However, I must note that when we adopted her she had a mild case of kennel cough. This became a problem because I have another dog in my home who is a senior. Luckily, they were both taken to the vet and were treated. I honestly wish that I would have been notified of this issue before adoption, so she could have been treated before we brought her home. Kennel cough is highly contagious so I know other dogs at the shelter must have it too, hopefully they have gotten this under control.

Prices are a bit higher than at the big box stores, but not so much that it really matters. The cashiers are always friendly and talkative. The store just has a friendly vibe. Best of all, the kid likes to go with me so she can play with the chickens. That feature compensates for higher prices right there. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the last few times I have been there, the price for an item at the cash register is higher than the shelf price. It is usually only a $1 difference or so, but it is annoying. You think you are getting one price but it turns out it is different. They need to coordinate shelf prices with prices in their database. Other than that, I am a big fan of Rooster and will continue to buy stuff here.

I told the groomer that my pup had a cyst removed 14 days ago just over her eye (the vet cleared Marley to get groomed and said it had healed " beautifully") and to "please avoid that area". The groomer did the opposite... i picked up and my poor dog couldn't open her eye. I spoke to the manager and she said that "they must have gotten some soap in her eyes". I was told by the "manager" that an and all vet bills would be covered. After an emergency vet visit and $700 later. My dog had an ulcer Over 3/4 of cornea and the vet said there was "substantial amount of soap in her eye". I call the owner either Tim or Tom and he refused to reimburse me for my vet bills and completely dodged all my Follow up calls. Shitty customer service!! if you value the health of your dog, do not take them here!!

It's the customer service of these young girls in the front office. Today I was trying to use the DIY dog wash. I wanted to pay ahead because I have no hands to use when I have both dogs on leashes and moving around so I left them in the car when there was one tub open. The lady told me to get my dogs to check the sizing. even though I had just been here three days in a row. I get the dogs and she give my tub to someone who walked behind me while I'm walking back in It was ridiculous. My car is in direct view of the shop.
