Nice selection but terrible checkout. Over 75 people waiting for 3 lines to be open. Took over an hour and a half of stading in line. Many customers left items and walked out because checkout was so terrible. Unless u have time to waste dont visit this location. Stop hiring security gaurds and hire cashiers. I'll start with the positives first. They have some good name brands and really good prices...... that's about it. It's not a welcoming store. The "greeter/security guard" doesn't ever even say hello. Why is she standing there? The store is a complete wreck, especially the checkout out! Yikes! We were all in shock standing in line looking at the piles of merchandise all over the floors and the shelves. It's like they've given up. Then there was ONE cashier. Not friendly whatsoever. She gave me an attitude about taking off the tags ( the Burlington ones, not the original tags). She asked " well how am I supposed to know what cost what?" . Every time I go in the stir I say I'll never go back! It's gone from bad to worse lately. From the moment you walk in the door it's uncomfortable and unwelcoming! There is a threatening, 7 ft tall unfriendly guard that has the store blocked off. He has to allow you in the store. The store is a mess and the lines to check out are always so long and slow as they have at most two cashiers. I can't count the times I've left empty handed after seeing the long Lines. The shoe department is also blocked off with a security guard that lets you in. It's just not a fun shopping experience! This store is probably loosing more money having the guards accusing you of stealing ( which happened to me this past week as I brought in a Hobby Lobby purchase and the guard didn't notice it until I left the store. ) I was so embarrassed. Please Burlington change your approach or close this store! What a shame! I'll stick to TJ maxx and Marshall's! read more

In my opinion they are incredibly understaffed. I was here the other day and their was only one cashier. In my opinion their needs to be more cashiers the line makes it to the men's clothes. Took hours to get to the cashier to check me out. read more

Horrible! No organization, tight spaces, junk all over the floor! Absolute horrible experience!!!

I was in this in the University Plaza location this morning and got in line to purchase an item. After 10 minutes of waiting for the one cashier to assist a customer, I asked if she could call another cashier up to help. She politely responded that the only other cashier was assigned to the front door. I waited about another 10 minutes before calling it quits and returning my item to the sales floor. I wasn't the first to leave without making a purchase. I find it odd that a manager doesn't monitor the check out line and jump in if needed. Who schedules one person to actually deal with purchases and returns? I understand that things happen (people call out), but that's even more reason than someone should be monitoring the front line. No wonder employees don't stay if this is how they are treated. I don't find fault with the cashier, but management needs to do better. read more

I used to shop at Burlington while living in Philly and Cinnaminson, NJ. So I always had the idea in my head how my shopping adventure would be from those previous experiences. Awful experience! First of all the women's bathroom was disgusting! One toilet had poop all on the seat, one stall was clogged, and one had a very loose almost coming off toilet seat. The store was disorganized. The dressing rooms were very dusty and had graffiti on the walls. I finally found one pair of jeans I liked. I went to wait in line and there was 25 people in front of me. I put them back on the shelf and called it a day. I will take my business elsewhere. Never going back to that location! read more

Convenient location, right by Boston Market, a Wendy's, and even the Sears outlet. Selection is ok, it's not overflowing like other Burlington Coat Factory Locations, but it appears they are changing the store around. Practically no one there at 2:00pm on a Tuesday and Loss Prevention was right at the front, good deterrent. I went in, found some great looking ties. 7 dollars or less. Bought 4. They did not have a large selection, mostly blue and red ties varieties. The store had "extra long" ties as well, I guess for big and tall people. There's plenty of belts and wallets to go around. It's a good start for the small accessories in office wear. The only negative part of my experience was the cashier. While she was quick to get me out of the line and ringing up the purchase, she seemed unhappy that I did not want to donate to the Leukemia fund or provide my phone number without a reason. After she explained the reason, I gave her my phone number and finished the transaction. The most annoying thing was when I asked about the receipt (she had put it in the bag and I forgot), she asked if I was ok, like, I was acting erratic or planning to shoplift from the store. She had walked away from the register after saying, have a nice day when I asked about the receipt. Ok selection, not-so-great cashier. I don't need the cashier asking me if I was ok after I just paid for ties and was friendly to them. read more

This place is great. When they say coat factory its the coats that are first in this place. They have the best deals for coats and jackets. They also have the best children section with the cutest outfits. The layout is not the best, like I said before, coats are first in this store. Oh, please check out the shoe section. What happen to this day tore in Newark .thus store had great shoes dept Ann's a great selection of cloths I have not been there in a year went the other night in the area. And was so surprised to see what a disastrous place it has been become no show depth. All the cloths were mixed up nothing organized and the whole back of the gray store was blocked off what a mess I do not know how it stays open to bad such a nice store gone bad I hope they fix it up soon never going. This is a great place to shop if you want bargains. You get a lot for your buck. I shop there all the time. The employees are always friendly and courteous. Their rerun policy is great. You can have unopened items for months and they will give you a refund... as long as you have a receipt of course. You can always find something for everyone in the family. They do have great prices in there however the majority of the cashiers are just plain rude. They ignore u the whole time they're ringing you up and they don't even tell you you're total they just stare at you and wait for you to pay.they don't say have a nice day or acknowledge you when u done checking out. My husband went to go pick up our layaway today. When he got there apparently they lost it. We had two coats on layaway for us and because its suppose to be only 13 degrees the next few days we figured we couldn't wait, now we have no coats. The manager refunded the money to my husband and gave him 25% off coupon. I called to speak with the manager and she was EXTREMLY unprofessional and rude. I felt like she was blaming me for her employees mistake. She should feel my frustration and be understanding as to why I'm upset because its suppose to be 13 degrees!!!! Those jackets were the only two I saw in the store. We were not offered to try and locate it at another store nothing. I don't care about the price money wasn't the issue, I'm upset it was lost in the first place and then how the manager LISA reacted. Ill never shop here again and ill be sure to make sure nobody else in my circle does as well! read more
