Brands that do not compare to KanCan & low rise KanCan jeans were thrown into my dressing room. I cannot wear low rise or mid rise because they do not offer enough coverage, but there were still low rise and mid rise jeans thrown into my fitting room. The associate also threw in some shirts for me to "try" and assumed my size without asking. The shirts were 2 sizes too big and completely opposite of my style. I'm not sure why she didn't ask my size or my style. None of the jeans in the fitting room worked out & after I told her I'd seen some pieces online I wanted, she was adamant about showing me what she had on the store iPad instead of letting me show her what I already pulled up. Overall it was an irritating experience. If I'm paying $60+ for jeans, I want to enjoy the experience, not have things I hate thrown my way or other things I'm disinterested in at the moment.

You can tell that they are passionate about the products they sell and incredibly knowledgeable about western gear and the culture. As I mentioned, it's not a typical store. It's a small room inside the couple's home filled with sturdy, handmade trinkets and clothes. I was a bit apprehensive thinking that I was going to pay an arm and a leg for such great quality authentic clothing, but my apprehensions were pushed aside when Dan shared the prices with me. Guys, he's the BEST and offers INCREDIBLE prices!! I ended up buying a pair of vintage ear rings, a belt, and a long sleeve denim shirt for my husband for $75 total!!! I am very familiar with Banana Republic and the quality of products being sold. Today I went into this particular BR store with my sister and daughter. See, my family is leaving on a three week trip to Europe very soon and I was looking for fancy wide leg pants. When we entered the store we were greeted by a women who seemed friendly. I was able to find 4 items that I liked and stood just outside the dressing room. While I waited, off to the side were two girls (associates) chatting away. The store wasn't busy at all. The friendly woman was helping another customer inside the dressing room and happened to notice me and let me into a dressing room. At the same moment one of the girl associates broke away from her convo and asked if I needed a dressing room. Duh, I'm standing holding clothes in front of the dressing room door. I tried the 4 pieces on. the friendly woman continued to help her customer and never did return to my dressing room nor did any other associate. Did I like the clothing? Yes. Would I have tried on more? Yes. Did any one associate do their job? NOPE! After I got dressed I brought my clothes out of the dressing room. Call me proper or old school - maybe I just have better manners than most but my intention were to put the clothing back in it's place. My sister was waiting just outside the dressing room and I stood and talked with her about where all the associates were? While I'm speaking to my sister one of the girl associates comes over and asked if anything worked. I politely said no and asked where I could place the items. She begins to explain that most people just leave the items in the dressing room. She continues to stare at me as I hold the items and then proceeds to say - Or I can just take them for you? She doesn't move at all. I attempted to hand the items over and she then says - oh, all of them??? I left the store and went a couple doors down to the HM store. Albeit, the quality is not equal - but the customer service is just right!
