I have been coming here for years and the quality has always been low. In recent years it has gotten worse. I would not come here again, even if it was a last resort. The thoughtless repetitive motions of every service makes you feel... not relaxed. My calves were raw after my sugar scrub pedicure. The lady who did my nails was so nice! So the review isn't meant to criticize her customer service, it was just the style and application I was disappointed in. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I've never been so unhappy with my nails. :( I got a full set and from the beginning, when the nail tech was shaving down my real nail, it felt very rushed and incomplete. Then the acrylic base itself was very thin. The tips were really curved and with the thin base, it just wasn't very flattering. I ended up being charged $70 for a long, acrylic set with 2 colors and 2 rhinestones. I think the place is really hit or miss and you're better off finding a nail tech you can trust I did notice a lot of people going for manicures and pedicures so I'd say if you're going for full sets, save your coin and opt for somewhere else! I used to come here often before the pandemic and thought they did a good job, even if it was a bit busy and loud. I am extremely disappointed by my recent experience, and it was a huge waste of money. My biggest beef is I got a gel manicure and it literally began to chip the next day. Within 5 days, there were so many chips and peeled sections that it looked worse than if I had even gotten a regular polish. I had a trip planned to SF and had hoped to look put together, I didn't have time to get my nails redone, and my nails would have looked better with no polish at all. The pedicure was also subpar, I paid extra for a longer massage and she just rubbed up and down with the sugar scrub without any care - talking to the pedicurist next to her without even looking at me or what she was doing. I've been going to Tracy's Nails for 10 years. The staff are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. I've seen Heidi there the past 5 years. She is awesome! My toes always look wonderful. Tracy, the owner is also wonderful. From all appearances she treats her staff like family. Everyone is laughing and seeming to have fun. Tracy doesn't hold back when it comes to working either. This place is a JOKE!!! I Will NEVER come here again. Ván rushed me, she did a fill in under 15 minutes. She also cut my finger . Instead of giving me a bandaid she puts nail glue in my cut. It's been 3 days and cut is still open. I'm going to my doctor tomorrow. I made a 4 day in advance appointment for my client, We come in on time and waited for Ván ... she's 30 minutes late and instead of helping my client she helped a different lady. I have gone to Tracy's for years for basic manicures and pedicures, pedicures more regularly than manicures. Generally there is little to no wait to get to a chair. I'm happy to sit in the chair and let my feet soak and the massage chair work its magic a little longer, so I don't mind if that takes more time, which it can. It is super loud in here, not a quiet and calm relaxing environment, or good for a quick chat with a friend next to you. That said, the pedicure itself can be super relaxing. The other day I brought a (male) friend with me to get his 2nd ever pedicure. My technician did a great job and was kind and friendly. I wasn't paying attention to my friends feet because he's an adult, and I was relaxed. When we walked out I looked down to ask him how it went and he was perplexed as to why I liked it so much. I looked down and realized they 1. didn't push back or trim his cuticles 2. cut his toenails kind of jagged and on a straight line (not slightly rounded edges as they were originally) 3. didn't file his nails at all and 4. didn't buff them at all. He paid full price and got half the service, and is now unlikely to come back, or refer friends. He said he felt like the technician was annoyed she had to work on a man so he tipped 60% because he felt guilty. His feet were fine to start! This feels a wasted opportunity for Tracy's to market more broadly to men. I also would like to note that over time, I've noticed the younger or newer staff do this kind of half service. Hopefully there can be more training available since so many of the techs do a great job, but it really is a gamble. I guess I should identify a couple of people who I think do a great job and start making appointments. Takes some of the fun of the spontaneity of it away, but oh well - worth it for a better experience! read more

Removed my polish after a month to see full-on toenail fungus. My friend that I went with had the same issue. I now have a prescription medication and they say it'll take up to a year for my nail to grow out. And I can't wear nail polish to cover the ugly nail. I would like to inform you guys SKIP THIS PLACE! I've been cut both times I went here for acrylic nails. I went here two days ago and the employees name was Summer. I had an appointment for two of us yesterday morning at 9 am. Pedicure and dip nails. 9 am. First thing! Unfortunately, 4 of my nails have already chipped and my left great toe is red and inflamed. I had no previous problem with any toes before. My girlfriend had a manicurist that kept jerking her arm and hand. I have figured out why my real eyelashes are falling out - there are like 6 false eyelashes glued to one eyelash! this is what she did to make up for the fact that her shitty work was creating bald spots in my lash line. just covered it up with too many false eyelashes- too much weight, too much glue. all of my eyelashes were adhered to eachother too. not extensions on a single eyelash- how they are supposed to be done. read more

A much needed update on my review. It really depends on who you get as your nail technician. I got a horrible gel manicure that was uneven and chipped after two days. Over all I come here in a pinch, I have other places I have found over the years that are more consistent. The upside is usually there is little to no wait time and you can just walk in. The downside is the quality is inconsistent. I usually get a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Unlike other places.. they don't have the gel and regular polish sets. If you want your nails and toes to match you have to dig through the polishes.. sometimes it feels like being at Ross trying to find your size. Overall reasonably clean. read more

