I seriously go out of my way to go here just for their chocolate soy milk. It's so delicious!! I also get the creamy hummus, pita bread, lox, mozzarella cheese log, and veggie chips. My brother just helped me discover their OJ. Wow so good and fresh. No sugary added taste like other OJs. I love how they have an area to taste test new things and share recipe ideas to add to my recipe collection (like the creamy tomato soup with the tomato-less salsa = spicy goodness!). Prices aren't bad. I find it cheaper than Safeway down the road and similar to Target grocery prices. The people are always super friendly here which is the biggest reason I go back. I also like the homey feeling of the store. And last but not least, I love the flower selection. Makes me so happy as I walk in. The prices are really great too. Compared to other grocery stores, they are very affordable. I got my husband hooked! I used to say "Hint, hint, nudge, nudge, flowers at Trader Joe's please!" Now I don't have to hint or nudge anymore! If the place was a little bigger, I'd give it a full 5 stars. Peak hours (weekends) at this store is a bit ridiculous. My husband and I waited 15+ minutes one time standing in line to pay. They had a lot of cashiers open but they still couldn't handle the peak rush. I always try to skip this place during the weekends and go in on a Monday or Tuesday weeknight when it's less busy and so that I don't feel like I am playing bumper cars with people and their carts. This was my first time in the store and I do not see what all the hype is about. Yes I am an anti-organic person. I saw they had for you that was not organic which made me happy. I grew up going to Trader Joe's and love the store. This location is the nearest one to me and I do really enjoy it. Staff are always helping customers in a friendly manner. They deal with the crowds in the store well by Still working quickly while being friendly. The store is always clean and well organized. The issues I have with this store is location. The parking lot is always packed and I avoid coming here on weekends. None of which have anything to do with staff or the building. If you're new to Trader Joe's, pick an early morning to go when the customer count is lower. This way you'll be able to meander around and check everything out! They open at 8 daily. read more

I shop here every weekend! This is the best Trader Joe's in Maryland! I always make sure if I go on a Saturday or Sunday, I go before 10am. It starts to get crowded after those hours. I feel like I save quite a bit by shopping here on my meats, produce, and dairy! I buy 90% of my groceries here and then go to the regular grocery store. They have a very friendly and upbeat staff! I come here for things I can't get at other supermarkets ...other super markets carry a line of frozen eggplant that can be used for a quick meal but I prefer Trader Joe's. Have some great cookies. Great location especially since they have expanded the store size. More inventory and wider aisles to move about. My overall shopping experience is definitely more pleasurable. Since this is a very popular location items tend to run out of stock QUICKLY if you are shopping on the weekend days. Otherwise, they are pretty much stocked and I love the prices on the conventional and organic goods. The best Trader Joe's I've been in. The workers are just so bubbly and nice. They go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. They are happy to make you sample anything and if you're unhappy with a purchase, no questions asked they give you a refund. They also have the best produce and profits as they're always sticking and rotating or throwing products that are not up to par. read more

It's a shame they don't sell beer or wine, because I'd shop at Trader Joes wayyy more often if they did. Despite that, I still love love love TJs, mostly for the cheese and the spreads! The grocery staples like your milk, and eggs, and such are good too. But, get a whiff (or a spoonful) of that cookie butter or chocolate almond spread, and you are done for! Prices are slightly more affordable compared to Whole Foods. And the quality of products are comparable, as long as you know what you're looking for. Definitely worth a visit. Just leave me a jar of cookie butter, or two. read more

I love Trader Joe's, I just wish the store was bigger and in a better location! Traffic can sometimes be a pain with all the mall shoppers in the area, but it is close to Highway 50, so it's not too hard to get to. If the store was bigger, I would hope they'd have a bigger selection of fresh veggies, but as it is, their selection is pretty limited, and what they do have is a little overpriced. But they make up for it with other items. Their milk is the lowest price in town ($2.99 a gallon!) and I absolutely LOVE their butternut squash triangoli. They have a great selection of frozen foods, and their mini ice cream cones are the perfect size for dieters.....talk about portion control! Just enough to satisfy that sweet tooth for only 80 calories. Their cheese selection is pretty good, and I highly recommend the blueberry vanilla chevre.....just let it warm to room temperature, spread some on some pretzel crisps, and life is good! And for kids (or kids at heart) you MUST try the chocolate covered frozen banana slices. Yum! I'm not a huge fan of some of their baked goods, as they seem a bit dry (especially the brownies). And I really wish Maryland would loosen up and let them sell wine. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and will give you their genuine opinion on products if you ask them. And there's almost always some free samples to be had.....especially the teas in the back. Oh yeah.......try the spiced chai mix, too! read more

I really like TJ's they have a lot of really good quality food. One thing i do not like is they sell to many GMO'S now or at least they did not take the organic promise which makes me hesitant to try new things there. More and more non-organic vegetables and fruits are sold there all the time. I do very much enjoy that they have a lot of Russian and European imported foods! read more

