Wow! Is right when you pick up your pet from Bow Wow! Our rescue Mabel went for her first grooming yesterday and let me just say, I have not seen her more happy or more glamorous! She was smiling the whole way home to where her nose was wrinkling. Her fur feels so soft, and smells SO good! She had the de-shedding treatment and now I can pet her without hair flying off everywhere! I cannot say enough good things about the staff, they are so kind, and caring. My truck ended up having issues after dropping off my dog there and the owner, Michael, came out with one of the very sweet groomers, Tina, to help. You can stop your search for a groomer and feel confident in bringing your pet here! Mabel is the most content I've seen her since we rescued her

Today I picked up our 7 month old Min Schnauzer "Finley" from Bow-Wow! Barbers. What a WORLD of difference!! Lynn, the stylist, did an amazing job on Finley and he's a super hyper, crazy, barking puppy. She's like the dog grooming whisperer! This was only his 2nd time ever being groomed after a bad experience at another groomer left him scared, with a horrible cut and terrible customer service to me. I explained everything that happened and the store manager, owner and receptionist really went above and beyond to make his experience great today. He looks wonderful and I am beyond grateful for all the staff who took great care of him. He was happy, smelled great and looked amazing when I picked him up! Thank you all SO SO MUCH! (if anyone is wondering his front leg hair is still growing back from being shaved when he was neutered).

Not a great haircut for my babies. I am very disappointed. I thought it was a really cool looking place.

I love going to Pet Supplies Plus to purchase my fish from their aquatics department. They have…read moreexcellent customer service, dealing with Ella ,the aquatics manager and staff members Sammy and Calla have been excellent with helping to retrieve our fish with the greatest personalities. There is nothing better than having a customer service rep help with a smile on their face and a love for what they are doing ...

Tonight, February 14, 2026, my wife and I came into this location to purchase some fish. While I…read morewas waiting my turn at the fish tanks, my wife stepped away to grab some dog treats. I had clearly been standing there and even made eye contact with the employee working in that section. When it was finally my turn, another older customer walked up from around the corner. Instead of acknowledging that I was next, the employee immediately began helping her -- chatting about fish and snails and even grabbing the net to assist her. At first, I thought maybe they knew each other. But when it became obvious she was just skipping over me, I said, "Hello, do you work here?" She responded with an attitude, "Yes, why?" I explained that I had been waiting and was next. Both of them looked shocked that I even spoke up. I asked to speak with the manager, Anthony, and explained what happened. Honestly, I did not get a good feeling from that conversation either. His response was simply, "I'll speak with her." That was it. No real apology, no ownership of the situation, no attempt to make it right. As a manager, I believe you should go the extra mile to ensure customers feel valued -- especially after a poor interaction. Instead, the conversation felt stale and he quickly exited the situation. Yes, he did end up getting my fish, but that was the bare minimum. In my opinion, there should have been some small gesture -- even just a sincere apology or minor discount -- to show appreciation for our business and to ensure we return. It's already difficult to find good tropical fish options down south, but customer service like this makes it very easy to consider taking my money to one of the other pet stores nearby. Very disappointing experience overall. Update : On 2/24/26 After speaking with the manager over the phone and meeting her last Saturday 2/21/26 mid-morning, I was under the impression that some type of discount or resolution would be offered, especially since she made the effort to get my number and arrange a time to meet. I didn't expect anything extravagant, but I did expect some gesture to earn my business back. Instead, I was told about the new processes she plans to implement to ensure employees follow procedures more closely and pay better attention. While that's good to hear, those standards should have been in place from day one. Improving internal processes doesn't address my experience or rebuild my trust as a customer. Unfortunately, this situation wasn't handled in a way that makes me want to return. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I called around and no one could do it this week until I called Bark Avenue. Jay was really nice and said he would work around my schedule. He was to arrive at 10a to start the salon services. He was running late but sent me a text to let me know and arrived at 10:30a. He and his mother (his partner was ill) took care of the 3 dogs and they were not nervous or skeptical. That says a lot because these 3 have been through so much and their confidence level is way below the radar. He cleaned everything up, vacuumed and left the place clean. I was able to use the Yelp deal so it only cost me $120 for the 3 dogs, and that included de-shedding for 2 of them (where others wanted to charge up to an additional $25). I would definitely have Jay back to take care of my dog and any other fosters I may have. Thanks, Jay and Mom!

He asked me to text him confirming the appointment time and my address, which I did. Unfortunately today I called them at 9am after never receiving a response to my text. They didn't answer, but called me back at 11 after me texting them asking them to please confirm my appointment since I work full time and would need to come home. He told me that he didn't have any record of my appointment, and even when I sent him the screen shot of me confirming the appointment he told me he never received it and that he was sorry. Long story short- they didn't even offer me another appointment or some way to apologize/rectify for the error (discounted groom? Come by on their day off?) and even though they were polite on the phone I wouldn't recommend such a disorganized professional service to any friends. I mentioned that their Yelp reviews seem to reflect lots of missed appointments and he said it was just the two of them so unfortunately that's why. I really think Bark Avenue should look into hiring an assistant for scheduling, or an online platform for booking appointments. You are losing a lot of dog-loving, paying customers by losing appointments and not offering any kind of consolation for the mistake on your end.
