In the past there as no need to pre order product but they have dropped two of the brands so difficult to break the news to our animals. Pricing always has seemed fair as has the store staff, everyone here his very cool and well informed. While still in the process of getting the store fully stocked, I found just what I needed and the 50# bag of feed was priced really well! They will be selling curated vintage items and arts and craft items in the living room, the back rooms will have new and "gently used" tack. Soon they will have hay, which I also buy in flakes or sometimes a full bale. I met both co-owners who are helpful and friendly... and a gorgeous long-haired shepherd, who cI believe was working the register (see photo!). I was invited back to their grand opening celebration in early April. When in Morongo Valley, I'll definitely be back to load up on pellets and hay. Wishing this new business well!

When my husband, our two daughters, and I visited the Petco Indio near WinCo, we honestly had no idea where to begin--tank, fish, supplies... everything was new to us. My husband asked for help at the front desk, and we were lucky enough to meet Danny. We didn't even realize until near the end that he is the General Manager. From the very start, he was incredibly kind, patient, and enthusiastic. He explained every single detail and answered all of our beginner questions without ever making us feel rushed or uncomfortable. When he learned this was our first time buying a fish, he smiled and said, "Let's make it more exciting--I love this." And he truly did. He helped us choose a 10-gallon tank, two fish, and all the decorations, guiding us carefully through every item. I went in and asked for Jordan and for some reason she's not there so a manager named Danny M was there I asked him about my problem with my cat, and if he recommended any specialty cat products, he had no clue what he was talking about. He didn't know about the brands of cat food. He was trying to hand me over to another employee grace. She was a little bit better, but Danny had no clue what he was talking about.
