The owners were incredibly professional and took the time to walk me through the entire process, which I truly appreciated as a first-timer. Because of the value of my items, they were also kind enough to return everything to me after about 60 days, which I found to be very thoughtful and fair. Although my focus this visit was selling and not purchasing, I can't ignore how great their selection is -- they have some really nice pieces. I also love that they use Facebook Live to promote items and that they operate two locations. And as a women-owned, Black-owned business, that's an even bigger reason for me to continue supporting them. I plan to try consigning again next season once I go through my wardrobe and decide what I'd like to bring in, and on my next visit I'll definitely be shopping too. Low and behold (thanks to the 3 previous yelpers that left reviews), I stumbled across this GEM of a shop! Now, I'm typically not one to purchase from or shop in consignment stores. Nothing against them, but they just never seem to have anything of interest to me. And when I do find something I like, it's usually not my size, so I'd just resolved that these shops are not for me. But when I stepped into New Digz, surprisingly, there were multiple items that I immediately fell in love with! This spot is definitely NOT your typical consignment shop. From the moment I walked in the door, the ambiance was that of a modern and contemporary boutique. From the dresses carefully chosen for the displays that greeted the new customers in the front windows, to the furniture, the layout of how things were placed, the adorable selfie station, and (most importantly) the inventory. Everything about this place MADE you want to buy something before you walked out of the door. I had to remind myself countless times that I was actually there to drop off items, not bring home items, because there was plenty there that I wanted to take with me. From purses, jewelry, scarves, shades, shoes, and even clothes for the kiddos, this place had some of everything! Now I will say that for me, driving to this place was a bit of a hike being that I live right outside of DC, but I must say that it was well worth the drive. Using Ray's Touch to resurface my cabinets and install quartz was the best decision ever! We looked…read moreat three other contractors plus Home Depot. The other contractors just didn't feel right. Most wanted to replace my cabinets all together. Ray was very careful with my property. He taped off everything and routed air through the window to remove all dust. He removed my cabinets doors and took them to his shop. My kitchen was very dark. You can't tell what it used to be. Ray and his team were very efficient and on time. The work took one week. I neglected to read my contract carefully. The contract says all fees due in full before delivery meaning before Ray brings your doors and new countertop for installation, any balance must be paid in full. You pay in full beforehand. The new door and new countertop install is the last step and only takes a day. I was concerned about paying in full before the last step was complete and I voiced that concern. Luckily, Ray is a man of integrity and all went well! Ray even installed a wood base at the bottom of one of my cabinets because the bottom of that cabinet was ruined. My dog had bit an end of my cabinet and you can no longer tell. Ray removed any signs of wear or tear in my cabinets. Ray also left behind the paint color of the new cabinets in case I scratched or mistakenly damaged something. Ray's office manager was very professional and his showroom is very clean. They have a large selection of granite, quartz, colors, etc. Everyone on Ray's team was very professional, friendly, nice and knowledgeable. Ray has a very direct pricing model that does not include haggling or negotiation. He does not negotiate his pricing. He simply puts his best pricing forward. This saves so much time! I appreciate that.

I browsed yelp for an hour, read reviews, checked pictures and narrowed down on my top 3 salons closest to her venue. Studio Nails & Hair in Oceanside was my first call, and only call! Requesting to speak to Dee, (not realizing she was the owner), I immediately informed her of a picture I saw on yelp of an updo done by her. Complimented her on her quality and proceeded to discuss my predicament. She quickly confirmed the fast approaching date and time needed (2-3 days after call), without hesitation. Once the big day arrived, I was running about 2 hours behind schedule. I called and notified Dee of my unexpected updated ETA and asked if she could still accommodate me for a later appointment. She again said without hesitation, not a problem, I will see you then. Once in route from Lake Arrowhead (my secondary residence), I missed my exit and ended up having to driving an extra 30 mins around to catch the next freeway. I quickly called to inform and beg her to still be seen as it was crunch time. Dee fully understood and assured me that I'd be seen, but may have to wait as she started on her next scheduled client. Please see pictures below), she assisted with getting me into my gown. Fully ready and about to head on my way, I had a fashion emergency, I split my zipper in my T-back gown. Dee, her assistant and her CLIENT, saw the fear and panic in my face and eagerly tried to help me! We tried for 20 mins but the zipper wouldn't budge. With a gaping hole in my back from mid to lower, I was panicked! But my hair looked perfect!!!! I quickly remembered I had a plethora of safety pins in my purse (don't recall why, lol), Dee said let's give it a try! The 3 women pinned me up without question and got me on my way. I also had a shall I used as a wrap to hide the back. If it wasn't for Dee, her assistant and her client, I wouldn't have made it to my friends wedding! If it wasn't for Dee working so hard to accommodate my extremely busy and hectic schedule and specific needs I wouldn't have had picture perfect hair for her wedding!
