I love a good TSC visit! With there being only two locations near Buffalo, this one in Lockport is pretty much our go to, as my parents live nearby and it's convenient to stop in when we visit. We come here specifically for our dog's food, we get him the 4Health small bites variety. It's a great dog food and comes in many sizes! We also usually pick up a carhartt shirt, hat, etc for my husband. He's an electrician and carhart is his favorite brand for work clothing and apparel. They also have big and tall sizes in stock which is awesome! I also got my rain boots here, cute and flowery and less than $20! You can't beat that! My favorite time to visit is the spring time, when they have their chick days! Yes that's right, baby chicks and ducks right in the store! Animals lovers like myself need not worry, you can't just go in and buy a chick to put in an Easter basket. They have regulations for sale to prevent against that! I love watching the little duck babies waddle around, it brightens my whole day! Long story short, you don't have to have a tractor or a farm to shop in this store! Come check it out!

No, they don't sell tractors, but you can buy a kayak!

We bought all sorts of beautiful rocks at a great price for my fish tank. I don't know where else to get dubia roaches for my tarantula since Petsmart rarely has them. Service is generally friendly and helpful. On the other hand, I feel bad for the dogs. I don't think I've ever seen anyone come with the intent of adopting one. Their cages don't look very cozy, and I worry about them a lot. It's also weird they keep the freezer of mice and rats next to adoptable mice and rats. Fortunately my rat loving son hasn't noticed, but something to keep in mind when browsing with sensitive children. Their live pets seem to exceed demand, especially the expensive designer beardies, though I've never observed any in poor health.

After getting her home into a perfect setup I saw all the scars and old injuries that indicate a wild caught animal. Now almost two years later, after trying literally everything, I'm still syringe feeding her. She will only eat live lizards, but unfortunately lizard feeders are all wild caught and riddled with parasites and disease. So I can't with good conscious keep her on a lizard diet. THESE PEOPLE OWE ME $850. There is a reason they are banned from all NARBC shows. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They sell wild caught animals with a bunch of problems and lie to your face. They are also professional arguers and gas-lighters. Telling you that you are the problem, your setup is the problem, and the animal they sold to you is perfect. I am a caretaker for one of the top Basin Emerald Tree Boa keepers and breeders. They keep and breed high-line ETB's that average 10-15 thousand dollars. They also have a few 25 plus thousand dollar boas that the public isn't even aware of. If I can be trusted by them, I AM NOT THE PROBLEM. You can literally see them doing it in the response to other people's reviews. I'm sure they will either argue with this review, or find a way to get it taken down. Beware the wife. She walks around in a very low-cut shirt with her bra and boobs exposed luring young men to buy from them. At the NARBC show two years ago, she was bending over in front of people so her shirt and bra would fall away literally exposing her nipples. Keep away, keep your children away, just do not visit these disgusting people. On behalf of all responsible reptile keepers, I apologize for this company's horrible practice. DO NOT SUPPORT PETS PLUS-REPTILES & EXOTIC. They also own KICKS BALLS.

I am thrilled to live within a mile of this amazing gem of a store! The owner is wonderful! Just…read moretwo minutes into our conversation, I wanted to be her new BFF. This is a woman who LOVES animals and really knows her stuff! She carries a great variety of products and even offers holistic options. Recently I was in there buying a large bag of Orijen pet food (the only place in the area that sells this brand), and asked her about some CBD oil for my dog. Ruby (that's my dog, not the owner) has had some hip problems and shows reluctance when laying down and getting back up. She (the owner, not Ruby) told me about Buddy, the dog for whom her store is named. Buddy had some joint problems and a lot of pain before he passed away. She showed me the products that seemed to alleviate his pain, one of them being the CBD oil and the other being Super Snouts Joint Power. Let me tell you, Ruby LOVES that Joint Power powder. I sprinkle it on her dog food and she DEVOURS it (as if she really needed any help in that area). So I can imagine the taste must be amazing to dogs! I am on vacation right now and Laura's Critter Care is taking care of Ruby, so I haven't been able to watch for progress, but I'll be anxious to see when I get home in a couple of weeks. You should also know Buddy's offers a frequent shopper program. There's a virtual punch card, so when you've bought ten bags (or is it nine?) you get a bag of food free. The second time I was in there, she was out of the large size of Orijen, but she told me that I'd get credit for that smaller bag on my punch card and still be able to get my free large bag (the size I most frequently purchase). She also offers $5 coupons along the way when you've purchased a certain dollar amount. I love that the owner doesn't just care about her customers, but she really cares about their pets too! I'm lucky enough to live within walking distance, but no matter where you live, if you're in the Amherst area, I highly suggest you check out Buddy's for some primo pet products!

What a great, locally owned pet supply shop!…read more My vet is in the same plaza, which is how I noticed this store would be opening soon. I friended them on Facebook! They asked if anyone had any suggestions for products they'd like to see in the store. I commented on the post that I have been having a tough time finding cow tails (I know, gross). My dogs LOVE cow tails and occasionally I get them one each when I am near Animal Outfitters on Elmwood. Last time I went though, Uncle Omar didn't have any (Animal Outfitters is another great FB page to follow - hehehe!) in stock. Buddy & Friends said they would order some for me. Sure enough, when the tails came in, they commented on Facebook to let me know! Weeeeee! This store is in my neighborhood, much much closer than Elmwood. So, since I was on my way out the door to drive-thru CVS with my pups, we made another quick stop by Buddy's! I brought pups in, they sniffed around, found a couple more treats they wanted, including a 3-foot long pork stick. Haha! We picked up our tails, paid, and peaced out! The prices are amazing here. Way cheaper than other pet supply stores nearby! I love that and appreciate the lower prices. My pups and I will definitely be back. I saw some cute collars I liked for them, and the prices were half of what they are at the other store nearby!! Tomorrow is B&F's grand opening. I hope they have a great turn out. This is a really nice, well curated pet store! So glad it's in the neighborhood.
