WTF then I call and they say they're out of the product! I ordered on December 8th! got here on the 15 ... the wrong item ...when I call they tell me they're sold out!! unacceptable!!!!!! I've been purchasing feed here for my horses, chicken and cats since they opened. It's not close by so I stop in while running other errands and buy enough to get my by a while. I don't recall ever returning anything but the last time I bought cat food I switched formulas to try and get our older cats to keep weight better. Unfortunately, they wouldn't hardly touch it and I've had put them on a cheap grocery store food because they started to drop weight from not eating. By the time I got the food into a bag to return and made it down to the store (again, not close by and I'm a single mom of two so life is a bit busy and a bad batch of cat food wasn't priority) they said it was past 30 days and they couldn't do anything. I'm really irritated after all the money I've spent here supporting them. I've been displeased with their customer service in the past when calling in looking for things but today takes the cake and I'll take my business elsewhere if they can't appreciate it enough to switch out some cat food. read more

Love this place! Employees are friendly, helpful and efficient. I buy oxbow hay and tractor supply pine pellet bedding here for my rabbits. I only wish they had more oxbow rabbit products on the shelves, it seems they have multiple oxbow products online that are not out on the shelves so you might have to ask an employee to bring something out from the back but the customer service here is excellent! read more

Fantastic and prompt service,this is the way it was in the 1930's and 1950's,you are always greeted,you are always offered help and guidance,they always load merchandise for you,oh I so wish it was like this everywhere I shop.We own several cats and buy the pine pellets for their litter boxes here,only about $6.00 for a 40 pound bag,which works out to about .16 cents a pound versus .52 cents for newspaper pellets,will continue to shop here. read more

Great store they have what you need and more. Placed an online order for in store pick up. Order was cancelled, So I called. They were very confused to what was going on. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes no one came back to help. I called again and finally talked with someone and they were telling me their system isn't working and I should come into the store and pay for it but my card was charged and didn't want to pay for something close to 500 bucks when that money is already taken out. I got charged for my purchase that was canceled they assured me that isn't supposed to happen. It's Tuesday now and they money is gone ~$500 so now I have spend my morning with their customer support trying to get a refund. I did end up buying the item with my CC but their online price was cheaper in store I showed them the invoice from the cancelled order and would not honor it because they told me "the website is different from the store" that makes no sense it's the same company, How can it be different ?? *update* Still haven't received my money back from Tractor Supply $500!!! I keep calling and they are just giving me the run around extremely frustrated!! read more

I was RX when this business opened as it appeared I could get all supplies for my farm animals Here is my complaint, they don't stock their shelves! I have to ask and 9 times out of 10 it's in the back. The staff is friendly and helpful, but I am frustrated that product is in the back and not on the shelf. Saturday I went in to get a product and they were out. Staff told me it should be in Tuesday or Wednesday. I went back Friday and the product I wanted was not in. I asked did someone forget to order it and was told they don't place the orders. Either someone in the main office is not taking care of business or someone in the Norco store isn't updating their inventory. read more

I have been in here 3 times in the last 2 months and in each time my debit carb was refused. I do not know what system they rely on for checking but it is flawed . Each time there was more than an adequate amount to cover the purchases. I will not be back until they can fix this annoying problem. I will buy from the local feed store which is actually closer than The Tractor supply co. I have no problem with their products or service, just the annoying inconvenience of trying to come up the cash after being denied a purchase using my debit card. I'm a handyman here in the area that TSC is in. Not only is the wide selection great, but having a one stop shop to go to is so, well.... Handy!! They don't have everything, but they sure do cover a lot of the basics, and the service is always above and beyond. Anyone that has a negative review of this location clearly hasn't shopped there more than once, and likely is the customer that just can't be satisfied. The employees never stop helping, and they even mostly know me by name. They have stolen my business from the other small hardware store in town that is lacking in those departments. Went into store this morning. State guidelines still call for covering your mouth and nose during this pandemic. Clerk not only wasn't wearing a mask, she was right up against the customer in front of me while scanning the larger items in their cart. Asked the clerk about her lack of mask and she advised me that they didn't have to wear them anymore. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I won't be back. I needed welded wire ASAP to use on my horses pen. I went there and found exactly what I needed and they even delivered it to my barn. If you are a business, then I would seek to take your business elsewhere. Tractor Supply would not take our Credit Card over the phone or our Company Check in person. No one at Tractor Supply did a thing to work to make this sale. This was a nearly $4000 purchase. Our company has excellent credit, yet Tractor Supply did not do anything to verify this. Instead they simply lost the sale. And since there are other retailers in the area wanting our business, I saw no need to deal with this company any further. As a business man myself, I don't like losing business. Tractor Supply has lost our business before we could even start. This could have been a long term situation. We only own and manage 7 apartment communities near their location. They must not have needed our business. read more

