I was so happy when the Tractor Supply opened in our neighborhood and it's really been handy to get things mostly for my employer who owns a lot of animals. On the flipside, I wish that they would train the people that work at the register better Yesterday I came in for an exchange and the young man just said oh it's an even exchange just take it. I've had years in retail, so I know this is not really how they want merchandise treated. They were different sizes different colors. It screws up the inventory. And today I am asked to return two items and I find the receipt and she is struggling because he didn't do the exchange properly so the halter that I brought back wasn't on the receipt and then also she couldn't find one of the items on the receipt so she was starting to tell me how I couldn't return it and I had to actually point out the item on the receipt to her so that I could get a refund for my boss At this point, you might as well have self check out and self exchange lol There was one woman who knew everything, but she probably burnt out and quit because she was kind of intense to deal with I never know who's the manager there, but I thought that woman was They have some really great clearance prices and I enjoy shopping here more than Petco Prices for Dog and cat things are better For my boss, we've probably spent thousands here read more

First time at their dog washing station in RiversideCA and for $10 it's a good deal. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They have several shampoo options to choose from. Nothing fancy but it works. All was well until a Malinois was trying to enter the station. Clearly not trained and the owner was having a difficult time controlling it. Seriously thought it would attack my dog. Ended up leaving with a half dry husky that I had to finish drying at home. Did call them to see if this was common since this was my first visit there. The lady was super apologetic and assured me that owner was told not to bring her dog back. It was a bit unnerving and unexpected. What surprised me even more was that they didn't even offer to have our next wash free or something! Not fantastic customer service. read more

I purchased a welder from this place. Box was open wasn't checked properly by the people that work there I get to work set the welder up. It has been used and returned. The arc welding stinger was used in all burned up so I went in Tuesday because I had spoken to one of the managers, and she said that she would offer a discount to offset the machine being used. I get there and I talk to Tina. I guess she's a traveling store manager. I'm talking to her the whole time she's looking at me all weird all crooked and I'm telling her who I spoke to and I just was met with resistance so finally she figures everything out I'm being helped by one of the other employees actually two of them their tap would not work so I had to run home grab my debit card and come back while when I left, she had told some of her employees that I was a scammer so from what I gathered from this whole interaction from Tina, she profiled me and then ran around the store telling the employees that I was a scammer completely unacceptable unprofessional and straight up disrespectful. I work hard for my money and to go spend $1300 at this location and to come back and get treated like I'm some scum off the street or a "" scammer all in all very unacceptable very disappointed in this location specially with spending $1300!!!! I have been calling tractor supply for 5 days 3 times a day to see in they have gotten baby chicks. The answer was No No No ,No No, and No Then I drove by one of the tractor supplies this evening that I have been calling three times a day for five days. And there's a huge sign that says. Chicks Here!!!! So I called them to see if they had chicks immediately as I was making a U-turn to go inside. And a woman answered and she responded to me. No, we do not have baby chicks. I love your store in Lake Elsinore and I spend a lot of money there. That being said, on September 21, I again went to buy numerous items and had the same unfriendly cashier. No bags!!!! Came in to purchase 3 stall mats, & the STORE MANAGER, TORREY, refused to sell me 3/80. I had came in to purchase the mats the day prior and said I'd return the next day, however she wouldn't keep her word to hold them for me, but would keep her word for the other commercial customer who would purchase all of them. Purchased 8 chicks that were labeled as "silkies". Not one single bird was a Silkie, instead they're 8 random bantam chicks. Salesman assured me they were in fact Silkie chicks. I called to ask about the self serve dog wash station. The person who answered the phone was very nice and told me what it included. I asked if there was a wait or a line and they said no. So I ran over there real quick and they said the dog wash was closed. The person I talked to at the register said they usually closed the dog wash an hour before they close to sanitize. It says on their website that they sanitize after each dog right now cause of covid. But their website doesn't say they close the dog wash an hour before. Today they close at 8pm. But Yelp says they close at 9pm. It was 6:35 when I was taking to the person at the register when I had arrived there. So they didn't let me use the dog wash even though it was 25 mins before they usually close it. read more

Truly the greatest. I have a very large dog that does not fit in the bathtub anymore to get a bath. The self service dog wash is single handedly the reason I will continue coming back. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful as well which is always a huge plus. read more

The first time I went in a month or so ago, the customer service was great! The employees kept asking if I needed help and if I was good, and they were very respectful. When I needed help and asked they walked with me and helped me find the items I needed, and at the end they made sure I had everything I needed and were polite. However, the second time I went in today, I got a different experience, and it wasn't the best. I walked in and looked around for rat food. I went to the section where I remembered it was and looked for it but it wasn't there so I looked around the store for an employee who would be walking around but didn't find anyone, I understand they may have been low on staff at the time or were busy with other things. That was okay, but went I went towards the front I asked an employee where the rat food was and they pointed towards the back of the store. I told them that I looked their already and was thinking they would walk there with me, but they asked someone else and talked to me again saying the same thing, that it was at the back near the pet wash. I just nodded and went back there and looked again, couldn't find it. I was walking back and no one asked if I was doing okay, the same person was there when I walked out and I had nothing in my hands, they didn't even ask if I had what I needed. I was just ignored, no greeting, no goodbye, no checking in. I did not expect the same experience as last time, but I wasn't expecting to be ignored like that and have barely any help. So far I think the good outweighs the bad, the first time was quite pleasant but the second time was just disappointing, I just ended up wasting my time and returning to my car with nothing. read more

We were excited to come and get a big dog kennel and left with a refund and no kennel due to the poorest customer service from the assistant manager Jason. He didn't help us from the get go and attempted to multi-task by sending us outside to look at damaged kennels while he continued to be on his phone. He then told us that there are no deliveries on the weekends which differed from what another employee said and their sign up in the front and then declined to sell us the display kennel after finding out that all the ones in the back were dented and had a SOLD sign. The actual manager was contacted who said we could take the model kennel but by this time we had already invested about 2 hours of our time not to mention the trouble of having to find a truck to drive 1/2 mile to our home. We got a gift certificate to Tractor Supply this Christmas and prior to that had never heard of this store. What a treat! They have everything here. It reminded me of Orchard Hardware, but on steroids. We ended up getting some shirts, but they have most of what you'd find in a hardware store, plus clothing, generators, bird food, dog food, stuff for horses, etc. Anything you might want in a rural or outdoor setting. This is my neighborhood tractor supply and Cheyanne is always up front when I come in. She's very nice and helpful. She knows me by name now so when I walk in she greets me. One time I couldn't find an item I was looking for, and when I was checking out she asked if I had found everything I came in for. I ordered a horse watering trough online for curbside pick up. I needed it for pond fish that had outgrown their current home. The curbside pick up process was one of the easiest I've experienced. Pulled right up to curbside pick up parking ( some places never have enough spaces allotted for that - ahem - Home Depot..) Accessed my emails clicked the button and added the color and make of my vehicle and they had it brought out before I could get out and open my back car door.
