It is, however, very unfortunate that Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek does not see an issue with charging the customer $26.95 for 3 (THREE) Galliprant pain pills. That's almost $9/pill! When I asked to speak to the office manager the next morning, notes were taken and it was explained that it is always cheaper to buy in bulk - no kidding! I explained that I was very unhappy with their price gouging practices and that at this point I am simply appalled and disgusted. I was told that the office manager would get in touch with me. While I haven't heard from the office manager, I did receive a call to confirm our appointment. When I asked for our appointment to be canceled, declined to reschedule, and thanked the young lady for her help, I heard something that sounded like "ok" and then I was hung up on. Considering their unethical business practices, not only did they lose our vet business for two dogs, they lost our boarding business as well and so much more....

So I needed professionals and as a walk in, with seven tables a buzz with dogs getting buzzed and trimmed, I was taken immediately. The kisses and love and care given to my thirteen year old matriarch, set a peaceful easy feeling upon my concerned mind and hawkish eyes. Big Phil wasn't super keen on the clippers nor the shaping tool, but for an opinionated, macho, confident but defiant dog -- he went along with it quite well.. No one informed me at pickup, and the manager tried to blame it on my dog being matted, which does not justify multiple injuries. The boarding experience was just as concerning. When my dog was picked up, his belongings were disorganized, and his bed was returned soaked in dried feces. Staff admitted multiple dogs had diarrhea but never contacted me. They also said they sometimes give dogs pumpkin without notifying owners. Communication between staff and management was extremely poor, and no one seemed to know what was going on with the animals. It appears my dog may have been left in an unsanitary condition for days without proper care. The staff showed little concern or accountability, and responses felt scripted and dismissive. Overall, this facility lacks proper communication, cleanliness, and care. I will not be returning and urge others to be cautious when trusting them with their pets. I have recorded calls and photos so i do not want to see this business coming back with some weak response. My mom used them years ago and the experience was top tier. She got photos sent to her everyday, a report card saying whether he ate or didn't and if he actually played with the other animals or not. We spend our hard earn money and trust that this place is going to take care of our fur babies. Communication is key especially when dealing with animals who can not tell us what is going on. If i could leave 0 stars i would. Please do not bring your animals here i don't care if it's your last resort. I made a post on social media about it and the responses i received were out of this world. The front desk girl Danielle has absolutely no idea what is going on and the male managers response is always what do u want out of all this. Umm I want absolutely nothing from you because my dog is never coming back. I want yall to get your stuff together and take better care of the animals that are left in your care... i have contacted the owners and the appropriate people. I WILL BE TAKING THIS THE DISTANCE and i truly mean that. Sincerely a loving and caring dog owner. I need to speak up for these poor animals and let future owners know what's really going on here because it is absolutely unacceptable all across the board...

They were so patient and kind and spent 3 hours grooming her for FREE in the middle of COVID!! God bless these people.

My worries quickly disappeared as the manager Christopher picked him up and held him, gently speaking to him. Frosty was ok and did not shake. The prices are reasonable...you can pay extra for more premium services like extra attention, videos of your pet, etc.. I paid $18 extra to have the groomer on staff bathe him, trim his nails, brush his teeth. Frosty was smelling real good upon departure. The place is clean, staff friendly, has a nice outdoor area for the dogs to play. My dog's vet..Goose Creek Animal Medical Clinic, is connected to the facility so you don't have to worry if any pet emergencies should arise. Their computer system also links up to your pet's medical records at the vet's office when you register or check in. ...they have direct access to your pet's shot records, etc., cutting down on the paperwork and records you have to provide for boarding. I've brought Frosty back recently to get his nails trimmed & filed by the groomer on staff for only $10. They charge different fees for different ages, often run lower rates when they are getting more crowded, etc. You can also get a pup for the day, just to get them out of the shelter for a few hours. It was extremely hard to reach anyone on the phone, so no one confirmed my appointment or provided me with detailed day-of instructions. Unfortunately, the visit quickly became one of the hardest we've experienced as Rescue pet parents. During the exam, we were given devastating news: our beloved rescuer pet (she rescued us) has a heart murmur. Hearing this was heartbreaking and overwhelming. We were then presented with estimates exceeding $3,000 for the recommended testing and follow-up care. While we understand the importance of proper diagnostics and treatment, the emotional weight of the news, combined with the financial reality, was incredibly difficult to process in that moment. Our pet has been part of our family for over six years. She is not "just a pet" to us--she is deeply loved, cherished, and woven into our daily lives. The thought of life without her is unimaginable, and we are committed to doing everything we can to keep her healthy and comfortable for as long as possible.
