    They are so sweet!

Oh. My. Gosh. I seriously love Bark Avenue Mobile Grooming! I found them online at work one day and took the risk and tried them. They came right to my office and groomed my baby girl right in front of me. They even took breaks to give her kisses and love because she was nervous. I highly recommend these guys! I wrote about them on my blog: https://heatherngilbert.com/hunter-green-is-my-new-fall-must-have/

The look on her face says everything.

These guys do amazing work. We've used them twice, and both times they've been on time, professional, personable, and you can tell that they really have a heart for this profession. Prices are very reasonable considering the convenience of not having to leave your home. I will be using them from now on, and will continue to tell my friends about them!

How cute does she look after her Bark Avenue groom!

Jay and Steven are a lifesaver. I have a dog who HATES going to the groomer. She has come back once so traumatized that she wouldn't even come near me for two days nor did she want to eat. Bark Avenue has literally changed the game! They never muzzle the dogs and are incredibly patient. They have worked with her and she continues to get better. The best part is they come to your house and leave no trace behind. They are so easy to work with and incredibly professional. I highly recommend them to anyone considering their services. I've attached a photo of my toy Australian Shepherd after being groomed by their magical hands!

Huckleberry after his amazing grooming session! He loved you guys!

Having a rescue puppy I wasn't willing to have him sit in a kennel all day waiting to be groomed. They really seemed to connect with him and genuinely care about each dog that they groom! They really made him look great and he smells even better! I will be recommending them to everyone!

    In-home grooming--PERFECT!!!

This is the best way to go for grooming! These guys are terrific -- excellent skills, very kind and good to our dog, and competitively priced. Don't hesitate trying their in-home grooming service. Everything was cleaned up before they left. The experience for our poodle was without stress , he genuinely liked Steve and Jay, and he didn't have to spend hours in a kennel like at other groomers. I highly recommend Bark Avenue.

Bark Avenue killed it! They did an awesome job and Dixie was not nervous at all! We will be seeing you soon!

The guys at Bark Avenue are totally awesome! They were flexible with my schedule and even made the extra effort to accommodate me when another customer canceled last minute. We will definitely be using them in the future!

And Jay and Steven went so far as to rake the yard and sweep the patio of all the stray hair.

She became highly indignant, saying she did nothing wrong (though they had refunded my money the previous visit_ when I kept asking her to see the logic that my Lab was 100% well when I brought him in, and after I picked him up he needed hundreds of dollars of treatment--not to mention his PAIN. This all began a couple months ago: a couple days after PP bathed my Lab he developed a crusty spot on his NECK and my vet said to let him know if it got bigger and to use a little vitamin E oil. After PP bathed him again 5 weeks later, I got home to see something waxy was on his back hair. Tiffany suggested it could be that maybe it was soap/he wasn't rinsed properly, that it had the feel and appearance of a lotion though they don't use lotions, then they voluntarily refunded my money. I trusted them though I couldn't get the product off of his back, and five weeks later brought him in for another bath. When I picked him up that time, the bather said she cleaned what looked to be a lot of flee poop off of his BACK. My lab is 12, is on prescription flea preventatives (plus it's winter), he rarely goes outside and his arthritis prevents him from rolling on his back, and STILL most of this waxy stuff remained even after another bath--they said they couldn't clean all of it off and that it might be normal aging--I had to ask how it could be that he suddenly aged between 9AM and 2PM when I picked him up. Three days after that bath, the small crusty spot blew up in the fold of his neck and I rushed him back to the vet. There was no hair loss and the vet confirmed It wasn't a hot spot after he shaved the area. After scrapes and staph testing and blood tests and even sending a blood sample out for a full thyroid test, there was nothing left to do other than hope steroids and a topical antibiotic would heal the area half the size of my palm. The vet confirmed that the problem could only have developed from an irritant there in the fold of his skin. They had refunded my money the previous visit because they said that they just hadn't rinsed him well, now bather denied it had anything to do with them and blamed it on something/anything else that I was responsible for. She kept interrupting me and became irate when I kept asking her to let me speak and ask her to see the logic. SHE felt persecuted! Now I was indignant and rose my voice to match hers--that's when she hung up on me. It was incredulous that she now acted like she was the victim.

I had clearly been standing there and even made eye contact with the employee working in that section. When it was finally my turn, another older customer walked up from around the corner. Instead of acknowledging that I was next, the employee immediately began helping her -- chatting about fish and snails and even grabbing the net to assist her. At first, I thought maybe they knew each other. But when it became obvious she was just skipping over me, I said, "Hello, do you work here?" She responded with an attitude, "Yes, why?" I explained that I had been waiting and was next. Both of them looked shocked that I even spoke up. I asked to speak with the manager, Anthony, and explained what happened. Honestly, I did not get a good feeling from that conversation either. His response was simply, "I'll speak with her." That was it. No real apology, no ownership of the situation, no attempt to make it right. As a manager, I believe you should go the extra mile to ensure customers feel valued -- especially after a poor interaction. Instead, the conversation felt stale and he quickly exited the situation. Yes, he did end up getting my fish, but that was the bare minimum. In my opinion, there should have been some small gesture -- even just a sincere apology or minor discount -- to show appreciation for our business and to ensure we return. It's already difficult to find good tropical fish options down south, but customer service like this makes it very easy to consider taking my money to one of the other pet stores nearby. Very disappointing experience overall. Update : On 2/24/26 After speaking with the manager over the phone and meeting her last Saturday 2/21/26 mid-morning, I was under the impression that some type of discount or resolution would be offered, especially since she made the effort to get my number and arrange a time to meet. I didn't expect anything extravagant, but I did expect some gesture to earn my business back. Instead, I was told about the new processes she plans to implement to ensure employees follow procedures more closely and pay better attention. While that's good to hear, those standards should have been in place from day one. Improving internal processes doesn't address my experience or rebuild my trust as a customer. Unfortunately, this situation wasn't handled in a way that makes me want to return. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
