I wanted to pay ahead because I have no hands to use when I have both dogs on leashes and moving around so I left them in the car when there was one tub open. The lady told me to get my dogs to check the sizing. even though I had just been here three days in a row. I get the dogs and she give my tub to someone who walked behind me while I'm walking back in It was ridiculous. My car is in direct view of the shop.

Only negative was the cost, most I've ever spent on a regular grooming of a friendly, very well-behaved, small 9lb dog with no mats. No complaints about the groom or service, but sadly I probably won't return because of the high cost.

While there I met James Hobbs, the owner. What a great guy! He was incredibly friendly and we had a long discussion, during which time he talked about all of his customers as friends. His business offered a large building full of feed and supplies. Mr. Hobbs also told me that he provided a variety of services, including lawnmower repair. The store was in good order and it seemed like things could be found easily. And they did have plenty of those old horseshoes! I later found out that Mr. Hobbs was running for Mayor of Italy. I don't know where the man stands politically. But, he seems like a really good and trustworthy person who ran an excellent business.

It was incredible! If you're looking for garden statues, you will find something you love. They have everything from animals, gnomes, dinosaurs, aliens, flowers and all types of things. They have benches, gliders and swings that are extremely sturdy made out of hardwood. Very high quality. There is every size planter you can image. They even had wood burning stoves! The plants and trees were fantastic! They had such reasonable prices on trees. We purchased 4 trees 5 years ago from a nursery in Dallas and the trees at Roland's were bigger and at the 2021 price we paid back in the day! You can tell the employees love what they do and rally care about taking care of the plants. Everyone seemed happy and asked us several times if we needed help. If you're in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Roland's is 100% worth the drive.

As the years have gone by greed sets in and what's best for the customer (service, quality of products & loyalty) is no longer the motto. Very disappointing to see it come to this, but unfortunately, I will need to start purchasing my landscaping needs elsewhere.
