I stopped by this morning, the following Saturday, and sure enough they hadn't gotten to it yet. Realizing it's the peak of busy season for small engine mechanics I decided not to make a big deal out of it and went on home. Even though there are no mechanics on duty on the weekends I got a call about an hour later saying my auger was ready for pickup. The manager on duty, being a mechanic also, took it upon himself to repair my equipment. I really appreciate that kind of service and will not hesitate to use them in the future. I ordered a large quantity and on arrival it looked right. When works came and broke the "strap" they found the textured was literally set on top of 5 stacks of smooth, misleading! Today I decided we would pickup this time 60 pieces. Looking at the stack nearly everyone of the piece on the front we smashed in what appeared to be an accident with a forklift. The pieces we needed were behind the trash in stacks of 25. Having had surgery I figured they would use the forklift and bring to the trailer-- nope-- FYI the forklift was 10ft from the siding. They told my wife and I they could not get it down the aisle (we looked at each other and laughed). Having had surgery on the 7th out help was ready to load it but the 2 store hands (not friendly) decided to pull the planks 1 by 1... wow. These 2 spotlight (with a burnt out bulb employees) were back at the counter as they see me pay. The cashier tells them I checked out. I asked if they could open the big door (where they parked my material). What a bunch of assholes, they started helping another customers. I ask if they could open the door and I would load it. The guy asked if I paid!! What the f! You saw me, the cashier told you I was ready to be loaded and you for some ass backwards reason you dont think I paid. I showed the receipt and it was like I shit in his hand! Sick of these stores hiring dicks! I am done with the big box pricks treating us like they can go without! Not going back for shit! We will use the local hardware no matter the cost

Then when the city cop put me in the car he said I was being arrested for having a bad attitude. I shit you not that's what he said. Oh no body cams. Big surprise. Ice thought about suing them many times. The DA 's office deferred prosecution indefinitely. Another big surprise. I'm a vet so not everyday is roses and rainbows but I am not a thief! Long story short, the thing malfunctioned spectacularly…read more We called to report this immediately and immediately took it back, just for my husband to be accused by 3 people of breaking it ourselves. Everyone was very rude, accusing us of all sorts, when we literally followed the instructions on the handle to a "T". So then they try it in store, it works for them (note, when they tried it in store, it didn't have any cleanser left in it to spew everywhere - which is what happened at our house when it DID have cleanser in it. And two, they tried it on a cement floor. Our problem was we were using it on rugs, and it sucked so powerfully that it was pulling our rugs into the machine itself and not gliding over our rugs.) So then, after it "works" for them in person, do we get an apology for their claims that WE broke it? NO. Are we reimbursed for the costly cleanser we used in it that's now wasted? NO. Were we at any point treated like loyal customers (we are) whose business they would like to keep after we're given a product that did not work correctly? NO. Henceforth we're Lowe's people.