Is what it is. Aldi's on steroids. Limited selections on some items. Overall great Aldi value. (Same company). When I shop I find it hard to find things. I usually either settle or can not find. Some items are outstanding in terms of price and quality. If they have what you are looking for it Trader Joe's/Aldi's is a winner for you. read more

They have many kinds of organic and healthier foods, but what I get upset about is the fact that they mostly carry just Trader Joes brand items. Shop here for many things. Despite being a picky eater, I like quite a bit from TJ's. I do get frustrated when they discontinue something I like. I wish Maryland would join the 21st century and allow alcohol to be sold in grocery stores because TJ's has an excellent beer and wine selection in other states. I love going to this grocery store. The 'Crew Members' are great. They are helpful informative and fun. For a guy that really doesn't like shopping, this grocery store makes shopping fun. This store is the perfect size for me, I can't deal with large grocery stores, too overwhelming, not enough time. If it's not organic food I'm buying there, then at least I know it's natural and minimally processed. Truly a rare place in Annapolis, a place where the employees go out of their way to give great customer service. A very small "grocery" store but they have almost everything for your shopping needs. In the back corner of the store there is always someone giving out free samples of soup. This has been my favorite place to get roses for my wife. Not that I am trying to be cheap but their flower selection is at least 6 dollars cheaper then Safeway or a Flourist. Love the Hummus they sell here and the selection of fruits are always fresh. It can get pretty crowded if you shop during the peak times (Sat and Sun during the day), so expect to wait in line for a while. I will still patronize because you can't get this type of customer service at any other grocery store! read more

Going to Trader Joe's is always fun, because they have products that are unusual, tasty, and that you can't find anywhere else. Of course, the prices are fantastic. The staff is always very friendly and reliably nice, and they have tons of checkers, you never have to wait in a long line EXCEPT around the holidays. At Christmas time or Thanksgiving, it gets so crowded in the store, it's crazy. They recently expanded the store, and that makes it a more pleasant shopping experience. I adore their sea-salt brownie bites. Also their chocolate mini-biscotti. In fact, I've rarely bought anything there that I haven't liked. A fun store. Glad I live so close by. read more

I LOVE Trader Joes!!! I drive from Arnold all the way to Annapolis to buy from them...I like the variety of special foods and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The prices are as expected and the produce is fresh. The people are warm and inviting, which is another reason I like visiting and shopping there. I go here every week and I love this place. It seems to have everything a normal grocery store has, but the best of each product. I find that the staff is always friendly and they want to keep you coming back. The best is the nut, frozen department, cheeses, anything chocolate, muffins, and I love the olive oil popcorn. I have to say that they are cheaper on most things. For example a bag of salad is $1.99 and at Safeway its $3.49. I also find milk, eggs, and vegetables much more inexpensive then other places. I'm not a fan of their fruit, but a fan of everything else. read more

Trader Joe's is a great place to shop for groceries and snacks. It isn't a fancy place but everyone there is super friendly. Their prices for many things are very reasonable. For example you can get a box of cookies there for about a buck cheaper than Whole Foods. Many of their refrigerated and frozen groceries are cheaper than Whole Foods, although WF does have some things cheaper. Whenever I am in the area I make it a point to shop at Trader Joe's. read more

What I love the most about TJs is that we can get through this store in about 30 minutes, the prices are low and the registers are staffed (no self-checkouts). The return/exchange process is the best anywhere. Product highlights are meat, (hams are excellent!), frozen foods and snack foods, especially nuts. Still an issue with inventory shortages on some items that did not improve with the bldg expansion. We still shop there fairly regularly, but are also making "mop-up" trips to Giant. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this store. I just want to comment on the employee's attitudes during covid. All of them are so pleasant and upbeat. This shows a sign of great management. I took my son with me and as we stood in the line with our masks on the employee outside started to engage with my son about his cool mask. When we went inside some of the employees were dressed as Disney characters. My son loved it. When my son and I came to the register the cashier acknowledged my son and asked if he would like some stickers. All that to say, I'm so proud of Trader Joe's and for being a light during this dark time. I appreciate how you made my son and me feel. I felt safe and cared for as I shopped. I highly recommended Trader Joe's in Annapolis. Fresh produce, unique items, low prices, and their employees/management are pleasant, positive, and still being a light in our community. read more

Best prices in the area for quality and organic groceries. They do a superb job of quality control -- nearly everything is store branded and nearly everything is fresh or made with high quality ingredients. However, you won't pay an arm & a leg to get the quality. I could not shop at some of the other organic grocery stores in the area without paying 2-3x more than TJ's. Extraordinarily friendly staff who consistently seem delighted to ring customers up. The parking spaces are a bit tight but I don't know that TJ's has any control over that. They recently expanded the store and now the aisles are a fair bit wider, making a good shopping experience even better. read more
