Recently it seemed like birdseed was becoming the new toilet paper as far as shortages go. I couldn't find a good-sized sack of seed at any of the large retailers in Yucca Valley. Thankfully I remembered that C & J existed and made the drive out to Landers where I picked up a fifty pound bag for something like twenty bucks. They have several varieties of seed available and the two I've tried (with corn and without corn) have been well received by the wild birds in my yard. Someone even carried the large bag out to my vehicle which was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. It's a well-stocked store with friendly, helpful employees and easy parking. I'll definitely be making my birdseed purchases here in the future.

My horses reflect the quality of their feed from C&J feed barn.. Shiny coats and healthy horse's

Best feed stores in the morongo basin. Quality hay at competitive prices. Would buy feed from anyone else. Shop also carries fresh eggs and local honey. Support local!

Always helpful and knowledgeable staff. I miss the one in Morongo for location but still a great store.

Purchased hay from C&J and found a flat battery in my horses feeder. Then the next day there was glass in the hay. Don't buy hay from C&J

As a proud dog parent to three energetic furballs, I can confidently say Petco in Yucca Valley is…read moreone of their favorite places--second only to the backyard when treats are involved! Why We Love It Here 1. Services Galore From full-service grooming to vaccination clinics that never charge a visit fee, Petco makes pet care easy and affordable for all our various (and continual) puppy needs. 2. Grooming: Tail Wags Guaranteed The ladies here are pawsome. While GSPs don't need a whole lot of grooming, we see our dogs' fluffier friends leave here tails wagging and owners smiling. 3. Training & Community Whether it's puppy classes or adult obedience, each of our pups--big, medium, and "will-sit-only-if-I'm-snacking" small--has thrived. And it's a comfort knowing they're learning from certified trainers. 4. Lastly, it warms my heart to see their pet adoptions. Knowing that local people are finding their new pals there and that the furry companions are getting a forever-home means the world to me and my children. My only frustation is that the lines can be a little long and it's not always easy to find help, but I try to remind myself that these people are not only caring for the community but also changing lives.

The owner is always present, inviting, and knowledgeable. I remember bring my Lola in for the first time and the owner instantly told me what breed she was just by looking at her, gave her treats, and a back rub. I currently live in Morro Bay, CA, which is approximately two hours north of Santa Barbara and five hours north of Big Bear and I drive down twice a month for Lolas Dried Chicken Necks and Turkey Neck. Yes, I drive 5 hours one way just for these treats. The owner offered to ship them to me however I love coming in and visiting. There's a certain level of human interaction you miss out on by not visiting in person. Olivers is located in the scenic village surrounded by mountains and the lake. Oliver's is fully stocked with treats, well being products, and toys to keep your poochie baby happy. Oliver's also has another addition by the name of Mackswel. He's always friendly, smiling, and were both from Brazil which is cool. I really love this place and encourage everyone who cares about their poochie babies to stop in. I guarantee you'll keep coming back!
