This review is embarrassingly way over due. Our family has worked with Rarin and their affiliates on two occasions. The first was over two years ago, when we had recently relocate to Norco. We had just obtained our first farm animals and wanted adequate shelter. We were very happy with the cost and service. About a year later due to high winds, we issue with the enclosure and they quickly came out to fix it. Fast forward to 2024, many, many farm animals later and we wanted a bigger, nicer area since we had acquired mini horse, mini donkeys, pigs. I had reached out to a few companties, with what I wanted the lowest quote I recieved was 55k. I ended up working with Debbie and her husband Steve (he is not part of Rarin however is amazing with the installation aspect, highly recommend). We took a concept that Rarin has on their site and changed it up to make it what I was looking for. It came out amazing!!!. When we first installed we had neighbors come over and everyone loved how great it looks. Fast forward 6 mths later and my animals & I greatly appreciate the service & cost. Highly recommend, great communication. Overall very quick. Within 4 weeks we had planned our bigger installation and had it installed. read more

Went on line to order a horse corral. There was a message in the shopping cart to call the store for information about the delivery fee and if its even in stock and the delivery date. So, I called their phone number and I got an answering machine. Called back 3 more times and no one answers the phone. So, of course I cancelled the order because the order is incomplete without a delivery fee and date. I did take note of the fact that these people are rude and arrogant and not the type of people I would want to due business with. read more

We had a great experience with Rarin' to Go. Their office was friendly and communicative. Materials arrived as we expected, and in a timely manner despite some last-minute changes on our end. They connected us with a local installer name, Steve Vaughn with Shelter My Horses. It was an excellent recommendation! Product was fine, service was terrible. I am setting up new horse ranch. Ordered over $15k worth of product, including 96 feet x 36 feet mare motel. 1) They delivered 64 pieces of sheet metal roofing, 3'x18' in a stack. Some we saw had dents but we accepted them anyway. After they left when it was being constructed, we found one in the middle had a hole in it! I called Rarin they said they'd allow me to buy a replacement at a small discount but still have to pay a $200 delivery charge! They do not stand behind their product. And owner was very difficult - quick to blame everyone else. 2) The Mare Motel they sell doesn't come with ANY directions. Total delivery was over 140 components (supports, roofing, etc..) and over 1,000 screws! Didn't know there were no instructions until it was delivered. Contractor called them to ask questions but they didn't provide any help. Managed to do a great job putting it together but when all was said and done, the roofing panels didn't quite cover the entire 96'. Probably because our contractor wasn't able to magically read the mind of whoever at Rarin decided no instructions were needed. And that was our fault - at least according to the owner. Offered to sell us a replacement piece at a small discount (so kind!) and have to pay the $200+ delivery charge! And for the record, I even offered to wait until next time they had a delivery in my area and go and meet the driver to pickup the parts but they were totally inflexible. Also they will say that they have to pay the driver, which is probably true, but also not my problem. Their business model shouldn't become my headache. I've never spent this much $$ and gotten such poor service! I can't even imagine how they'd treat you if you were placing small orders. *****After I posted this review, here's a text I got from the owner**** "Just so you damage to my company I can hire a lawyer for slander and damages that you may cause when you put it out on the yelp site. It's threatening harm to our company and its one sided if you post don't be surprised if you get court papers in the mail look at our terms and agreement. I wish I could give something lower (oh well). Service was lousy. Attitude was lousy. Product was so-so. The staff was friendlier than the manager/owner I asked to speak to. I'm putting together a ranch from scratch (just bought myself a 42-acre spread) and am going to spend a lot on new round pen, mare motel, corrals, pasture, arena, etc. But not with these guys. I'm going to buy from Tractor Supply and Cactus Corrals (and probably a little bit from Home Depot too!). They have better products AND better attitude. And Cactus Corrals is cheaper in some instances, so I recommend go with them and tell these guys to do some major reflection on how they treat customers--you're NOT the only game in town. read more

Warning: avoid doing business with these criminally rude and unhelpful people. The incompetence, lack of care and conscientiousness, let alone customer service, and anything like decent manners is breathtaking. More than once my wife and I have looked at each other while dealing with these people who've abused, shaken our heads and just said: "Wow, these folks just weren't raised right." We're polite and generally kind horse people who spend a lot of money at the establishments here in "Horse Country" Sixth street, Norco (including thousands with Rarin' to G), and our experience is that most everyone in town we've ever dealt with have been really good, honest, hardworking, helpful, and the kind of people who bend over backwards to earn and keep your business. You know, kind of old fashioned, good American values on display. Not these people. They behave in shameful ways and are awful to deal with. read more

