stated she was. Which I was stunned as I found the customer service at other Loveland location less than pleasant . Guess I figured rudeness as customer service was acceptable???? Then, just as I'm looking for my correct pin # in my messages (me & my daughter share snap card) my phone dies. Seaux Christina suggests me inquiring customer service for a charge. Seaux, outta desperation I seek the needed help, and Ana states she could charge my phone to the point needed to fetch my number. Then, Isaiah retrieves my groceries and away I geaux on my merry way. These guys deserve a promotion or a raise imho. They went beyond and above to make this customer profoundly blessed! Seaux thankful for such a heartwarming experience. On a scale from 1-10 I'd give them a 15. Ps, the florist on the other hand has some poorly looking plants over priced. I doubt if they sell at price marked and will have to be thrown away shortly as they have little or no life left. After shopping here since the day they opened, today is the last time. Forget that I was slammed in the backside by one of the personal shoppers and nearly knocked to the floor. He was very apologetic but still WTF. The real problem is that it seems every single time there is an error on the pricing. Today it was $12 on a $30 purchase. The clerk acknowledged it and made an adjustment. This place is too crowded to be restocking and clogging aisles with personal shopper carts. They have lost control. read more

Soopers is not so super anymore and there are other choices. The staff are wonderful and always try to help, but they are overworked with all the extra work management puts on them. Plus, they have to maneuver down the same cluttered aisles we customers do. The food is stocked sometimes in 3 different locations and staff is often unsure of location to find an item. Parking is challenging enough year-round but in spring and summer they eliminate dozens of close in spaces to set up gardening. The atmosphere in the store is always rushed and crowded, what with several cardboard portable displays in every aisle. It's stressful shopping there and now that I've found a store that has eliminated all the nonsense, I'll only use King Soopers as a last resort. read more

