Surprising find…read more It's an automotive shop. That has a little side business as a pet store. Which apparently has been operating for something like 40 years. Successfully. For reals. And not just any pet store. They sell the good stuff here, this is not your local Walmart of pet goodies. Found them on the website for our dog food as a retailer, called and yep they had what we needed in stock. Last bag. Open on a Saturday. Headed over, and was surprised to find the split-personality pet auto thing going on, but it works. It really does. The store is small but it is well stocked and whatever they don't have, they can get, they order if they are out of it or can find it and it can be there in just a few days. They sell a good amt of the higher end dog foods, such as Taste of the Wild, Wellness, Grandma Lucys etc. Oh and your random metal dog water bowl, which somehow got lost in our move. $2 ya'll. In CA you'd pay $8 for the same thing. PA win.

The first time I went in to get a bag of puppy VeRUS food, I called ahead to see if they even had the small 6 pound bag in store. Not only did they have it, but the guy set it aside for me until I could come in later that day to get it, and was super friendly when I got there. Really good prices and just a really friendly place. And the fact that it is attached to an automotive shop isn't at all as creepy as it sounds. Separate shop and everything.

Continuous meowing at basement door when closed, daily chair assaults, as well as a consistent confusion of both house /family rules, including basic hygiene. She would not communicate as appropriate via the marketplace. I finally called the store and left a message for her as she wasn't in. She returned my call and was very curt & unfriendly. Claimed that she didn't respond because my messages seemed like a scam. I identified myself, I have a Facebook profile that she could easily check. The item she was offering for sale included the ability to make an offer (see their other listings) lower than the asking price, which I did & explained why I did so. She could have just declined the offer politely. But nope, better to ignore. All I can say was that Lauren was rude, unprofessional & unfriendly. Maybe she was having a bad morning, but I don't deserve to be the object of her wrath. Shame on you Lauren. I was just trying to work a deal with you. I wasn't rude or disrespectful. No need to get offended or short with a potential customer. She has since removed the ability to make an offer because I pointed out to her that her listing allowed me to do so. Again all Lauren had to do was politely decline the offer. So sad. Lauren, you need better customer service & communication skills. Please take my advice & get some.