I purchased 2ea. 8' Park Style Hitching Posts and much to my surprised they were bent which wasn't noticed until the day they were set in the ground in concrete. The legs are closer together towards the bottom. They look very tacky next to an existing hitching post where the legs are perfectly vertical. I spoke to Randy about this after the posts were set and he said; "they need to be adjusted before they are set". He also said; "What some contractors do it set one leg in concrete, let it dry, then use a come-a-long to increase the spacing between the 2 legs to where they are straight". Well that wasn't possible the day the posts were set in the ground because the concrete truck couldn't hang around while the concrete set. His answer to this was; "Most contractors have a vice on their truck where one of post legs can be clamped onto and then pulled out with a winch or come-a-long attached to the other leg." My contractor didn't have a vice on his truck, besides there was no place on my property where to attach the other end of the come-a-long. How much can the post legs be bent out without over-bending and damaging them? Randy or an employee should be telling their customers that these types of Hitching Posts will need to be adjusted before they are set in the ground. It's too late now to fix mine because I'm sure Rarin' To Go isn't going to give me my money back (or even a portion of it) so I can pay the contractor to remove and re-set the posts. One other thing, I also purchased a large Wash Rack from them too. It wasn't bent and was perfectly straight. Seems kinda strange there's no adjustment necessary for this but the Hitching Post there is. Also, if I would purchase pipe railing from them, would I have to adjust all of it too because its bent? I hope not. I believe the supplier they purchase these from doesn't use a jig or doesn't know how to operate a pipe bender. read more

So I used these guys in the past for just one panel we decide to try them again . About the price it reflects the quality of there product . High quality is not cheap and cheap is not high quality . About the service well after about 10 times of me calling to ask questions their staff stayed polite and professional , They helped me pick out the right stall I needed , plus I need to mention I pulled the last minute game with them I need it tomorrow , they stayed professional and delivered the stall when I needed them . I would do this location to look at a few horse shelters I was helped by gentleman (can't recall his name :/ long hair and a hat) he was more than helpful and very easy to work with. I had many questions and he had an answer to all of them plus with the joke along with it it was a very good experience even though I didn't end up purchasing anything that day I will definitely be returning when I need some horse corral or shelter supplies! read more

I have bought stuff from this place and have not had a problem not until I needed to exchange something then they were like to bad for you!! I got 2 small goat feeders and planned on buying 8 more for my ponies though it might keep the hay in better then the horse feeder. I fed them in them once and it was to hard for them so I took them out and called to see if I could exchange them for the mini feeder and I would buy more. They told me they wouldn't do it. HAW they say they offer wonderful customer service...that's a JOKE! The older man was short with me when asked if the gate was all I was interested in. Little did he know I was "shopping" for a $100,000 facility we are building. He did not even let me get out of the car, and snapped "you can't haul it in that car". A younger blonde woman interceded, but was almost as unhelpful as him with quite a sneer. We had heard reviews of a good inventory, but, horrible people and not so good prices. With all that said, and done, I would not even buy a gate none less spend the $100K. Those nasty people should close. Not reflective of Norco or good business practice. read more

Not sure why I keep ordering stalls from these people. They NEVER call back when they are supposed to, you wait on hold forever and they are just unprofessional. I ordered a stall on Saturday and this is Wednesday. They were supposed to call me back on Monday and then again today. Told them I had to have the stall by Thursday since that's they day we have help to put it up and our new horse will be here on Friday. Last time I order from them. There is no excuse. Do not give this place your business! My wife and I purchased stalls from this business on Monday and paid to have them delivered immediately. Monday came and went with no delivery. Tuesday and Wednesday the same. No returned calls and absolutely 0 for customer service. Thursday, I finally got someone to answer the phone and told them to cancel my order and refund my money. She tells me that she was not able to refund me, and her boss was out at lunch. She said she would call back when he returned and process my request. An hour and a half later I hear a crashing noise in my driveway and look out to see the owner , Randy, dropping the stalls in my driveway. I run outside to tell him to stop and he drove away. I call the office and tell them to refund my money and come pick up the stalls. She told me she would call me back and hung up. A few minutes later Randy calls me and literally says "hey guy, I don't know what you want a refund for I just dropped your stalls off so get over it." I told him out of principle to come pick up his stalls and I wanted a full refund. He refused to give me a refund and told me that he wouldn't send a crew out to pick up the stalls either. Plus ALL OF THE STALL PANELS WERE BENT. I will be filing a lawsuit to get my money back. read more

Stay away from doing business with this company. On Friday late afternoon - I placed a stock order for delivery for the following Tuesday. Saturday early am I called to cancel the order. They had already billed my credit card and told me there would be a 15% restock fee which is stated on their invoice. I never signed anything and was never told of their terms. They sent me the invoice after the fact. I had to cancel the order because I had to leave town on business. This first phase order for horse corral panels was my 1st phase of many. The owner refused to credit the 15%. Understand I cancelled this stock order 18 hours after placing the order and 4 days before scheduled delivery. Very difficult people to do business with. Fortunately I placed the stock order with my credit card. Spoke with my credit card company and they reassured me this company has no grounds to stand on. They lost a customer who was ready to spend thousands of dollars expanding our horse facilities. Who does business like this - can't imagine they get many repeat customers. Rarin To Go does not qualify for even one star.. I have never been so frustrated dealing with a company and owner. read more
