I recently shopped at this Walmart and purchased several clothing items along with four beauty…read moreproducts. After arriving home, I realized that although the beauty products were listed on my receipt and paid for, they were never placed in my bag at checkout. The store is approximately 30 minutes from my home, so I had to make a one-hour round trip the following day to retrieve items that I had already paid for. When I returned, customer service verified my receipt and instructed me to go back through the store and collect the items again before they could provide them to me. While I appreciate that the store ultimately gave me the merchandise I had purchased, I was disappointed by how the situation was handled. The mistake was not mine, yet I had to spend additional time, gas, and effort to correct it. I politely asked whether any form of customer-service compensation or goodwill gesture could be offered due to the inconvenience, but both customer service and management stated that there was nothing they could do. I also contacted corporate customer service and received the same response. Everyone I spoke with was professional, but I left feeling that my time and inconvenience were not valued. Mistakes happen, and I understand that, but I believe there should be a better way to address situations where customers have to return to the store because of an error during checkout. I hope Walmart will consider improving its customer-service policies for situations like this in the future.

The store was clean, well organized, and merchandised well. For a weekend, they were understaffed and customers galore, so the wait time in line was long but once we got to the register, the service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. Tensions are evident already, and fnally one snaps to another "you have a customer". Upon asking if she can put the new band on my existing watch, she immediately declines. They aren't equipped with any tool for that. I am disappointed, and tell her 'no sale", since I don't have a tool like that at home either. She turns abruptly to go back to her paperwork, and replies "no problem" with a dismissive tone. There wasn't even the pretense of courtesy here, and I clearly got the message that customers are an interruption of their work, rather than the reason the store exists in the first place.
