Blister beetle!!
Victoria M.

On Labor Day, I bought Bermuda horse hay. My usual hay store was closed. I feed my show horse the first flake, and 2 mares each got other flake. My show horse after eating was down, shay Bing, sweating, disoriented -great pain. No time to call for help, I look into his feed box and found flaked blister beetle. The next day once I felt I could take time from walking him, holding this 1200 Quarab near death I call and told them what I found, where do they keep it, etc Kay I've asst mgr went on to explain to me the process of how they get hay. When I kept asking questions. She hung up on me. After she said she'd give me another bale. I had used TSC before but never ever again . Buyer beware

Grabbing the horse stall mats to load 1 into my car.

Hay Plus Farms - Trailer ramp

Hay Plus Farms does trailer repair and maintenance. They did a fantastic job servicing my horse…read moretrailer and they were able to add a ramp to it. Fast, professional, efficient and they do excellent work!

Inconsistent quality, number one has been double and triple thick flakes making it hard to feed…read moreproper without over feeding. Lots of rocks in last few loads. Over feeding cost a lot of money, wasteful and frustrating. Loose baled from the farm, with fat double and triple thick flakes that fall apart when trying to separate flakes to reduce waste, inturn dropping loose thick steamed Alfalfa all over ground, doubling work load having to rake up piles and put in wheel barrel to carry over a few acres to get everyone fed. They don't seem to care and a few of the office staff are rude and treat the loader staff like children calling them "boys" when they are are actually nice young men, working hard giving better customer service than the "customer service cashier" I used to tell people about "hayplus" a couple years ago, not anymore. They must have changed the farmers they used to buy from or someone is placing number 2 in the number 1 barn, where they have stacks of mixed cow hay in the number 1 squeeze. When we spend thousands of dollars on feed we expect better quality when we think we are purchasing number one we expect number one, not dry dusty overgrown, thick steamed Alfalfa with purple flowers, that has little protein nutrition because the farmer waited to long to cut and bale. Quality matters when animals depend on proper nutrition to grow and feed their young, this kind of Alfalfa reduces milk production and the animals are not satisfied, needing additional supplements costing more than it would with quality number one they used to sell. Very disappointing and frustrating to spend so much money on low quality feed.

I will never bring another animal to this business again…read more On July 3rd, our family puppy was brought here for a routine grooming appointment. Shortly after returning home, he began having difficulty breathing and became visibly distressed. We rushed him to an emergency veterinary hospital, where he began vomiting blood and tragically passed shortly after. He was a gentle, sweet, and healthy part of our family -- and this loss has completely shattered us. There were no prior signs of illness before his appointment. The timeline and symptoms have raised serious concerns. He had been groomed many times before with no incident. If your animals are like family, I urge you to use extreme caution. I wouldn't wish this kind of heartbreak on anyone.

We rushed him to the emergency vet, but he tragically passed away. This was a routine grooming visit -- one that should never have led to this. We are devastated beyond words. He was not just a pet. He was part of our family, our emotional support, and our daily joy. We are urging fellow dog parents to be cautious when choosing a pet grooming business in Arizona. Do your research. Read every review. Don't take grooming safety for granted. #DogGrooming #PetSalonAZ #PetLoss #EmergencyVet #ArizonaPetCare #DogParents #GroomingSafety #JusticeForOurBoy
