They are a nice way to bond with your dog and let them socialize with other dogs, but in a large group setting the actual training itself doesn't always feel as effective as it could be. As for the animals in the store, it's hit or miss. Sometimes there's a good selection and other times the variety is very limited. Still, it's a pretty solid place overall with good people working there, even if the prices and training effectiveness keep me from giving a full five stars.

After briefly examining it, she came back and said she couldn't groom him because the knot was too close to the ear and recommended that I take him to a vet. The problem was that it wasn't a knot at all--it was simply some tangled hair. I was confused and asked if they could at least groom the rest of him, but I was told no and that I would need to go to another groomer or a veterinarian. It made no sense to me that an entire grooming service would be refused over what turned out to be such a minor issue. When we got home, my wife combed the tangled hair out in less than two minutes. That made the recommendation to see a vet seem completely unnecessary. The whole experience left me feeling like they weren't interested in helping or finding a solution. I left frustrated, disappointed, and questioning whether they genuinely care about their customers and the work they do.

However, when I called to discuss it with the owner, he was more than happy to help. He went through and investigated the situation/preference cards, did not blame it on staff, all while trying to provide the best customer service he could. They were able to fit my two dogs in last minute which I appreciated and they did an excellent job. Even if it was a sub optimal groom, having an owner who works with customers to try and navigate problems and make them right makes this business stand out. Thank you!

Come to find that the cage I bought for $230 (I have a receipt) was missing operational wheels, two to three bowls, and two grates. It is the absence of one of the grates that makes it troublesome, as I miss either the top grate to hang yours or the bottom that prevents the bird from contact with their poop. The bowls are missing (fine I'll deal), it was a mess when I received it, the drawer is bent, and they are impossible to reach. I reached out back in 2021 when my husband and I first moved to the area and received a response that they were booked for the dates I was requesting. I completely understood that as I was requesting for only a month out (it was fine, we would figure it out). I then responded looking to book for future dates but received no response back. I ended up finding an independent pet sitter for the dates I needed but thought I would reach back out a year and a half later to see if I would have better luck with a response. Again, I was told in April that they were booked solid through the end of August...I responded saying I would still like to book an initial consultation so that I would be able to request future dates. I never received a response. It was extremely off-putting that they wouldn't even take a new customer who was willing to be flexible and work around next available dates. I have now found a much more professional, friendly, and responsive pet sitting company who I have been recommending to everyone who's asked me instead. It was disappointing to say the least and I hope others have a more positive experience.
