Really beautiful, inviting, comfortable brewery! While out and about we'd picked up a 4-pack of their beer, Space Beach IPA; based on this delicious beer we decided to make a visit. Great decision! Think, bring my laptop and hang out with some fantastic beer options. Plenty of space for everyone to chill. Food truck was a bit pricey for what we ordered ($14 shrimp burrito). It was on the small side. If we paid $10, it would have been fine as it wasn't too filling, and left room to try another beer :) The beer tenders were super nice. We ended up trying about 4 different IPA 's and all were delicious (Cricket Sweater especially!!). I highly recommend spending a relaxing afternoon stop here. read more

My friends and I went to Trademark when I found an F1 party was being hosted there. It was paired with the corroboration of my friend who worked in Long Beach and had been there multiple times. It seems as if this brewery is championing the two coveted watch parties of F1 and The Bachelor franchise, which is great on their part! Unfortunately, due to the time of day, I wasn't compelled to try their craft beer. I think I would have liked to have tried their pilsner. They also don't serve food, but had some food trucks stationed in their outside patio. Parking was tough; we parked on a street a 5 min walk away. The place was well staffed, and service appeared to be engaged. My only confusion was why online (albeit free) tickets would be reserved if they were never checked on the day of. This caused the problem of a seat shortage. They tried to remedy it by bringing high chairs from outside, and ultimately I know they can't turn folks away. They had a really fun vending machine with fun stuff. My only complaint is the benches. Trademark hosted my wedding rehearsal dinner. I worked with Ilana to book the patio space. Everything was easy and straightforward. She was super helpful throughout the planning process. It was a cool December evening and they were able to provide heaters for our guests and arrange a valet service for us. If you are in the Long Beach area then I highly recommend that you check this place out. They have a huge and unique selection of beer. They even have slushees which I think you should definitely try, especially on those hot days! They ample amounts of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. So definitely a great place to meet up with a group of friends & their dogs too. This brewery is dog friendly so bring them along. We celebrated my cousin's 40th bday here last Saturday. They a big outdoor area with a food truck, games and a big mural painting - so cool! They also have a lot of indoor space. The beer was really good. My favorite was the Hat trick. Price is decent and all the staff was nice. The only bad side is the parking situation. Apparently they are pretty strict with the street hours parking so make sure to move your car if you are planning to stay longer. read more

This brewery appears to be located in a gentrified area of Long Beach. The interior is large and nicely decorated. They have some card and board games you can borrow and rotating food trucks. There is a pretty large parking area off to the side of the building. The beer is nothing to rave about. Nothing really stood out to me when I asked for a few samples. I ended up settling for the Codebreaker, a west coast IPA. Service was quick and the bartenders were friendly. I don't think I would come back to this brewery. Everyone's tastebuds are different, but I was pretty disappointed with the beer selection. read more

We hosted our wedding brunch at Trademark Brewery because it was close by our venue and they could accommodate our schedule and guest count. The space was excellent -- we had the West Lawn booked but because we came early, our guests could sit inside before the noon crowd came in. The West Lawn was also where the taco truck we catered from set up, making everything very convenient. They were also very accommodating with what we wanted (non-alcoholic drinks on us and the rest on our guests) and even came up with wristbands and signage to convey this. Once the event started, everything went by without a hitch! Thanks so much for helping us run our event smoothly! One note that others have brought up: parking is a bit of a pain, so I would plan in advance if you're hosting an event and communicate where parking can be found. read more

I am officially obsessed. I see in photos they have a large indoor area but right now I'm loving sitting outside in their spacious beer garden. The Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera murals give it a fun and unique touch. I truly enjoy coming here because all of the tables are very well spaced, large and it all feels very safe. Place your order at the register and they will bring the beer to you. On the weekends they have food pop-ups and you currently need to purchase a $7 food voucher with every tab. In addition to the great atmosphere, the beers are fantastic as well. The Hula Moon, a Tropical IPA is a must for me. We also enjoyed the Pacific Vision (West Coast IPA), Late to the Party (Hazy IPA) and the On Center which is a Helles Lager. I could truly sit here for hours, sipping and relaxing. Staff is always so welcoming and helpful. The only watchout is that it's not in the nicest area, and parking can be hard to come by. Chill vibes and super solid beer. The indoor space was nice and spacious. There are plenty of seats with cute hung up string lights across the ceiling. The staff was friendly and allowed us to sample a few beers before making our choices, but most of the beers were underwhelming in my opinion. They have rotating food trucks outside which is a big plus. The area is pretty sketchy and parking is hard to find. I did not feel safe walking around this area or parking on the street. The biggest turn off was when we were leaving the brewery, there was a homeless man up against the building taking a massive diarrhea dump. Thankfully it was dark, so I didn't see much, but the sound of the poop splashing all over the place still haunts me. This is not the business fault, but the area is not the greatest. read more

