While their selection isn't as extensive as the big-box home improvement stores, they more than make up for it with outstanding customer service and convenience. Over the years, we've purchased paint (they do an excellent job matching colors--just bring in a sample), propane refills, flowers, garden supplies, hardware, and even our Weber gas grill, which they assembled and delivered. It's rare that I can't find what I need, and when I do need assistance, someone is always nearby to help. They also have several convenient locations in the area, with ample parking at each. If you value knowledgeable employees and personal service over wandering the aisles of a warehouse-sized store, Koopman's is an excellent choice.

A few weeks after I spread the mulch on my garden a healthy crop of oat grass sprouted where I had spread the mulch. I called the store about the problem and the store representative blamed the problem on me, saying that I did not apply the product correctly. That is untrue. More importantly, the store representative refused to allow me to return the second unopened bale because I had not kept the receipt for the product. Very disappointing customer service from a store that sold a clearly defective product and refused to take any responsibility for doing so. Customers beware.

We found the sectional (replacing a 2014 couch) that we wanted and put in an order including an extra piece for our great room. The sales person told us it would be 4+ weeks to receive this (it was less than 3). I had to postpone the delivery due to extreme ice and snow in our driveway and walkway. After praying we had a mid-winter "spring heat" wave and made the paths safe for delivery. Great communication! One of the sectional pieces we ordered didn't recline, and they didn't have the correct one in stock. To make it right, they provided us with a reclining piece at no extra cost. The delivery guys were AWESOME! They spoke ENGLISH, were friendly, and very professional and NO questions on taking away our old sofa (this was an issue with the Lowes appliance delivery which I would rate a D- ). Come to find out the back porch was better for them to make the delivery so in the end I didn't need to wait. Product is perfect. The only downside is the furniture credit card is at 35% but 0% if you pay off in 1 year (interest accrues... already have a $95 accrued for 1st month). I plan to pay this off by the summer. Also I think the "haul-away" fee was rather pricey compared to past fees. It use to be free (but this is TAXachussetts). We looked at Jordan's and they also had a high fee. Overall we love the new sectional except for I can't stay awake when we watch our movies and shows.. lol.. it is so comfortable.

He graciously pointed me to what they had, pointed out some popular items and was ready to answer any questions. But, that's not all. A very nice lady also pointed out some other items to me as well. The employee at the register scratched off the back for me to read the number. He scratched so hard that a couple of the numbers weren't readable and so the gift card couldn't be redeemed. None of this was my fault, but the rude manager lady who came up to try and help this kid said I'm out of luck. I said none of this was my fault and they needed to let me have the merchandise after taking the money from my friend who bought me the gift card. She refused. Rudely. Then her manager, Mike came to the register and he said no as well. What a waste of money for my friend who was just trying to do something nice for me. That store sucks. I always have a bad experience there. I'm never shopping there again. If you're the farming type and live near Orange, MA, I highly recommend Greenfield Farmers Cooperative Exchange. Love this pet store!…read more I wish I had known about them sooner. I usually go to Petco or Petsmart to get pellets for my parrot, which I'm not a huge fan of. I did a search one day trying to find another pet store nearby, and Mayo's came up. I gave it a shot, as it was only 7 min drive from my home. What an awesome pet store! The guy at the counter is so nice and friendly. We got to chatting about his two beautiful birds (Baby and Breeze). Baby is such a character--I almost burst out laughing when she started kissing her own reflection in her little mirror. Can't wait to run out of food for my parrot again. lol