Lost a customer. Chainsaw on sale Memorial Day weekend. Called store the night before to confirm in stock. Checked online in morning before they opened, and it said was in stock at this store. Drove 45 minutes and arrived before they opened in am. Guess what, not in stock. Clerk even called someone and asked. Only one they had was bviously used and returned, and clerk offered additional discount. I did not want one someone had returned for an unknown reason. Visited the store was excited to visit a tractor supply in town.. There are many farm equipment/feed stores in this town so I was excited and the possibility of them having a larger selection of items under one roof. Totally bad experience the Manager on duty was extremely rude.. I first watched him be rude to a customer trying to exchange an item and then when I went to make a large purchase of multiple items well over $1,000 and tried to use a coupon they have posted he would not honor it. Even though it had the company logo showed it was good until January 13th. He was extremely rude about it and said he didn't have to honor it. It was a 20% off coupon on a specific item I was purchasing. I am sorry but if you are going to stay open in a town with many other ranch equipment providers you need to learn some customer service.. Being rude to multiple people and not honoring your stores posted coupons, even after your company information and logo was verified with all the detail that it was valid is just plain bad business. After being treated so horribly by the Manager on staff I simply requested that they would need to put all the items back and I would not complete my purchase at this store.. Pretty bad example of a manager to turn away someone spending so much in front of a full line of customers right after they treated another customer horribly...I wouldn't be surprised if they lost multiple customers from wanting to return to this store. The Manager should not remain employed in a customer service industry if they can't be respectful and decent to other human beings. The company should do what they can to rectify the situation and honor their published coupons. If you don't honor your coupons then a sign needs to be placed on the door for false advertising and that they don't honor the coupons they publish, they are simply marketing it's to get you in the door.. read more

The manager wouldn't honor a store coupon, yes, their own store coupon which was clearly not expired and did not have exclusions! Had the nerve to say that it was at his discretion. People like this shouldn't be managers. He clearly had no idea about what good customer service is and not only that, he probably needed good upbringing. Never going to this location again even if I had to drive further. On 9/28/18, I purchased some pet supplies from Tractor Supply online. When prompted by the Tractor Supply site for my preferred payment option, I clicked "PayPal Credit." The payment was confirmed & I received a confirmation. I then went to PayPal to check & saw that Tractor Supply had NOT charged my purchase to my PayPal Credit but had charged it to my PayPal balance! I called PayPal who said the error was Tractor Supply's & had to be corrected by them. So I contacted Tractor Supply. The TS rep said they would have to look into it and call me back. The rep could not be sure when I would receive a call. He suggested that I may have clicked on the wrong button when I made my purchase. I asked if I could just cancel the order to prevent an overdraft in my bank account. The rep said I would have to go through the return process of picking up the item & returning it. So I drove to Tractor Supply & asked the clerk to cancel the items-which he did. But I still needed the items. So, in front of the clerk, I re-ordered the items, making 100% sure that I clicked the "PayPal Credit" button. The transaction went through; I took my items and left the store. But by the time I got home, I had an email notification from my bank that my account was overdrawn because AGAIN, Tractor Supply charged the purchase to my PayPal balance and NOT my PayPal Credit account. And I was charged a $33 overdraft fee! I called Tractor Supply again, explained the problem again, and was told that my problem would have to be referred to the finance department & I would get a callback. The representative refused to transfer me to the finance department, saying she did not have a phone number for them. I waited several days & did not get a callback. On Monday, I finally called Tractor Supply again & was told by the rep that the finance department was closed over the weekend and they would probably get to it by Tuesday. I was never called back - not ever. Meanwhile, I had to pay a $33 overdraft fee to my bank as a result of Tractor Supply's error. Poor service or selling a poor product is bad but having a computer system that charges the wrong customer account is outrageous and a serious breach of public trust. I will be pursuing this with both PayPal and the Better Business Bureau. Needless to say, I will never again do business with Tractor Supply. read more

First person i saw i asked her about the dog kennel and man she was rude , she said they were out of stock before even looking up the SKU #. I had to tell her that i called before driving there and was told that the dog kennel was available and that they had 3 in stock. Irresponsible & dishonest employee. Called to ask for the vendor # that's written on a Tractor Supply product that they sold in store, which was crucial for whether I can use the product or not. He answered very quickly as if he didn't even go to the floor to check. Odd. So I drove 30 miles to store same day and saw for myself that the employee had indeed lied and the vendor # on the product packaging that they had is completely different. Long story short, I called Tractor Supply actual customer service line, gave them the real vendor #, and found out I can't use that vendor's product. I drove 1.5 hr round trip for no reason because a store employee decided to lie instead of walking a couple of feet (product was piled in middle of store) to check. read more

Came in this morning looking for a specialty food for my dog he has severe allergies and can only have one type of food they didn't have any on shelf so I went up front and asked if they had anymore I wouldn't even know where to find it and I was totally out and could not get the big bag at the moment . I needed the 8 lb bag. I went to back stock room and they didn't have any on the shelf Chris is the one who helped me he was super polite greeted me with a smile looked all over and even checked outside on the truck for my small bag of dog food for my dog. He came back with a bag!! I was so happy and he even gave my dog some scratches. This is what customer service is all about . I love this store for this reason. The "greeter" & cashier, Ash, has got to be one of the most miserable, rude, unfriendly individuals I have EVER come across. She made my first visit so unpleasant that I will NEVER shop here again. I've dealt with horrible customer service before but this was on a completely different level. I should have known to be wary of this place when I noticed the parking lot was empty when I pulled up. I have visited the store twice. Are utilized their online order and pick up in store app. I went in to check on it a week and a half later, I went to the order desk and they told me they couldn't look it up by my name as they have over 140 special orders. She told me to come back with the orders information. Very short and abrupt. I went in three days later with the order information. They told me they didn't need the order number or info, just give her my name. WHAT??? I thought he couldn't look it up that way?. I picked it up, they told me to go to the cashier to ring it up even though they had a register right there at the customer service desk. There were 16 people in line and only one cashier. There were five other employees all standing around talking to his charger and didn't open another register, or offer to help. Very inconsiderate of your customers. On top of that, four of the people I saw I had no mask at all for Covid 19 protections Tom nor did they police anybody in the store for a mask it is cold. I was never set foot in the store again. It is absolutely horrible experience all the way around both times I went. Never again. read more