Kathy is amazing - always takes her time and gives an AMAZING massage. She is very sweet and seems to care about doing a good job. Prices have gone up in recent years ($25 gel manicure, $20 pedicure). They have limited gel polish colors. Would be nice if they expanded their selection. Everytime I am there, I struggle to find a color I like whereas other salons have so many I can't choose. The cleanliness is also concerning. They don't seem to clean or sanitize between customers. Overall, it's a decent place but with some small changes, it could be dramatically improved. read more

Best nail salon in town, of course there are a few bad apples to watch out for...for starters I recommend avoiding getting a pedicure by Yoki, unless you have a high tolerance for pain, and have half a day. Plus she can't figure out how to cut my nails for nothing! (There kinda thick) and when she's messaging with the scrub in the same spot over and over, not pleasant. The pedicure you can get many different types and I ordered the number two and didn't realize that it was the wax so I have to be careful next time to order just a number one pedicure bath. This time, however, I was really really disappointed. I went in for a French gel manicure on Monday morning for a wedding in New York this week. Yesterday, only a day after I got them done I realized the tips were starting to turn brown. I wash my hands constantly and have never had this happen before. Today, only two days after I got them done the tips are a full disgusting yellow brown color. They look awful and I am extremely embarrassed by them. I would have gone back to get the fixed but now I am in New York left to have a salon out here fix them. Not cool, a waste of my money and time both at home and in New York. My Bestest brought me here for a belated birthday treat. I have a thing for getting my feet rubbed so we were here for pedi's. Yay! Parking was a tad tight but luckily we pulled in as someone was pulling out. Score! I was actually surprised at how large this location was once we walked in. They have nail stations to the right and a boat load of pedi spa chairs to your right. Obviously we went right. I can't remember exactly but there had to be at least 20 chairs and at 3pm on a Saturday, most were full of customers. We sat in our chair for a few minutes before a nice man came to fill up our spa basins. The water was perfect and in went my feet. awwwwwww. Then I found the remote control for my chair to get the massaging going. Again .. awwwwww. We had two very sweet ladies take care of our toes. We chose the Hot Rock massage ($25) and sat back to relax and enjoy. Okay ... huge pet peeve of mine is when they wear rubber gloves when rubbing my feet. It just doesn't feel good. I'm guessing it's like a man wearing a condom during sex. Bare is better. But I get the whole sanitary thing too. Anyway, I deducted a star for that. Another pet Peeve is when they don't ask you if you'd like additional services. Would you like a design on your toes? Would you like a longer massage? I would have said yes to both and paid the extra charge (Bestest was paying the initial cost) but they never asked and since I was in a new place, I didn't really want to ask. But over all, the customer service was friendly, they are very careful with cleaning and cutting your nails. The sanding of my gnarly callused feet could have been more aggressive and the massage could have been harder and obviously longer. If I'm back on this side of the hill and in the mood for a Pedi (which is always) I'd consider giving Tracy's a second try. read more

I was so happy to have some self care after so many months. Being in healthcare has been brutal without any self care for ourselves. Tracy is always pleasant, kind and caring since the first time I meet her. Even though I don't know her personally she's always so pleasant upon walking in and treats you as if she's known you for a long time. As a friend! I have been going here for many years. The service quality is NOT consistent. There seems to be this pattern of rushing through the services. It is not relaxing or a pleasure. In the past I was asked by the nail tech's how I would like my service customized i.e. the packaged scrub, oils, creams, this no longer happens. Today I asked to not have my cuticles trimmed just pushed back, the tech ignored me and cut my cuticles. I had a mani & pedi at the same time. If I politely requested anything the 2 techs would talk in Vietnamese rapidly. Probably talking trash. The woman giving me the pedi never stopped talking the entire time. I am a senior and asked that my feet be handled gently. The response was negative. When I paid in cash, I tipped 20% to the woman who did the pedi and the woman who did the mani and she asked for more money. This has happened before. I've been in Customer Service almost all my life and I am considered generous person and find this extremely rude and wonder if I should talk to the owner about it. I felt like I was getting "shaken down" for more cash. I have quite a few friends and not one of them likes going to Tracy Nail's. I'm starting to realize why. read more

This is literally the biggest nail salon I've ever seen!A big staff was their helping customers which I liked. This is the best nail salon for me! The entire crew is like a big family that you get to be a part of during your time spent there. I enjoying knowing that Tracy's has been donating to sick elderly/building children's homes /restoring communities/ housing children, and the less fortunate back in her native land. My nail technician did not take the time and effort like hers did. I walked out feeling ok about my experience but about a week past and my nails start chipping. I called and asked to just have them removed and she gave me many excuses at to why the nails would have not worked for me: that my nails may be thin because of getting gel nails a lot, etc. I had not had gel nails done in over 2 months. They said they would not take them off. What lead me to write this review is that they wanted the $5 over receiving a unsatisfied review. I used to go to Tracy's a lot back in the day but have been going to my current nail tech for the past two years for manicures and just doing my own pedicures at home. This past weekend I decided to go with my mom and get a pedicure while she got a manicure. By the end of the day my big toe was in pain and starting to get swollen. I woke up in the middle of the night because it hurt so bad. The next morning it hurt even more and was way more swollen and red. It hurt a lot to walk on. I don't know what they did or if their tools aren't properly cleaned but I definitely will not be coming back ever again. read more
