Order a custom poster for a gift for Christmas- I ordered this customized gift from Etsy and printed it from Walgreens. It was a custom portrait that was drawn. The guy who helped me at the photo department asked me if I had a "copyright infringement" and it had me taken back... Copy right for what? It's a custom portrait drawing. He withheld it and said he needed to check with another worker. He goes and pulls this other poor lady in from her lunch break, I've worked retail it sucks to be pulled from your one good break. Just for her to tell him there's no Logos on it so they can sell it to me. After waiting for 15 minutes they finally offered to ring me out and give me what I ordered. His attitude was completely unprofessional, his demeanor was off putting and almost rudely sarcastic. Guess I'll drive an extra mile or so to order my prints from a Walgreens with more respectful workers. read more

Walgreens - Taking Advantage of Consumers over a Nationwide Recall of a Dangerous Product On July 17, I visited our local Walgreens store at 4502 South College Avenue in Fort Collins, Colorado. I wanted to return 3 spray cans of Neutrogena Sun Block that had recently been recalled by the manufacturer due to Benzine contamination. Benzene is a known cancer-causing substance. I brought the cans to the clerk who then brought the Manager to the cash register to handle the refund. To my great surprise, the Manager offered to refund the product at only 50% of the purchase price. He claimed that since I did not have the receipt, I could not prove what I had paid for the product. After some discussion, he raised his offer to the "lowest price during the past 30 days". I do not know what I paid for the product, most likely full price. This action by Walgreens is totally unacceptable as well as dishonest. I have little doubt that Walgreens is being fully compensated by the product manufacturer when they in turn return it back to Neutrogena. To profit from refunding a recalled cancer-causing product at 50 cents on the dollar is simply wrong. read more

Incompetent pharmacy staff! 1 car holding up 7 cars in the drive through. 5 cars left. At least 1 was a senior citizen with limited mobility who had to walk up to the physical pharmacy. You should be ashamed of yourselves! At no time did anyone come out and inform anybody, outside or inside that they could be having a problem and maybe to come back later. I give a lot of grace with staffing and burnout. I know pharmacies have been quite affected - and yet - this Walgreens is grossly failing in terms of customer service. I've waited on hold for more than 15 minutes several times. I've waited in line (as the only person there) for more than 10 minutes without even being verbally acknowledged. Drugs are often out of stock, and wait times are always substantial. I switched to the box store pharmacy across College and the service is SO much better. This Walgreens lost my business entirely. read more

COMPLETE CUSTOMER SERVICE FAILURE! I first scheduled my booster shot at a different Walgreens. I waited 2 weeks for my appointment, only to be called at the last minute to hear that they cancelled my appointment. So then I schedule a new appointment at this Walgreens. My appointment was at 1pm. I arrive at 12:50, and stand at the end of the line. I was in line for 30 damn minutes! So I get up to the counter at 1:20pm, and say that I'm here for my 1pm booster appointment. Then the employee at the counter blames me for being 20 minutes late. He says they are about to go to lunch at 1:30, and I'll have to return at 2:15pm! What the hell! I didn't have any room in my schedule to return at 2:15pm for my 1pm appointment. So now after 3 weeks of trying, I still don't have my booster shot. I will not be returning to Walgreens for any of my shopping, or pharmacy needs. TOTAL FAILURE! read more

Just wow.....they had my prescription for over 5 days....apparently they didn't fill it so I called to verify why it was not filled and sat on hold for over an hour - they picked up AND hung up the phone 2 times in the hour I was on hold. Not an error, they would let it ring, then pick up/hang up repeatedly - voices clearly in the background when they pick up. After being so angry I couldn't get a live voice, I drove to the pharmacy to find out why they had not filled my important prescription? They did not think I could afford it so didn't order it. 1) They do not know me 2) I have insurance and would have paid regardless 3) They could have contacted me to verify my ability to pay upon receipt of the RX 4) They could have picked up the damn phone and 5) They could have called one of 5 Walgreens nearby to fill it since they were out. Instead, after driving and waiting 45 in line, after an hour of being on hold - I was told to go to the other Walgreens on Drake - got there and waited another 30 min to find out it was on Taft .... needless to say I WILL NEVER USE THIS PHARMACY AGAIN. My husband was scheduled for a covid booster shot. this has been scheduled for over two weeks. he went for his appointment on Sunday at noon. when he got into the store the pharmacy was closed. the other employees in the store said they are now closed on Sundays because they have been so busy. They made no effort to reach out to let us know that they were not going to be doing the shots on Sunday or attempt to reschedule the shot. We also were going to transfer our prescriptions to Walgreens pharmacy staff told me to verify with my ins that they are in network and if so they would transfer all my medicine from my old pharmacy. I came back the next day and the pharmacy associate said they could not transfer the medicine my old pharmacy would have to. I said that is not what I was told yesterday he said they were too busy. So I went to Walmart they did the transfer quickly they are also busy and I also got an appointment for my husband's covid shot for next week. this stores customer service has gone down hill dramatically. used to be a good store.,. ** This review is of the pharmacy only ** Not the best service I have ever had. Went to pickup some allergy meds for myself the other day. The pharmacist was kind of rude and in no rush to help me even though I clearly had snot dripping from my nose and I could barely open my eyes. Then he proceeded to argue with me about which brand I should get. Tried to convince me that the Walgreens brand was better then the name brand. I honestly couldn't have cared less, I just wanted the meds! One good thing was that they have an enormous selection of allergy meds. Almost too big. Prolly wont go back though just due to the service. read more

We used this pharmacy for years, until they really messed up. My wife had surgery and we filled the post-op prescriptions here. Big mistake. I went in to pick up the prescriptions and they said specifically they had four. I paid for the four and left. It was a mistake to trust the pharmacy; they hadn't given me two others and hadn't indicated that there were any others to pick up or that there was a problem with filling them. I went home to my wife and gave her the prescriptions Walgreens had given me. That's when we figured it out. They hadn't given us any pain meds. We went back to get that prescription, and when we went in they were still supposed to be open for 15 minutes. I was happy that we had made it. When we got to the pharmacy window, they rudely said that they wouldn't fill the prescription because of a delay and the lateness of the hour, and they didn't care that my wife would have to go without pain meds literally right after surgery. I asked why they hadn't told me earlier, and they brushed it off and said we wouldn't get the pain meds until the next day. My wife suffered without relief the entire night. I learned a few things - know exactly what and how many prescriptions to expect, always check that the pharmacy filled any required prescriptions, ask questions, and most importantly, never ever trust a pharmacy, particularly this one. They wouldn't even apologize after all of this. read more

Worst experience ever getting a prescription filled. Took 3 visits just to get a simple cream filled. Dropped off rx and they said 1.5 hour wait so I said fine I'll pick up tomorrow. I come the next day and "oh sorry we have to order that come back tomorrow" . I return the next day and still not ready and had to wait 20 mins while figure out to run insurance. Do not come here!! No apology no nothing just a little woman pharmacist?? Tech? Behind the counter acting like I was a hassle. read more

They have billed my insurance yet not actually filled the prescription multiple times, they have told me that my prescription was filled at another location after I specifically called this store and they haven't updated my insurance.
