I just took my French bulldog here to have a basic bath and brush. It entitles shampooing, blow dry, brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, anal gland expression and paw pad trim. My appt was at 1:30 i got there about 10 mins early and they took her right away. I asked Hannah who was doing her grooming how long was it going to take? She said about an hr. I told Hannah directly and also put it in the notes don't cut her nails since she just had them done Saturday and to ensure she had her anal glands done. Which again was in her notes. The service was to last an hr. I stayed in the store shopping while she was being serviced. I went to pay and she was done while i was checking out it was 1:47. She was still wet when i got her and did smell clean. Semi. While shopping i did see Hannah and i asked her did anything come out when she did her anal expression? She seemed confused and gave me a quick no. I paid and took my pup home while going home i noticed her ears. They were still dirty. So I called to the store and spoke to Serena. I told her my dogs ears were still dirty which is something that's included in the service. She asked me "what would you like me to do about it?" Since I was too far to turn around i told her i would leave it up to her. She then told me my dogs nails were trimmed after i told them NOT to cut them and had it in her notes they still did it. So i questioned why my dogs ears were still dirty to find out they only "cotton ball wipe" their ears and not flush their ears clean. For the money i paid ($25) i feel like a lot more should have been done. I paid this money for my dog to be pampered and everything they did i could have done at home minus the anal gland expression but better. Don't waste your money on something you can do for free. I'm very disappointed and wont be going back!! read more

It had been a couple of years since we had our dog groomed here, but it is so much closer than our vet in Disputanta. I love booking, checking in and paying via the app. They were quick and efficient today and did a good job. We will come back. A little pricy if you add on, but overall seems competitive. read more

DO NOT USE THIS DOG GROOMING STORE. YOUR DOG WILL BE IN DANGER AND THEY LIE STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE. I arrived for a 2PM appointment - the groomer acknowledged she didn't have another customer until 4PM. When I finally went in at 3:45, I was told that my dog at 3PM had fallen on her back when she tried to jump on the groomers table - no doubt because of how the groomer handled her. And that she had been in the kennel for an hour prior because they had taken walk-ins (there were no walk-ins in the lobby when I left!!!) They told me it protocol that dogs who are injured have to see THEIR VET and they didn't know how long it would be - it had already been 45 MINUTES!!!!!. I WASN'T CALLED, I WASN'T CONSULTED. I had to call a manager and demand that they release my dog to me. DON'T TRUST YOUR DOG TO THESE PEOPLE!!! read more

This is my local store, I'm in all the time, the staff is GREAT ( cashier Vida is AWESOME) but....the other day I had to interact with the stock manager. She came up trailing a new employee to whom she was patronizing and came at me bothered and brusque right at the start. There was no issue , just a simple transaction it was clear from the other employee's reaction that this is typical behavior. NOTHING ruins employees morale quicker than bad management. We had a very bad experience with the groomers at this location. They cut our dogs nail extremely too short, she is wincing in pain anytime we touch her paws. When we asked to speak to the manager to ask what they did and file a complaint there was no salon manager on staff and the store manager refused to answer our questions or give us someone to contact. read more

The prices here are fairly competitive, staff members are knowledgeable of their products, and most importantly, my pup loves the place! I have three pets, each with vastly different dietary needs, and fortunately I can walk out of PetSmart with all of those needs met. Seems like a bit of a canine bias if you're looking for some accessories or other odds-and-ends but largely, I can find what I need when I need it. Staff members are typically very friendly, but on occasion you'll run across one whose barks and growls will put visiting doggos to shame. Same with the adoption crew (who I don't think are PetSmart employees) - usually VERY nice, with the random one or two who'll give attitude for no reason. This is probably my only reason for not giving the store a 5-star review. Considering the randomness of who's bringing what kinds of critters in, and that I've seen customers watch their dogs squat and walk away like nothing happened, staff members keep the store in very clean shape. I've never seen "messes" last very long on the floor. The store has a wonderful selection of dog toys and chews in stock, ranging from things for baby puppers to extra large chew machines. Mine likes to destroy whatever she can, and I've had luck with finding toys that have lasted a very, very long time (and saved furniture along the way). Very happy with the selection here - and for the record, you do get what you pay for if you're buying for power chewers! All-in-all, a great store and usually an awesome experience! I love to drop by during the adoption times to see who's looking for a new home. A good place for general-purpose purchases and the like! read more

I made my appointment online for my new puppy to be groomed. When I entered the puppy grooming station, I was met with a happy and eager staff. Check in was a breeze and they explained everything. I received a text when he was ready. Staff showed me around the store and showed me what was best for my puppy. I ended up spending an extra $100 on my puppy! Petsmart is one of the better pet stores in the area. They carry the best dog and cat food money can buy,I perfer the brand Blue for our dog. Need toys for your critter they gottem how about snack for them they gottem. Pretty much what ever you need they got, could use so better stuff for paroits though. They got birds and rodents you can buy or if you want a cat they gottem. If you can't find something the friendly staff is willing to help you out. And bring the dog with ya they will have ball. read more

