The store isn't perfect, but there aren't a ton of great options for plus clothes. The offerings can be hit or miss, but when they are a hit, they are a big hit for me. I was searching high and low for real dress pants. This is only of the only places I can find pants that have any actual weight to them. Most dress pants I try in other stores are super thin and you can see the outline of the pockets right through the leg. They also have a lot of horrible pants with have no buttons or zippers - just elastic waist weirdness that I could never wear to work. I have just discovered they have a great shoe selection. I have wide feet and I like classic pumps and boots and they have both. None of their boots are real leather, which I think is great. I do have an hour glass figure and I have found nice things here, but I have the opposite experience of Lindsay. I think the tops tend to be too shapeless and too roomy in the midsection. I've gotten a couple suit jackets here, but I can't count on finding one any time I walk in the store. If I find a great jacket, it could be a year or two before they have another one I want to buy. One of the biggest cons for LB is that they seem to carry a very limited number of each size and when it's gone, it's gone, and the staff will just tell you to look for it online. This stuff is more expensive than your average store and for a lot of what they have, it's not worth it. However, they do have some nice pieces that are worth the expense.

So the shops at the Boulevard are extremely busy and extremely difficult to get into and Nigeria Falls Boulevard (I meant Niagara but the traffic is as bad as Lagos Nigeria) (OK exaggeration) (not by much) (OK by much) is a total mess, so if you can come around on North Bailey then it's probably better for you to come that way. This particular store has some pretty cool designer stuff and while it is expensive it can be good for tall women, for sexy lingerie, or if you shop plus size, or all kinds of stuff. Bae's view: LB has nice clothes for women. Not every clothing store has business type clothes over a certain size. This store also has nice lingerie. My friend really likes their tops. Much better than she likes shopping at Tops. I'm glad I don't live in Buffalo because I'd write bad reviews of Tops like Fox does!

I have…read more Avenue is a cute little clothing boutique style shop for plus sizes, especially women, in Buffalo, which Barbie has been in with me one time and I've never been in it without her. She liked it although we didn't buy anything for her sister (the only plus size female we buy stuff for - the plus size girls I know prefer to pick up their own items - and that's a big plus) - and they were friendly enough. They actually have a lot of really fantastic stuff in store. They also have hot employees and extremely attractive customers. This particular location is inside the Galleria, and is a little hard to get to because it's such a big mall. But once you get there, you will find everything for your neon-red-hair and temp-tat and offensive-t-shirt needs. Some of the styles are virtually scaled down adult Jean's and shirts that look amazing on kids. The pajamas are super soft and cottony and the tiny undies can't be beat. Two year olds out of diapers need underpants that fit! Many brands start at larger sizes. This location is very organized and spacious with pandemic rules in place including spots on the floor at checkout for social distancing and mask wearing signs aplenty. And hand sanitizer is available. We were greeted at entry and that was it. Nice to know if we need anything they're available but browsing was undisturbed. The cashier was meticulous about neatly folding the small articles of clothing, baby things are not easy to fold! She took great care, was courteous and kind. Lastly, I noticed a phone charging station available, something I'd never seen, see photos. Not sure if I'd use it, but seemed innovative. Galleria location of Gap is the best in the area for selection and service.

I get a lot of shells/tanks to wear under cardigans for work, and sometimes can get some work pants, but only one of the style cuts works for me, so I am limited in my size. Pants, unless on clearance, can be pricey. Today, I got two long sleeved tops and a shell for $22! Style selection can vary. It goes from sometimes a ton of work wear, then they have a phase of more casual stuff. They do usually have a decent variety of most sizes. Pants go from 0 to 18, and tops XS - XL. Store is neat and organized. My job keeps me moving, so I have to wash my stuff frequently. I haven't had any problems with stuff fading,stretching out, or getting worn. It holds up great in the wash and from me jumping up and down at my job! I did have once instance when they were a pain with coupons. I get their emails and was told that the limitation on the bottom of "excludes all other offers" meant that it couldn't be used on ANYTHING that had any sort of sale, which is basically the whole store as most of these places mark everything up and then advertise a sale. So only the one rack of suit coats pretty much that were full price could be used. This was like only a 15% coupon, too. I did not have that issue before. I understand the super low "Final Sale" leftover clearance is exempt, but not sure what that supervisor's problem was. The clerk that was checking me out that day tried to run it through, but was apologetic. All sales people otherwise have been very helpful and accommodating, regardless if you are buying expensive suit sets or bargain items. Fitting room employees offer to grab you another size or style as needed. I have had their credit card (shares w/ LOFT, another Ann Taylor brand) only for a short time. Most of the deals seem to come with the full price store (which I just heard is closing at the Walden Galleria), but I'll keep coming here for good basic work wear!
