This rating is purely a reflection of their dog washing area, which has dropped off a cliff over…read morethe last couple of years while the cost to the customer has increased. -The floor is always drenched with water pooling in certain areas, and globs of dog hair swimming around in the water. - The tubs have dog hair on the walls and clogging the drain. - While the hoses have been recently replaced, one of the tubs doesn't have a place to secure the hose, and there are other issues like broken sliding doors, missing leashes, broken step-ups, etc. - The towels are so ratty you will leave covered in white fibers. - It's just gross in there. I'd love for them to put a protocol in place for keeping this space cleaner. I imagine some customers are very inconsiderate and don't clean up after themselves, but that shouldn't be a problem for the next customer. For example, after each customer leaves the cleaning room, a staff member could go in, sanitize, wash the walls, put the equipment back where it belongs, squeegee the floor. I can't imagine Pet Supplies Plus wants the liability of someone slipping on standing water...? This process would only take 5 mins and I'm sure most customers would be totally fine with the wait rather than dealing with the mess. I know this is harsh, but I've been going to this location for years and will not return once I use up my current dog washing card (prepaid).

It was then that I noticed the "best by" date was from May 2023. While I understand that a "best by" date is just a guideline, two years past that date is quite excessive. I called the store to request an exchange but was told "NO" due to their 30-day policy, which I understand. However, the "manager" repeatedly informed me that seasonings don't expire; they just lose their smell, potency, and flavor. He emphasized multiple times that they were not "expired." Having cooked for over 20 years, I know what happens to seasonings past their prime. When they lose their intended qualities, I typically discard them as they no longer serve their purpose. So, I ask you this: What do you buy seasonings for? The smell? The flavor? The potency? All of these attributes diminish over time. The fact that this store sells products with dates from two years ago is quite concerning. Since the manager offered no assistance, I will be leaving reviews to inform the public that this location sells outdated products and is inflexible with their "policy."

Coming in, having to show the card is outdated because Sam's Club has proven it just is not necessary. Then leaving costco? it's like everyone is a suspected criminal. It's so annoying, at Sam's Club it's much smoother because the door person gets a notification of people's items so he/she can discern quickly and people can pass right through. Come on Costco, get with the times already!
