1 Star - Very Disappointing Experience…read more This evening my wife and I went into the Petco in Midlothian, TX at 7:46 PM. The store was slow, with only one customer checking out, yet the level of service was terrible. I spent about 20 minutes in the fish department and not a single employee came by to offer help. My wife asked Kevin, the night manager, if someone could assist me. He called over a young lady with burgundy hair, who told my wife, "I'll help him soon, I just need to turn off the reptile tank lights." During that time, we made eye contact multiple times, but she never acknowledged me or said a word. When she finally came over, her attitude was rushed and unfriendly. She asked, "Do you know what you want and how many?"--very much a hurry-up tone. While waiting, I noticed dead fish in multiple tanks throughout the department. Because of this, I told her never mind and decided not to buy anything. I then spoke directly to Kevin and asked what was going on. He told me they were having serious pH water issues and that the tanks should be quarantined. Yet they are still selling these sick fish. I've been a loyal customer at this location for years, but between the lack of customer service, poor attitude, and knowingly selling unhealthy fish, I've lost confidence in this store. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my pet business elsewhere. Thank you for the response. I'm requesting contact from corporate or an area/regional manager with a direct phone number or email. Calling the store number will not resolve this issue, as Kevin (the night manager involved) answered the phone when I just called. This concern goes beyond an in-store discussion, and I would appreciate escalation to the appropriate level of management.

Called on a Friday morning which the woman who answered put me immediately on hold, no problem. But…read morewhen she got back to me she made it known that they just opened and are very busy which I said that's fine, I can always call back later since her response made me feel guilty for calling during business hours. She said no, she could help me out now meanwhile she keeps giving direction to other workers rather than giving me her undivided attention. I only called to inquire about a cat grooming service and if I could make an appointment but she came back with no there's not a guarantee that if I drop him off at a scheduled appointment time that she would get to him at that time which to me is pointless to even make an appointment then. I also told her my experience at a previous place which is why we're looking for a new place and she defended that company. My cat is 5 and has been groomed since he was a kitten... he's long haired, but it seems she really didn't want my business. Would not recommend solely based on customer service and the immediate defensiveness expressed from the woman on the phone.

I asked for my dog's name to be on it as well as paw prints. A week and a half later now picking up the cake and it wasn't ready. Staff had no clue I even ordered a cake or if i paid for it. She said that she could make it right now, and made this cake within the 5 minutes I was there. While waiting for my cake to be ready, another customer came in and asked for a same-day cake and staff was more than willing to fulfill that. Finally received the cake and I can't believe this is worth $26.

They even customized a birthday cookie for my boy with no issues or an extra charge. The treats were obviously well thought out, fairly priced, and there was a lot of love put into them. First time here - loved it…read more At our 'former' groomer in Weatherford, we're used to dropping our dog off and leaving her there, pretty much all day. This is with an appointment earlier in the day. I was never happy about this. Well, no more. We're thrilled with the process at Bubbles and Bows here in our new home of Mansfield. The receptionist was super nice and helpful. They completed Tinker's groom in about 2 hours and she got to lounge in a special area with other groomed dogs afterwards. When we picked her up, she seemed to be in great spirits and not stressed. Yes, we paid a premium here vs our old place in Weatherford but we feel the stress reduction for Tinker, not waiting in a cage all day to be groomed is worth it. We've already made our next appointment.

I enjoyed the opportunity to bond with my dog while learning new skills under the guidance of the trainers. The gym is set up to be very safe and my dog was able to work on his skills amid a lot of distractions. The coolest thing is that you earn little rings as you and your dog learn master new skills. I'm really excited to start taking my dog, Henry, to obedience and agility classes regularly. We had a great time.