This King Soopers is an absolute joke! They sold me tainted fuel back in January the cost me over $2000 in car repairs. I spoke to 4 different managers all promising to call back and follow up. I was completely blown off and ignored by all of them. The worst of which is Chelsey. She was incredibly rude and straight up lied. Completely unacceptable for any level of customer service especially a manager. This store is beyond words... I cannot explain the utter filth I experience at this cease pool. For starters, I have to park on the south side of the parking lot because of the disgusting "smoker's corner" where employee's indulge on cancer sticks during their routine breaks. The area smells like an age old ash tray licked by one hundred desperados snorting nicotine from one another's butts. Once I can shake off the horrendous odors, I hastily complete my bitter shopping experience. Employees mingle with one another and leave their inventory carts parked in the middle of aisles. COMPLETELY RUDE. Do not get me started on the produce department... I'm ashamed to say WAL-MART has fresher jalapenos and green bells than this SO-CALLED grocer! I'm pretty sure the produce workers are all arrogant, unhappy peeps that feel like customers are wasting their valuable, worthless time.... I was purchasing some kale because I want to be healthy (not that I am) and as I was reaching for a plastic bag to claim my greenage, I slipped and fell on a damp, hazardous area that 2 obvious, alert workers failed to clean up! One of them just looked at me with a thousand yard stare and the other worker acted like he was in his own little lala world trying to communicate with extraterrestrial counterparts. This King Soopers used to have the best pharmacy around. I would give it 1 star however there has to be someplace worse on this planet! I do not know what happened but every time I am in this location I wait forever to get my prescription filled. There are always lines. The pharmacy employees never smile. I stopped in to do my grocery shopping on Saturday 9/30 in the evening around 6pm and went through the self checkout as usual. I couldn't help but notice an employee that was running around the entire front end. She was helping and attending to everyone so quickly with so much kindness. I couldn't keep track of how many patrons she helped just in the time I was checking out myself. As I was finishing up and paying she asked a woman for her ID so she could check her out for wine (I'm sure her job by law). The woman was visibly older and began yelling at the employee and being outwardly rude and disrespectful to the employee who had her hands tied on the situation. The employee did an INCREDIBLE job handling the situation with grace and kindness, she handled herself perfectly and was the best example of customer service I have seen in a very long time. So I went without a receipt my gift in hand to what I thought would be a simple and at the very least a cordial exchange amongst consumer and host well if I couldn't have been more wrong. This store is the closest to my home. I have NEVER been to another King Soopers that has so few baggers that 99% of the time we have to bag our own groceries. Not to mention that when we do luck out and get a bagger, they have no clue how to properly bag groceries. Today I was beside myself, we went to check out #19. There was a bagger at #17. Just as we were starting the check out process, #17 was clear of all customers and the bagger stood there doing NOTHING except maybe staring at the young checker on that lane (who wasn't giving him the time of day). At this time, we were the ONLY PEOPLE CHECKING OUT. The management staff does nothing to remedy the situation. This is just today's experience, this is noticed and seen on a regular basis. Something drastic needs to change at this store or they will continue to lose customers. Never have I ever had a more unsatisfactory experience at a Kroger store. It's time to restaff, reorganize, and revamp the quality of service and cleanliness of the store. This review is related specifically to the pharmacy. Dealing with you routinely being out of stock on a medication I fill here each and every month has gotten old. This time it's even worse than usual, with your staff checking on the inventory when I dropped the prescription off two days ago. The med was in stock but I chose to not to wait for it due to your one hour wait time. Now I've arrived to pick up the prescription and you state that it's out of stock. How does this happen? Why wasn't inventory allocated to my prescription at the time I dropped it off? My time is valuable and now I will be spending the rest of my morning running around town trying to full a simple prescription. I've now arrived at Safeway and they say they can fill this prescription in 20 minutes. I seem to have fewer and fewer reasons to go to King Soopers at all anymore. This is the worst KS i have ever had the displeasure of shopping. Every time i have tried to shop there they are out of everything and/ or the self check outs are malfunctioning. When i was there Tuesday night, same thing. Couldn't get half of what i needed because the spots were empty, when i tried to checkout with the few things i could find, the self checkouts wouldn't recognize my empty bags, errored out when i tried to scan, and the person who was assigned to that area to help was to busy trying to hook up with her future baby daddy to be bothered. This is my favorite grocery store in Loveland. They have an excellent selection of fruits and vegetables and I feel like they're expanding their organic offerings. The store is clean and organized. One complaint I have is that the aisles are way too tight... I would not recommend going on the weekend if you're easily agitated. It looks like a couple other yelpsters have commented on the pharmacy. I have to agree. When I need a prescription I dread going to this pharmacy. There are some really grumpy and possibly very overworked staff at the pharmacy... And a couple other staff members who are a pleasure to work with ...it's just the luck of the draw. The store is located in the shopping center that also houses a King Soopers gas station, two pizza places, two good restaurants, a mail center, and a dry cleaner... Very convenient! read more

To start off, I noticed someone was complaining because items move around and they have to "relearn where things are". Apparently, you have never gone shopping before. King Soopers is far from being the only store that moves things around. Stores do this for a number of reasons. The main reason is to give new light to items that have been sitting around for a while. Have you ever walked into a store and saw something for the first time. You may think it's a new item, but most times it is because the store has moved things around. You only think it's new because you didn't see it before, even though it's been there for months. King Soopers is the only grocery store I have seen that has a sushi bar. It's not like other stores like Safeway that has pre-packaged sushi. God only knows where it came from or how old it is. At King Soopers the sushi is made fresh, right before your eyes. The gourmet cheese and olive bar are amazing. I got to talking with one of the ladies that works the cheese area, she was VERY helpful. You don't need to buy a large portion, the "cheese people" will cut the large blocks down to a smaller size for you. It's a great way to expand and try new things. The store is very well organized and clean. I remember the first time I walked into this store, I was in awe. I kept walking through the store saying "wow". I've tried shopping at the Soopers on Lincoln, I had an arm full of stuff, but I couldn't do it. I dropped my stuff and drove to this Soopers. I won't shop anywhere else. read more

They use false advertisement through sales all the time now. It should be investigated as a criminal matter. Consistently being charged full price on sale items and not getting E coupon deals. Thousands of dollars a day are being stolen this way. I personally estimate two or three thousand dollars they over priced me since they opened but its every trip lately. You'll also notice more sales where the price is something like 2 for $4, on sale for 1.99 each. VERY POOR management has obviously been taking place in the last 5 years and should be sold to another chain that doesn't support these tactics. I've been told that the warehouses are not out of toilet paper or food, but yet people are panicking like it Is. it's hard for stores to keep up with panic shoppers that are angry and unreasonable.
