I don't leave reviews often, but this place really got me upset. If I could leave 0 stars I would. We took our small dog here to get groomed (15lbs terrier, no special grooming requirements). We were told they don't do appointments, it is first come first serve. So we dropped her off at 9:30am. Yes there were other dogs there already, so we understand we weren't the first ones. I called twice in the afternoon as it had been a long time. (We have lived in many places so we have been to many groomers, none of which ever took longer than 3 hours at most). Both times I called, they sounded annoyed that I was asking if she was done, with a snooty tone. We waited until 4:45pm until she was ready. Over SEVEN HOURS. Most of that time I guarantee they are locked in a cage with no water or access to go potty. Our dog also has anxiety so that doesn't help that they had her locked up all day long.
If a company refuses appointments, they need to make each customer aware of the approximate time that they pet will be done, so the customer can decide if they are willing to leave their pet there all day long. If they cannot do that, they need to accept appointments so they can stay on schedule and not have dogs locked up all day long in cages with customers wondering what's going on and when their pet will be done.
It's completely unacceptable to have them locked up most of the business day, and knowingly take them in with no groom time in sight. And to have an attitude when customers call to inquire about their pet.
Never again will we return there for a grooming. This has been the worst experience we have had with groomers (and we have been to many). On top of all this, our dog is now extremely thirsty and all worked up with anxiety because of their bad business practices. This place is a MESS. read more