We were attending this brewery when doodlefest was going on. And there was tons of doodles running amok. There was a doodle Halloween costume contest and everything. Place was packed. Staff was very friendly. Ended up ordering the fruit punch slushee and the banana daiquiri ale. Both were absolutely tasty. The fruit punch slushee was slushed to perfection. Wasn't too sweet. The banana daiquiri was the hit of the night. So so tasty. Wasn't overpowering with banana flavoring which I was afraid of because you can really go wrong there. But they made it just right. Found this place by following a food truck that I was interested in that was parked at trademark. This place is so dope! It is new, open concept with plenty of beers on tap (not a beer drinker so not reviewing the beer) and a nice outdoor beer garden. The beer garden has cool murals painted on the walls and seating on wooden lunch benches. Came in a Wednesday evening probably before the crowd. It was fairly quiet and I enjoyed the food truck and a frozen pink lemonade. Would definitely come back. read more

This was a great experience. They held an event here, which was the reason I found the brewery. I am NOT a BEER DRINKER however, they made this drink called a HILLI SMASH FROZEN DRINK (frozen drink specifically) with their sour beer in it and wow it was like a tart frozen yogurt. It will be my new request wherever I go for drinks, although I fear it was too original. It was light pink in color and a refreshing burst of flavor that I have not seen anywhere else. I also appreciate the banner with the bachelorette updates indicated with slashes on the pictures of the eliminated contestants. Contemplated posting this but it's been on my mind for a couple days and just need to put this out there. My best friend and I have been coming here every Tuesday for chess and mah Jong for a few Tuesdays in the past month. Everytime we go the lovely bartenders always ask or recognize us and give us that very gracious discount for coming out and playing on a Tuesday night. This past Tuesday we seen a bartender who we haven't seen and when we ordered he didn't ask us if we were here for games and we paid full price, totally not a problem since it's like $2 off no big deal maybe they don't do that anymore. Now, the man right behind us who is in our mah Jong group ordered and we overheard the bartender asking him if he was here for chess to get the discount. Now let's set the scene a bit: my best friend is black, the bartender is white, and the customer behind us was white... at no point after seeing us play at the mahjong table for an hour did the bartender offer us a discount on our refills. It's not about money here, it's about the fact he seen a black woman and immediately assumed she isn't here for chess or mahjong. Really uncomfortable because our group plays here every Tuesday but now it seems we won't be coming back. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great beers in a spacious, welcoming environment. I never got around to writing my review about this place before the pandemic and felt weird about writing it during the pandemic when one couldn't even go in here for a long time. I have now been a couple of times since restrictions were lifted, and I'm happy to report that they are still the same great brewery and tasting room that they've always been! Probably one of my favorite breweries in Long Beach. If you want to meet up with a large group of friends, this is the place--their indoor area is huge and the patio is also quite sizable. I can't remember all of the beers I've tried here, but some of my faves are the Cricket Sweater Juicy Hazy IPA, Ascending Progression Kolsch, and the Get Toasty Coconut Porter. They also have regular weekly events like game and trivia nights in case you're looking for something to do while you drink their delicious beers! Also, as a graphic designer I really appreciate their well-designed logos, signage, and merch! read more

