I was told just to bring my dog in and they would take care of her. My dog is 15lbs. A small terrier. Super simple. 2 hours max to wash and cut her since she's very chill and small with short hair. Figured since they had no appointment system they had it down to a science to get pets in and out. I was mistaken. I dropped my dog off at 9:30 am. When I walked in, it was pure chaos. Dogs in cages packed in the front crying and barking. It's typical for a groomer to have dogs in kennels while they wait to be groomed or picked up but not in the front? Super strange. When I was greeted it was very transactional. Fine. I didn't ask questions and I felt like it wouldn't be long with her. We never waited more than 3 hours for our dog start to finish. 4 hours went by and no call. Super odd so my wife called in. Told her she wasn't ready yet. So we call again at 2:40 and the lady was rude to my wife and told her "she will be ready when she's ready and we will call you when she is". That right there should have been when we decided to just go and pick her up. Mind you I can guarantee she sat in the same damn cage all day with no water and no chance to go outside to pee or poop. I didn't pay for her to be kenneled up all day. Paid to be groomed. We figured at this point screw it, it really can't be that much longer. They know we have been calling and what could another 30-45 minutes do? We figured we would wait longer because it probably been a month overdue that our dog needed a grooming. Once again didn't trust our guts and feel bad for it. It was another 2 hours before she was ready. Over 7 hours to groom a small dog with short hair. What in the F? I truly hope this business fails. I work in the service industry and there's things that come with a service you pay for. An expectation for the service you are paying for and this place misses the mark by a million miles. So if you don't mind leaving your dog in a cage all day with people who don't care about your pet have at it, but if you do and do care for your pet unlike this business please look elsewhere. Make the drive elsewhere and spend the extra few bucks. You will thank your self and your pet will be happy you did.

I warn every groomer because I know if she snaps at me she will bite them. Sometimes I've gotten her back with her feet not completed, one or two paws done but not the others or not done at all. When I picked her up i was worried they would aske me not to ever bring her back. I was so impressed with her grooming. She was beautiful. Her ears were trimmed and shaped better than ever before and her cut was even and perfect. AND HER PAWS were all done. She looked so good. And they didn't ask me to never return I HIGHLY recommend Sonda's. I am beyond satisfied UPDATE: I took my other two pups this time too. A yorkie and Chorkie. They did amazing on both. This was the Chorkie's first grooming and the tripod Yorkie's third. I am very happy with the way they look and how happy my babies are when I pick them up

I really wish I could give ZERO stars because these people have NO clue how to take care of a dog…read more We took our 14 year old Basset Retriever to get a bath and a TRIM. We asked for him to be a LITTLE SHORTER and they SHAVED HIM!!! He has been puking and shaking ever since. These people have no idea that it unsafe for a long haired dog to be shaved because they took away his guard coat, which keeps him warm/cool. He gets completely overheated and ALMOST DIED BECAUSE OF THE IGNORANCE. They also TOOK A CHUNK OF SKIN OUT OF HIS LEG. He has required constant care and has had to been fed water with a medicine dropper just to keep him alive. We have taken him here before and not had issues but we are appalled by how INCREDIBLY RUDE THEY WERE, even after being told the pain they caused my dog. We have had to take him to the vet as a result and has had to get shots to help with nausea. Groomers need to be informed about how to best help a dog before causing them this much stress!!!!
