We needed shovels to help get some friends out of the snow that live in Big Bear. They had a great selection of shovels that aren't for snow but work great. I think they were called feed bin? Or stall shovels? Staff was very helpful and walked us to the section. It's nice when you can escorted to the section so you don't miss it. Also help your customer make the purchase. It's very valuable from a management point of view that your associates are going all the way with helping the customer cross the finish line with the product they came to purchase. read more

After browsing their website, I wanted to give it a try on same day delivery option. There is a delivery fee(I think it was pretty reasonable considering the drive)?but the cost of 50 pound feed was much better than the store near by so if I get 4 bags the difference will be set off the delivery fee. In addition, where I used to shop there was only 1-2 selections while Tractor supply has much more variety to choose from, including my usual brand, Purina. Placed an order around 1:30 pm and got a call at 2:30 pm to notify me it is on the way. Jeff, who made the delivery to my house was courteous and also gave some recommendations for future try of other feed. Probably had the grouchiest encounter with a lady at the register. I always shop here and now don't think I will. Her sign said "register closed" so I went to the other register. She then called Next in line, so went. I mentioned the sign, she rudely snapped back with, "yeah well I'm open." "Ok I said even for the next people in line?" She glared at me and said, "yeah." I purchased a safe when the delivery guy showed up he dropped it from the top of the truck and damaged it .. tractor supply said they would send another one well when it got here it was the same exact safe they damaged the first time all they did is cover it with some cardboard and plastic wrap so I had them take it back called customer service again and tractor supply once again said they would send a brand new safe well the third time they brought me the same exact safe re wrapped in different cardboard and plastic wrap trying to conceal the damage after calling tractor supply again they said they are gonna refund my money since it's such a problem delivering to my house ...horrible customer service I purchased this on November 27th it s now December 20th and I will not get my refund in time to get my family member a new Christmas gift in time read more

ON-LINE Purchase of Porter Cable 24 Gallon Oil cooled Compressor. I looked at this for a couple of weeks before making the purchase. I COULD have ordered it and picked it up at the store - but it's an hour drive each way and only 65 clams to have it delivered - so I took the lazy way out. Okay so I ordered it on line, and got some notice about it could be same-day delivery, so I thought it would be coming on a truck from the store. Well apparently it came on a truck from OMAHA, I think. When it arrived I had the driveway cleared too I could have them roll it to the back patio. Instead they dropped it off on the porch and left before I knew it was there. After nine PM. So my wife and I had to drag it into the living room. The box was trashed, torn and broken. It was even open in small spots where you could see in. So the next day I rolled it back to the shop and opened it up. Things were in disarray.The cap for the air intake was loose in the box, etc. it was a mess. I put together what was in the box and added the oil and it worked, so I guess that's okay. The poor compressor obviously went through some punishment in route. The box is a heavy duty box and there's no way you could trash a box like that without doing something to the contents.The weight is over 100 pounds. If I ever need a new compressor again - I will DEFINITELY pick it up myself. read more

ZERO STARS WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR THIS Tractor Supply. I'll save any future customer time and frustration. If you ever call this TS to ask for any product information, don't count on any help from the staff here. You're bothering them. Example I called because I raise a certainly breed of dog. I played like I had no idea what I was doing, asking the first person, a female, if she knew what was in the shots? Hold on let me check. Next thing a few minutes later a young man gets on the line and I ask him whats in the shots his response is "you mean who makes it?" Nope what the difference between the puppy and the 10 in 1. This young man has no idea what he was talking about. Here's the issue this was ongoing issue with this store for the last 4 years I've spent WAYYYYYY TOOOO MUCH MONEY AT THIS TS. To be fair I called 3 other places who carry shots. TS ya all need to teach these "professional tennis shoe wearers" what customer service really is. If you would like a perfect example go to Kahoots those guys know what Customer Service is. I wont spend another penny at this location. And I spend 200-500 everytime I go to Kahoots. Why because they show they actually care about the customer and take the time to learn. Whoever does the hiring at TS needs to learn how and who to hire in a farm friendly town. read more

Three stars cause they had what I need. 5 stars to the cashiers who did their best. No Stars to Travis the "manager", who, after sending me to the cashier, sent me back to "her manager". Now, instead of saying "Im sorry i've got 4 other customers waiting let me get you someone, he got huffy and then shoved me off on someone else who had NO idea what we were looking for. Now, retail management is often juggling 15 balls at once, but NEVER should a customer be bounced more than once. I needed some parts for a 1949 Ford 8n tractor and they had the parts in stock and held them for me. I drove down from the high desert to pick up the parts and on my way down ended up buying a puppy. I called to see if they are pet friendly and they are. Just make sure you have a leash and they offer treats to your pets. I was happy to see that they had my parts sitting on the front counter with my name on it. I walked around the store and was about to buy my puppy his shots. I was happy to get them and even a cute leash for him. The service was friendly and fast. I felt welcomed and never rushed. They are currently building a tractor supply in Hesperia due to open after the first of the year. I am happy about that because they sale a lot of items I need. read more