This brewery is pretty chill and I really enjoyed my visit. First off, the Diego Rivera & Frida Kahlo mural in the parking lot is amazing. I'm a huge fan of Frida so it was definitely a great sight. Second, the guy and girl serving the beer at counter were nice and friendly which made it an even better experience. There is plenty of seating throughout the brewery so I wouldn't be worried about that especially if you have a group. Plus, they also have seating outside in patio/parking lot so that's a plus. At the back end inside the brewery, they have 4 corn hole games, 2 giant Jenga's, and a giant Connect Four. You can take the Connect Four to your table as long as your sitting on one of the long tables. You betcha, that's exactly what we did and it was amazing. While there, I did try two of their sours: Violet Crush and Gem Tones. They were both sweet and fresh tasting. Out of the two though, my favorite was Violet Crush. It wasn't too sweet and i could definitely taste the blueberry in it. I would definitely like to go back soon to try the different selections so gotta make time for that. When we were there, a local pizza company was providing food which I think was pretty good. A lot of the people were ordering from them so I'm assuming they are a favorite. What a cute brewery near the apartment! We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by all the drinks offered. Their beer selections on tap were pretty vast and I was so excited to see their slushy machines off to the side! There were two beer slushies and one non-alcoholic slushy in the works that day. The slushies were perfect for a warm day and are incredibly dangerous! They don't taste like beer, so it was just me pretty much inhaling it. I had sips of friends' beers and all were pretty solid as well. Definitely coming back another time to get a flight so I can narrow down which ones I really like. Meatless Mondays are awesome with great vegan vendors and most other days a food truck or two are set up. Parking is rough in Anaheim so pass by the front and make your first right for street parking. FYI, parking can be a bit tricky. My only suggestion at this point moving forward has to do with beer flights: 1. When someone orders a flight, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put the beers in the board in order as they appear on the hanging menu boards (they were in order of the actual taps at the bar)! My husband and I ordered two full flights to try everything and had a hard time keeping them straight for our untappd check ins. 2. If you don't do the suggestion from #1, please offer flight sheets to document what was chosen and what is in front of us. Welcome to the neighborhood! First time at this brewery. A recommendation from a friend to go here for my daughter's birthday. The venue was large enough for your gatherings.The beer was decent . The neighborhood is a little on the shady side! When we drove up some guy was shooting up meth in the alley! Wouldn't want to be there after dark! We all wanted something to put in our stomachs before we started to drink. The only option was a taco truck out back. I understand that food prices are up, but for the price I would have expected real cheese and not cheese wheez on my nachos! The tacos were skimpy on the meat and very small portions! Well now I *really* need to write an update, now that it *really* isn't their soft opening, haha. Over this past year, things kept changing so quickly, it felt weird to update old reviews only to have my updates immediately become obsolete the following week, but now that it finally feels like we're really in the "new normal" phase of the covid recovery, I'm updating it now. During covid, they were scrupulously following all the rules (even the dumb ones!), but now it's finally back to feeling like a totally normal brewery. The feel of the place is still the same as it was pre-covid, which is to say, a huge spacious indoor space, and also a huge, spacious, really nice outdoor patio (other than I believe they cannibalized some of their parking for an even bigger patio when the indoor space was disallowed due to covid, I'm not sure whether they're going to revert that back for more parking at some point, but the patio was still pretty big pre-covid, anyway). Plenty of tables inside and outside, and the patio has a great mural, too, not that you go to a brewery to see a mural. Only thing that hasn't come back yet is the bar seating, though presumably that's just a matter of time (I do miss sitting at the bar, though sitting outside is nice too!) Every single one of their employees I've interacted with, from the people who've been there since the beginning to the brand new people they just hired, have been super friendly and helpful. When they aren't busy, it's fun to chat with them about beer, though I've also seen it *mega* busy, and I still have beer in my hand within a couple minutes, cause they know what they're doing! Of course, none of that is relevant if the beer isn't good - the beer is some of the best beer in the area. I'd say the biggest change from my initial review at the soft open is, they've really hit their stride in terms of *number* and *variety* of beer. Their beer has always been great from day one, but now I can safely say: they've made several dark beers I've loved (currently on top is their new pastry stout - a collab with Long Beach Creamery! - but they also have in the rotation a great coconut porter, a great coffee stout, a couple different great imperial stouts, and I believe they still have bottles of a barrel-aged version as well, which is also great), several lighter beers I've loved (the Viking Blonde is one of few blondes I've truly loved, and the A La Playa lager is not only the *only* lager I've ever loved, but also one of my favorite beers of all time), multiple of my favorite sours (blueberry lemonade, mango, pineapple coconut, and pomegranate so far - and they've all been excellent.) And yes, also, plenty of IPAs - I woke up randomly one day a few months ago in the middle of the pandemic and discovered I liked IPAs all of a sudden, and all of theirs are great, too, especially their hazies (but really everything. They don't make bad beer.) Obviously they don't always have everything, they rotate fairly frequently, but in general, they have kept up a pretty large menu with a pretty wide array of styles, which I love. I should also include an update on the "beer cocktail" program, which when they first started was more sporadic (and then stopped during covid), but is now reliably every Friday-Sunday. They have life-changingly good micheladas (seriously, A La Playa has spoiled me on micheladas), great beer mai tais and beermosas, and a new blood orange spritz they just released a few weeks ago that's super refreshing. And while they don't have the "redeye" (half-coffee-half-beer) on the official "cocktail" menu anymore, as long as they have cold brew and a good dark beer, you could totally make it yourself (I'd recommend it, if you want caffeine - it's a delicious combo.) Of course, you can also just get their cold brew by itself, too - they also just make great cold brew (using the same beans that go into their coffee stout!) Food-wise, for a while during the worst of covid, they were understandably playing it safe and only using a few food vendors (since they were required to sell food, and I'm sure there was a bunch of red tape), but now they're back to their pre-covid food truck rotation, where a wide variety of food vendors rotate daily - and almost every one of them I've tried has been great (half the time I'm here specifically because of the food vendor that day). Though as an added bonus, since it isn't their own kitchen, now that covid restrictions are lifted, you can also bring your own food, which is also nice sometimes. There's a great hole in the wall Mexican place a block away, for instance! So yeah - plenty of reasons I'm here all the time. (Though to be fair, one of them is also that it's hyperlocal, so that makes it a lot easier to pop in whenever, haha.) read more