I have a shih tzu and have searched diligently for a groomer that knows the cut. I went to many places - some a lot better than others. However, there is a groomer "Christin" at this store that really understands what a shih tzu haircut is. People stop me to ask about charlee's haircut. This store smells awful, to the point it burns your nose. Certain areas smell even more strongly in urine, and nothing is being done to fix it. Despite not being very knowledgeable themselves, the employees will pester you about the fish or other animal you are buying. They refuse to acknowledge your own expertise and act like you don't know anything about the pet you are buying. Defiantly try to go to another pet store in the area if you can. read more

Brought my dog in today for their $40 grooming package which includes grooming, bath, and nails. I was quoted three to four hours to complete the job. After about two hours I was done with other errands and stopped to see if my pup was ready and received a whole lot of attitude from the groomer. I had previously brought out other dog in for the same treatment and he was complete in about two hours. I might be less upset if I had been a walk in but why make an appointment if the groomer isn't going to work on my dog at the appointment time? read more

Expensive on some items but there is a reason. The staff loves animals. I bought a very expensive leash and it had issues. Staff took it and handed me another. No questions or shenanigans. (It doesn't hurt that my dog is easily recognized.) They help with the products and some of the staff goes far far beyond just helping they have experience with the products. read more

It has been years since they groomed my furbaby. Due to vacation plans for his regular groomer (awesome VCA animal care location) and my procrastination, I decided to give them another try. Upon check in, 2 of the groomers were, complaining about current furbabies on the table. Another suggested they just call the owner. The only one of the five being professional was the older groomer in the far back. We made eye contact a few times and I ignored my gut. In the meantime, one impatient groomer snatched a cutie off the table and headed to the back. Jus picked up my furbaby, AWFUL job. I will be on the book at our vet groomer next week. Someone has to fix this mess. Do yourself and your furbaby a favor. Do not use these impatient girls. read more

I'll start this off by saying the place smelled pretty bad. It wasn't an animal smell either. It was more of a sweaty armpit smell that kind of filled the air of this place. If you can get past that though, this location was awesome. They had a very wide selection. We went here to find some things for our new cat. We were not disappointed. The variety of products they carried and the selection of cat foods was unbelievable. My son loved looking at the fish, and various other live animals. The employees were also very helpful and friendly. I do believe for all of our cats future needs we will be visiting here. read more

i love this store even though i cant take my dogs in because they are crazy. We use to buy fresh water fish. Good luck trying to find somebody to help you out. However when we did have someone to help us they were very nice. We liked our fish but they apparently didn't like us because they all died. read more

Giving the store 5 stars the pet hospital 5+ stars and stuff but let's get to the groomer they get and -1 took my baby in for his first close hair cut usually just get face and nail done well he had a appointment at 12:30pm they told me $70 and it will take 4hr I said ok but I didn't leave I watch other dogs come an go my baby come out to get brush take back in come back out 2hr later wet put on the table and Tied by the neck to be comb out while Laurn the person who was working on him answer the phone while holding him on the table with one hand and working on the computer also an my baby just shivering cold she was so ruff with him that he was crying he have cuts on his growing area missing hair on his face an legs and now he jump in his sleep just a mess never will take him back to (Lauren)ever read more

I also walked my dog around inside and we saw some dog training going on in a little training area in the middle of the store. I also set up an appointment for him to get a wash and cleaning for $46. took my dog in for grooming upon return to find my dog could not walk on his left leg. When I asked the young girl how he did she said fine until went to shave/cut hair on his legs and he tried to bite her so she restrained him and he was "fine" after that...Got him home and realized he was limping and not walking on left leg. When I called to ask what happened another young lady got a attitude and was very rude saying we didn't hurt your dog....Called manager next day and will be taking him to the hospital for they will be paying the bill..Also awful grooming job..they did a choppy haircut...I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN...SAD read more

So I have been taking my Yorkie to Petsmart to be groomed for a year and a half and all of a sudden I took her today and she is not groomable!! How can that be when shes been groomed there I dont know how many times! They said she supposedly tried to bite (which I DO NOT believe at all, she has NEVER tried to bite). Then they suggested that I sedate her to have her groomed!!! NO WAY! Customer service is non existent. I made an appointment to have my dog groomed two weeks in advance. On the day of the appointment, I showed up ten minutes early only to be told that they had no record of me having an appointment at all. I was told that they might be able to fit me in but I would have to wait 4 or 5 hours. Groomers are terrible. Terrible attitudes towards customers and dogs they work on. Scheduled an appointment for 10 and was told 3 to 4 hours. I arrive 4 hours later my dog was not ready; instead I got attitude about getting a phone call when he is ready. If you are going to work in customer service and with cute dogs all day, maybe have a better attitude, or a different job. read more
