    I've had the absolute worst experience at your Petsmart Grooming Salon in Waxahachie, TX. The groomer who goes by BJ was rude, disrespectful, and dismissive during my check in this morning. She cause me such anxiety that I felt uncomfortable with her servicing anyone's pet family. My malamute, Kjng, has been coming for grooming services at that location for over 13years. Because he is a senior dog she didn't want to groom him. I spoke with the manager Jordan who tried to salvage the poor customer service he witness me received. This behavior and treatment of a long time valued customer was unacceptable and should be addressed with urgency

    Absolutely will not ever take my dog for grooming! I took my 4 mo old toy yorkie to his very first grooming appointment! Previously he has been bathed and combed at home but he would not allow us to cut his hair and nails so I figured taking him to a professional would be a better option! WRONG!!!! When I picked up my puppy he had been shaved completely! They then proceeded to tell me that they added on a $20 de-matting fee. I went back and forth because I was actually confused how they de-matted anything when the appointment lasted no longer than 30 mins and they literally took clippers and shaved him bald! I am highly upset And will not be returning to say the least! So if you want your puppy to be shaved bald... this is your place to go! Also I had to give this place a star to post the review but they don't even deserve that!

    With the reviews we read prior to booking our appointment I was a little hesitant. However, Natalie took such good care of our dog and did an amazing job. Natalie is also very personable and sweet! We will definitely be booking with her again!

    Don't bring your dogs here to be groomed! My dog shadow has never been afraid of being groomed and for some reason when he came back home he was very scared and hesitant. His eye was bloodshot red! They were very specific about him crying and not wanting to be groomed anymore which means they hurt my baby. Don't trust them!

    Anabel in Grooming is AMAZING! She took great care of my pup! My dog felt and looked so good afterwards!

    Approximately two weeks ago, we were notified that a grooming appointment--scheduled months in…read moreadvance--was being canceled due to the groomer needing the day off. While I understand unforeseen circumstances arise, there was no effort made to accommodate us in a timely manner. Instead, we were told the next available appointment would be nearly two weeks later. During that gap, we received a call stating certain vaccinations needed to be updated and documentation provided to avoid further delays. Wanting to ensure everything was in order, I contacted the office this morning to confirm exactly what was needed for our upcoming appointment. The experience that followed was disappointing from start to finish. After explaining the situation to the first representative, I was placed on hold--only to be unexpectedly transferred to another employee, Alfonso, without explanation. When I expressed confusion, he responded abruptly and informed me our pets needed an updated Bordetella vaccine only. Mind you, their current vaccine expired at the end of March with them being home this entire period. I calmly asked what documentation was required, and at that point requested to speak with a Manager to address my broader concerns. Alfonso repeatedly interrupted me and stated no Manager was available "at the moment." When I asked to leave my number for a callback, he responded, "I don't need your number if we already have your contact info on file," despite my attempt to clarify that multiple numbers might exist on the account due to there being two possible contacts. His tone throughout the interaction was dismissive and unprofessional. I also requested basic contact information for an owner to address directly and denied. When I questioned the inconsistency--being told initially that a Manager was unavailable "for the moment," then later that no one would be available until the following day--I was transferred again, this time to Taylor who was shared to be the Assistant Manager. Mind you, I was just informed that a Manager was not present. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve. Taylor consistently interrupted and deflected my concerns with explanations rather than listening. I ultimately had to ask her to allow me to finish speaking, after extending her that same courtesy. She then attempted to locate additional leadership including a Facility Manager, citing possible shift changes, where the call continued to be picked up and placed on hold multiple times with no clear communication. The call was eventually disconnected by picking up and hanging up; no one returning my call. Shortly after, I received an email confirming receipt of vaccination records. However, I was then told I would need to reschedule yet again because the vaccine had not been administered at least two weeks prior--despite our pet being routinely vaccinated. After consulting both our veterinarian and regular daycare provider, I was informed that this "two-week rule" is not standard practice for pets who are consistently up to date on vaccinations. It is typically applied only in cases where a pet has not previously received the vaccine. For this particular vaccine, routine dog daycare facilities will provide this service of vaccination on same day allowing dogs to remain and play has always been our experience. We went through this same ordeal of providing documentation in the fall of last year and also provided documentation the day prior to a groom without incident and email receipts as proof. The lack of consistency, communication, and basic professionalism throughout this process is unacceptable. There was no ownership of the situation, no attempt to resolve concerns, and no demonstration of care for the Customer experience. This facility has the potential to be great--but currently falls short due to poor communication, lack of accountability, and an absence of genuine Hospitality. At this time, I would not recommend this boarding or grooming facility. Should Leaders (Manager and or owner) reach out and take meaningful steps to address these concerns, I would be open to updating this review and possibly using this establishment in the future.

    We left our dogs while we were on vacation. The four dogs that were in a suite were not receiving…read moreproper treatment. They smelled like they slept in pee. The two who were in cages and had their own play time were fine. This is not the type of service I expect when I pay $3000 for boarding.

    We've had a great experience working with Mr. Sam! Our dog has always been full of energy and…read morereactive--especially when someone comes to the door. He would bark, lunge, or jump if people knocked or even walked by, and I had kept him in one-on-one play at daycare because I wasn't fully confident in his interactions with other dogs. But after just the first session with Mr. Sam, we saw a noticeable difference. He not only helped our dog become calmer and more manageable at the door, but also gave us the tools and knowledge we needed to work through the behavior. By the second session, Mr. Sam had our dog calmly off-leash and playing with other dogs--including a puppy!--in a way I never imagined possible. He really understands dog behavior and is incredibly skilled at guiding both dogs and their humans through the process. Much of the progress is also specifically about me learning to manage my own nervousness due to his previous behavior and history - and trust the process, and Mr. Sam is great at walking you through that. If you're willing to follow his guidance and put in the effort, you'll absolutely notice a big improvement. I now feel more hopeful and empowered, and I'm already seeing a change in our dog's behavior both at the door and even in the car (another place he tends to go crazy). He didn't have the best relationship with my boyfriend at first, he was scared of him and wouldn't let him hold him, but after we had Sam come in for a consultation, it seemed like that all changed. We are going to continue to work with our dog with the tools that Sam gave us but even after one consultation, we saw immediate results. This was an eye opening experience for the correct way to train a dog. If you are even considering to get a dog trainer, go to Sam!
