She introduced us to the furniture designers/creators and we got to see some live work in progress-they were also friendly and awesome! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area.