Literally, I don't know how this place can find the rudest employees possible. I'm not sure if that's a requirement for employment at this store, or just happenstance, but guaranteed, if you want someone at the register who apparently had their Cheerios peed in at breakfast and is taking it out on the rest of the world - this is your store! Or, if you'd like to order dog kennels or chicken coops, and you'd like to get some extremely gnarly attitude with your side of "customer service," I definitely recommend giving the Norco TSC a try! Horrible service. Went in, everyone was just standing around looking in a bad mood. I grab a bag of meal worms ($29.99) that were on sale and guinea pig treats ($5.99). Multiple were on the rack so I thought that the items on there were the prices listed above. Went up to the register. $50 for mealworm! Told her they were on sale and she said no the blue bag, (held up the whole line so I could go back and check) went to go check for the blue bag and there was none whatsoever, not in different sizes or anything. Took a pic and told her that it was the correct brand and size of bag she said well it's still $50. I told her to take it off and she rolled her eyes. Checked my receipt and the guinea pig treats were $10.49! I hadn't even left the front door, went back to her and she said I had to wait in line again for a return. I went and check the treats, none were on the right rack, asked another rude older lady if she could do a return and she said no. So I went and stood in line behind over 10 people. Right after the older lady said no about the return she went to help at the cash register and helped a different person! Had to wait in line to return. I told the same lady who checked me out that the store was very disorganized and prices should be where the items are. Destiny the checker said nothing to me, no apology, no we will reorganize it, nothing all she did was throw down a receipt and pen and said sign this. Most of the workers didn't even have their masks on right anyway. Their noses were uncovered and they were all huffy and unhelpful. This happened Sunday at noon. read more

I have come here 2 times and I love the store. They have great stuff and cheap prices. I have a bunny and I use an eqiune pine pellets. They cost only $6/40lb. They have hay, small pets stuff, food, toys etc. Cheaper than Petsmart. Stuff is friendly. read more

This store has very little if any hardware selection. It's like they run out and never replenish the stock. I preorder my dog and cat food online which isn't worth the savings. I end up waiting at least 15-20 minutes just to pick up my prepaid order at the back counters when it's quicker to grab it off the shelf and pay for it at the register. The shift manager was helping a customer who wanted a donation and she walked to the front check out station and never returned to assist me.... just left me waiting there. A nice gentlemen named Alex came over and finally tried to help me but I still wasn't able to get my order. Service here is usually decent. read more

First time visiting this store last weekend looking for some cat and dog supplies. They have limited inventory compared to your PetSmart's or Petco but their prices are better. In terms of service, not too busy for a Saturday morning. Staff seemed friendly though I didn't really interact with them much. There was only one cashier but the check out line moved fairly fast. This is the first time I have ever been in a tractor supply store. It is a store for the rural minded. They have everything a cowboy or cowgirl could possibly need. Some items I have never seen in a store before. For instance, they have many types of vitamins for cows, sheep, goats, etc. I even found cow magnets??? They also have an extensive western clothing selection. It is like a hardware store for people in rural areas or for urban people like me. I found some seeds and planting mixture for my garden here. hopefully everything grows and my dog doesn't eat the profits of my garden. She has done this before, so I'll be watching her. read more

She looked us up and down and said "no" then I proceeded to ask if she knew of a location that had one and she was so snappy and rude and said " look online". I work in customer service and I understand having rough days but you can tell this woman was judging and not friendly. I will never come here again. Management do better. read more

I've been purchasing feed here for my horses, chicken and cats since they opened. It's not close by so I stop in while running other errands and buy enough to get my by a while. I don't recall ever returning anything but the last time I bought cat food I switched formulas to try and get our older cats to keep weight better. Unfortunately, they wouldn't hardly touch it and I've had put them on a cheap grocery store food because they started to drop weight from not eating. By the time I got the food into a bag to return and made it down to the store (again, not close by and I'm a single mom of two so life is a bit busy and a bad batch of cat food wasn't priority) they said it was past 30 days and they couldn't do anything. I'm really irritated after all the money I've spent here supporting them. I've been displeased with their customer service in the past when calling in looking for things but today takes the cake and I'll take my business elsewhere if they can't appreciate it enough to switch out some cat food. read more

They scheduled to deliver on Aug 16th but did not then again scheduled for Aug 22nd but did not. I called customer service and they said the product is missing somewhere on the way. Really!
