Stopped at the gas station at new midtown location, credit card reader not working, went to the window, told the employee, Saudi could prepay, I said no we want to fill up, he said he could do a refund. I said no, he said try another pump, pulled up and the pump credit card reader worked perfect. I went back and told him he should put a note on the other pump. We finish pumping our gas and the receipts failed so had to go to the window to get a receipt. Sorry we bothered the employee just sitting there, maybe get off the chair and fill the paper and maybe check the other pump. read more

They built a new King Soopers next to this close King Soopers but there's no mention of it so this is for the new King Soopers. It's a nice store but the staff isn't that great in my opinion. Went there this morning at 6:00 a.m. The door is still locked so I had to walk around to the other side just to get in and pull it open myself. Went to pay for something at 5:00 after and there was one register a self checkout that was open. I really think the older lady that's running the show in the morning needs to retire or be replaced and she can go back to doing whatever she's is good at. As I was leaving at 6:06 she was walking out to finally unlock the doors. I asked her what time do you open and she did not answer me so I asked her again. She said 6:00 I said okay. As I looked outside there were a half dozen people waiting to get in to do some shopping. I hope Grandma realizes that most people that come here at this hour to shop are on their way to work and time is of the essence. Maybe you need to get somebody who can hustle in the morning and get the doors open on time and the registers working. She's got to be in her late '70s and could barely walk so maybe give the position to somebody else. read more

Like most KSoopers, this one has all the things you need and many you don't. Also like most KSoopers, this store is outdated, a little dirty and expects customers to do just about everything yourself. Find, carry, check out and bag your stuff while a rather odd employee stares you down without even a thank you for shopping here. Definitely miss the days of interacting with happy grocery store employees who live in the area, enjoy their job and remember your name. If you need groceries, this is what's available, but sadly not the experience it used to be. read more

I entered king soopers to purchase a tracfone to replace one that failed. By mistake I bought a at&t prepaid phone so I need to return it and make an exchange for the tracfone. The counter clerk refused to do anything more. They have an absurd no returns no refunds policy on at&t products they sell. So I lose 60 bucks as I cant use this phone or resolve this issue. this policy is wrong. king soopers is wrong and at&t is wrong. its criminal to make sales by unethical means such as this. read more

8/24/2020 in today shopping for instacart. shelves were a little bare today but they had not gotten their truck in when i was in there doing instacart this morning. The meat guy is always super helpful to locate what you need if you are not sure where it is. Always very thankful for that! The staff again was pleasant and friendly. It is always a pleasure to go in to the store. it is generally less crowded than the others which is also nice as well. read more

Was at the King Soopers by PetSmart and saw a couple of people walk out with a cart full of groceries. I asked the manager if she'd like the license plate and description of the people and she didn't care. I think her name was Jane and she had a pound of makeup on her face. Then I asked around about what the security policy was and if I could just walk out with my 180 dollar order and they were pretty much like yep. Anyway, I guess this is America now. I went to the flower shop for my boyfriend's 21st birthday and Rhoda is the best. She helped my pick flowers set up a vase set up two random balloons I had and one I bought with helium. Fairly we'll organized and stocked, they are great for everyday staples. The fresh food could be better, and the place is dimly lit, but there are bargains to be had, especially if you are a member of their club. Next to Office Max, it's hard to see the King Soopers signage. read more

This store has a large selection, is neat and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The self-checkout registers are annoying however, constantly stopping because of "please place the scanned item in the bagging area" or "please remove the item from the bagging area", followed by "help is on the way". Either just trust the customers to scan all of their items or hire more cashiers. This isn't the store employees but rather a corporate culture issue- force the CEO to use the self-check every day and I bet it would change fast lol. read more

I ordered a birthday cake online for one of my daughters birthday to be celebrated on CSU's homecoming weekend. The online process was simple and I was more then pleased with the artistic writing & decorations on the delicious, fresh tasting chocolate cake. Much credit to the artist, Susan! She was so pleasant, cheery & professional. King Soopers is very lucky to have this wonderful lady working in their bakery. Since our daughter #2 doesn't like cake, I was excited Susan could decorate a pumpkin pie while I waited. I highly recommend the bakery at this store. read more

