Wow! I am so pleased and impressed with Summer's work. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable, and attentive, and the results were even better than I imagined. Thank you so much! read more

The ladies were very kind and welcoming, but I was disappointed with the quality of my manicure and pedicure. For my manicure, I asked to keep my nails longer with a square shape, but they weren't shaped properly and are uneven. During my pedicure, I was accidentally cut on my big toe within the first few minutes. The technician apologized, which I appreciated, but the final result still looks rough. The polish is messed up at the top, and my middle toe appears to either have my old polish or blood on my skin. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't the best this time around. read more

I've been coming here off and on since 2017!! It's wonderful even when the salon is slammed during the holidays. I just got this fresh set from Hazel and I need to post my review. My nails are so lovely and elegant and whimsical. Perfect for the upcoming Halloween season and a night out watching Practical Magic II. read more

Absolutely amazing in every way possible. I've been going to Tracy's nails since I was 18 and I'm way older now haha. There isn't anything they can't do or accommodate; they always go above and beyond. read more

I decided I didn't want any color and this is what I left with. The owner kept telling me that she would fix it for me and I said no I want to pay and leave. I told them I did not think 80$ was appropriate for the service I received. The lady doing my nails did not listen to me even after the 3rd time that I wanted rounded nails. I understand working in the service industry is difficult on busy days but this business shouldn't be open if they cannot perform a simple manicure and listen to what their clients want....... like buffed nails that are all the same length So i left paying 77$ I felt hustled and like they did not care I was upset. I just kept being told that they could fix it. but after no one would listen to me I didn't want to try for the 4th time LOL It's sad because this place used to be great! But unfortunately things have changed. I've heard from other places around town that most of the Techs there have no certifications at all. :) I don't know why I went today because the last time I went the same thing happened and Tracy fixed my nails before I left. I was hoping things would be ok today but I should have known better. read more

Genuinely never come here. I've been here so many times and within three days my entire gel has fallen off and chipped. All the gems will fall off. Absolutely despicable quality of materials. They used to be so much better and they clearly have cheapened out so so so much. Not worth your time and definitely not worth your money. 0/100000000000. Horrible quality read more

Umie did a great job with my acrylic full set, 3 weeks in there's no breaking or lifting. The salon is busy and sometimes there's a fair wait but it's worth it for the quality and price read more

I noticed that the past few times I've been there the girls get very irritated with some of the customers, including myself. This last time if I could get my nails painted first, and then have my gel pedicure done. The girl doing my nails, walked off angrily to go get the nail polish color I wanted and then started yelling in Vietnamese to the other girls. It was obvious to me that she was complaining about me as she walked away because all of the other girls turned and stared at me. I like to think of myself as a very friendly person. I don't think asking for my nails to be painted first and then the gel pedicure was a big thing to ask. I noticed that this has happened before with some other women in the shop. I'm going to try a different nail salon from now on. I think that their owner should take the girls aside teach them to be a little nicer and more respectful. read more

The massage chairs are AMAZINGGG I got the deluxe pedicure I think it was $75 and got a regular French tip about $55. I don't do this stuff a lot so it was nice to feel girly for an hour. The quality of the store was great, clean, quiet, and most importantly relaxing I just laid back in my chair and let these lovely ladies do their magic! read more

Went in to get my acrylic's taken off and she ripped off part of my nail. I've been to Tracy's before usually to get my acrylic's taken off. The first time I came in the wait was long but the guy was able to take off my nails with ease. However that wasn't the case for my second and last visit. I came in and was told to sit until someone was assigned to me, even though I called earlier to book an appointment. Once the lady got to me everything went down from there. She started using another clean acrylic tip to take off my nails. As she was taking them off I started feeling burning and pain and said "ouchh" to which she said "shhhhh." I don't know what kind of establishment tells its customers to endure pain. When I looked down I saw that she had ripped off apart of my thumb nail in half and it was bleeding. She continued to say sorry but her actions and her shushing me was enough for me to not want to come back here. read more

They have a stamp card and gave me two stamps for spending over $55. My gel-x set with design cost $75, which is pretty decent! Made an appointment in advance for 3 of us to get Gel-X and we probably spent 2.5 hours there (my friend got a more complicated custom design with chrome). read more

I had been coming to this nail salon for many years and lately they've been lacking on customer service. They told me it would be a 15 minute wait and it was technically an hour. when I told them I was about to leave all they said was your next and they still took another 15 minutes I wasn't 100% happy with my pedicure as the nail polish I wanted wasn't available so one nail is darker than the rest. Overall bummed the service has gone down . read more

Had a gift certificate and came to get a pedicure. I think I chose the second level deluxe. It was Saturday, had called around 3 and made an appointment at 5pm. If you really know, you know it's always the best to call ahead anywhere!). They got me in right away @ the time of my appt, and it was busy! But not chaotic with how much staff they had working. The pedicure was about an hour!! I was so grateful. My technician knew what she was doing. A little rough on the exfoliating scrub and the massage at first but nothing a little communication can't fix! Never be afraid to speak up. I got regular polish, sparkly blue. It's been 2 weeks, I went swimming same night I got it! and still looks great. Will definitely be back with my daughter to see how it goes with her. read more

