The Target app receipt showed no download code, making the card unusable. When I returned on 12/22/25, two managers refused to take ownership of what was clearly a Target system issue and repeatedly told me to call Target's 1-800 number and Nintendo instead of resolving it in-store. I had to argue and advocate for myself before they finally fixed the issue--something that should have been handled immediately. Extremely poor management, wasted time, and zero accountability. I do not recommend purchasing any gift cards from all Target locations. Target keeps adding to list why they're no longer a trusted retailer.

Deli looks great but have not sampled their offering. Over the years, I have bought gas probably a dozen times and always competitive with gas stations in more developed areas. They do the community they serve great service. Don't have to drive to Hickory, Lincolnton, Mooresville or Denver to get your provisions.

We did not have an appointment. We just happen to be in the area and decided to check out their inventory and hopefully get some guidance on how to select the items we needed for our remodel project. The young lady who helped us initially was hesitant. She had an appointment coming in in about 45 minutes and truthfully at the beginning, we were a little put off because no one seemed to take an interest in helping us. Then after we began asking questions did she realize we were going to be making some purchases that day she showed us around explained how to select style first then finish, she created a file in her system and walked us through all of the options. She was incredibly professional as it turns out and helped us with the selection of fixtures finishes, and the timeline for ordering! They have a huge selection of premium bath, kitchen and lighting fixtures. I would highly recommend stopping in -an appointment would be better- if you want expert guidance on a remodel in your home.

Not every item on display is actually available in the store for purchase. Harbor Freight is not alone in having supply chain issues. The wooden work bench that I wanted to buy for hubby wasn't available in the Statesville store. I had to drive to Harbor Freight in Winston Salem to buy it. The large tool boxes that hubby wanted to buy weren't in stock either and had to be ordered. He ordered and paid for them on October 28, and three weeks later they're not in yet. No fault of the Statesville store. We've shopped in several Harbor Freight stores, and this one is our favorite.

I feel this location/store is rather small and that could add to the messy feel at times. Despite having to pick up misplaced items or sort through the hodgepodge (mostly in the clearance section), I love to shop at any TJ Maxx to save money on brand name items, especially clothing for my son and I and shoes for me! Saving money on brand name clothing is especially important when you have teenagers that insist on being trendy or "branded" as I call it. Please note the clothing is past/previous year so all teens may not go for this! This store has plenty of brand name clothing for men, women and children but only has shoes for women. However, this is standard for TJ Maxx. I feel this location doesn't have as many big brands like The North Face, Hilfiger or my personal favorite, Lucky Brand as other locations but that could be because those items don't sell as well in our small town. Bigger brand equal bigger price tag even here at TJ Maxx! This store has a good selection of luggage and purses, as well as home goods. I have often found good buys in the home goods section. It's kind of like going on a treasure hunt of sorts! Some people like to go to yard sales, flea markets or Goodwill but I prefer TJ Maxx for my bargain scores!