I come here several times a week. Tonight I was just grabbing a few items. I wish they had more sushi. By the time we get there they are always out. Bummer! This is one of few places I'll but my meat at. The store was pretty clean. Always nice. I do like the employees they are usually helpful. I love how I can digitally download coupons to my ks card! Cause I always forget my coupons. I buy it, scan it, coupon automatically comes off! Love love love it!! Perfect for a super busy mom as myself. The pharmacy is great. Its a King Soopers, It sells groceries. There's nothing really all that special about this one, except its close to my house, which makes it my go-to grocery store. The first time i went here i thought it was odd that this particular branch has the smallest entrance of any King Soopers I've ever seen. The ceiling is also kind of low for a grocery store. The staff tends to be pretty friendly and ready to help i you need anything. They also have self checkouts, which shows you its not in a bad neighborhood. Never noticed any strange smell to this grocery stores. Also strange factoid: on Saturday's it seems like a lot of car clubs meet in the lot. We usually have to stop here for drink mixer most Saturdays and usually see a bunch of fancy shmancy cars. read more

Some of the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. They double charged me for the same purchase. I caught it on my statement and called immediately. The customer service person I talked to was polite and professional. This is what I have come to expect form King Soopers over the many years I have been shopping there. However, he could not fix the issue. Only the account manager can and she was out for the day. He told me called the next day. When I called again she was not in either, so I asked when she would be. It seems like a simple enough question, right? Not so lol. The costemer service person was extremely rude. "Sir I cannot give out that information, it is private." Umm okay when should I call then? She refused to tell me hahaha. What a joke, this lady must really hate her life. I proceeded to call her back every few minutes and hang up for the next several hours while I was at work. I could hear it killing her soul each time she read out the long "thank you for calling your friendly neighborhood King Soopers, how can I help you?" over and over again. King Soopers was always a nice store in general for shopping, but I have to say, when I went into this store a few days ago, and went to the bakery for donuts, and saw that they shrunk the size of all the donuts half of what they used to be, and yet still charging 69 cents per donut, it made me not want to shop there anymore. OMG! To see this store become so greedy that they have to shrink portions on most of their bakery goods (bagels and cakes included) is a slap in the face to every shopper who has faithfully given them business over the years. Cheating their own customers in such a manner is shameful and disrespectful. There is no way I am going to pay 69 cents for a tiny donut that probably costs them 5 cents to make. king soupers is a great store but went to the meat dept for prime rib roast , only 3 left and the bottom of the cooler was covered in blood.could not even pick up a roast to look at it. closest bags were in produce to bag roast. more shoppers were in awe over only 3 left. that being said this was a stand alone refrigerated pod, down to t or he end of the meat counter which held pork and chicken was an end case with 8 or 10 more roasts in it. suggestion would be to put roasts together in a larger counter if needed and put a grate under them to drain the blood off. produce plastic bags near by would be a plus. If only I could give this place zero stars. Night staff closes early, staff not friendly & don't bother asking for help finding something. I watched last night as customer after customer was turned away before the posted closing time! From the looks of it, they lost a good dozen customers just last night! This run down store is the worst! Trader Joe's is better, friendly staff, helpful, great prices, and the most important thing, which is missing from all King Soopers, amazing customer care!!! This is such a great store. My family and I shop here several times a week and the employees and Managers are great. They treat you like family and always greet you with a smile. This is my neighborhood store and that's about the only reason I go there. The store has become rundown and the selection is under par for other stores. Every trip the produce section is out of items ie last trip out of garlic, bananas, jalapeños, parsnips, and non packaged mushrooms. Staff is friendly, but seems as if it is mandated as everyone says/asks same things. Also the rearranging of the isles makes no sense. read more