I love Tracy's! They are always so busy but they always get you in so quick! I've never had to wait for longer than 5min. And for how busy they get, they never rush through the service you're getting and they really take their time! This is my go to pedi spot! I've had so many employees do my toes and each one were always so good and so nice! I know some places seem sus and know they are probably talking about you, but I never get that vibe from Tracy's! Tracy's Nails is THE best nail salon. I've been going there for decades and I am always happy with my nails when I leave. The quality is consistently good... No one can do my nails like Tracy. And she has become like family to me .... I love and respect her All the people who work there are skilled at what they do and always do their best to satisfy the clients. Tracy's son and daughter also work there and they are just the sweetest. Tracy is a very intelligent and caring business owner and she oversees everything to ensure that people leave with a smile. This salon gets my highest recommendation. I travel 40 minutes to choose this shop over others. read more

I use to go to Tracy Nails but it is loud, hectic and not the least bit relaxing. My manicurist was the owner and was up and down serveral times during my appointment, giving orders to other employees. Very disrputive. read more

Tracy's Nails is amazing! I was in the area and walked in close to closing and they took me as a walk in. TONS of chairs and they are always gentle. My favorite part is they give you an actual massage and take their time with the shape and paint application. I'd come here all the time if I lived closer. Parking is super easy too. read more

I went to Tracy's today for a gel manicure and pedicure... Sue did my pedicure and she did an expert job... Very careful with my feet and ingrown toenails were challenging, but she handled up no sweat...Kayla did the manicure. She paid special attention to how I needed them trimmed so they will not crack... I appreciate this. I almost never get anyone to listen to me at a nail salon... You guys did a great job you were so professional and polite and let me choose what I wanted to do. I will definitely come back because of your great service. read more

This place is a joke. There are so many girls in there it's overwhelming. They don't speak English. Got a pedicure yesterday. Had to wait 30 minutes. So we're a few other girls. I paid $40 for a gel pedicure. I got more of a color change. Then the girl who did it followed me over to the cashier begging for a tip. Made me feel very uncomfortable. She didn't deserve it at all. Went back yesterday and told the owner Tracy. She said she had to look at the camera. She made me feel like a lier. I am not going back. She is a rip off. read more

Business stopped taking Venmo as payment about a month ago , there are no signs stating that posted and they are charging the customer a 3% charge to use credit or debit card! This is something the business owner should absorb . I don't believe I will be back again due to these changes. If you don't bring cash, be ready to pay more for your services. read more

Gave Tracy's Nails a try after a sister's tip and loved it. Staff is great, prices are reasonable, and the polish actually lasts. Highly recommend! read more

I have visited this establishment on a couple of occasions in the past and attempted to give it another chance. Regrettably, the service has been consistently disappointing, beginning with the nail therapists, who often appear unfriendly and unhappy. They seem to become agitated when requests are made. The front desk staff is also unfriendly. I strongly believe that customer service is essential, and I prefer not to be exposed to negative energy while having my nails done. This business is oversaturated, and in Santa Cruz, options are limited. They charge a high price for their nail services, which are not of the best quality. Furthermore, they charge a 3% fee for credit card or cash payments. I feel sorry for most of the workers, as they are constantly exposed to strong chemicals without proper protection, such as masks. Hopefully, some improvements will be made. I do not intend to return. read more

I have tried multiple times to give this place another chance and something about their gel nail polish does not last more than a day! For the over priced nail services, I would not suggest this place. If you need a quick job and short lasting paint color, then this is your place. Just not for me. The nail technicians are always polite and the place has very good cleanliness. read more

I've been coming to Tracy's for some years now plus I bring my family, friends, and students but the service has gone down, rough, poor jobs, and there's many hidden prices that you don't get until the end I am definitely disappointed and have gone to two other places with wonderful service as well as the prices are what they say they are all the way to the end and they do a nice gentle job very relaxing Thank you Aptos nails and red carpet read more

Very disappointed with "Deluxe" pedicure! No foot massage at all, only received quick rubbing up and down my calves. Smudged polish around edges of nails, very rushed, a lot of pressure to give a tip. My feet are easy to work on-no old polish to remove, very few calluses, etc. I've been going to Tracy's for years, but that was definitely my last visit. I can't tolerate inconsistency in services. read more

Today I went to get acrylics for my college graduation and she hurt me on multiple occasions with her filling drill and even after I told her, she would acknowledge that it hurt and did it again and again. she even cut me while carving out the bottom of my nails. she twisted my knuckles so hard it hurt every time she wanted to move my finger and I even told her that she was being too rough and she continued anyways. when she put on the first coat I asked if it would get darker after the second, and she got mad and took off my nail polish and told me to go back and pick a color I actually want. during the process I had blue nail polish smeared across my hand and fingers. tried to put glitter on me without asking even though it was not in the reference. tried to put a random color on one of my fingers without asking. she didn't let me wash my hands after she filed, and she never put cuticle oil on me. my hands were so dry after. I had glitter on the side of my hand after leaving and hardened glue on my finger. I am a regular customer and have loved my nails in the past. I always end up getting nail art or some charms and it has never been a problem before. she is someone I have never gotten before and I was so rushed out I didn't get her name. my friend got a more complicated nail design than me at the same time with another nail tech and she said it was a wonderful experience with Mai. whoever did my nails should be ashamed because I have never had worse nail service than that. read more
