I'm not sure if there's been an ownership change since some of the original reviews or what, but our experiences have been stellar. What's more, while this place is mostly an English riding shop, but they've been super accommodating and helpful as we acquired gear for Western riding. For example, when we came in looking for helmets, they dropped what they were doing and multiple staffers helped us figure out exactly the right size and test fit the helmets in the store to make sure we made the right purchase. They also gave us tips on which ones were the best value, rather than steering us towards the most expensive. On subsequent visit, we were shopping for paddock style riding boots and they sat us both down and had separate staffers fetch several brands in our respective sizes, letting us try and find which ones suited us best (and also half sizes up/down to get the perfect fit). When I started putting some of the shoes back in the boxes, one of the owners even told me, "You're doing the hard part, let us take care of that," and boxed the shoes back up so I could focus on trying on the other pairs and save time. Talk about fantastic customer service. They went out of their way to make sure we got the perfect fit and exactly what we needed. This shop is well stocked, has a fantastic layout, super friendly and helpful staff and there is never any pressure or up-selling. You can take your time, be left alone or get as much help as you need and always with a smile. We have never been ignored or treated poorly in any way and these days that is particularly rare. This place absolutely deserves your business and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't check them out.

When we arrived we parked right next to Cowboy Co., a which was closed, so we returned to shop the next day. Their boot assortment is impressive... colors and materials from cowhide to alligator to ostrich and capybara. My wonderful wife found herself a couple nice cowgirl shirts that she makes look quite nice, so now we're ready for some line dancing in Cave Creek the next time we visit and also at home! I usually purchase many Allen Edmunds, Keens, Danners and Cats throughout the year. What a complete waste of time for me and the associate working. I'm greeted as I walked in, pleasant guy who asked me what I was coming in for. I explained I have issues getting boots and shoes as I usually wear size 13 EE or EEE depending on make. The associate explained they didnt have those sizes in but a shipment is expected next week. Great, ill be back. So the associate asked if he could scan my feet and get me set up with an account. Sure, I thought, as my sizes were expected in, happy to go through this process. I explained I hadn't had much luck with these kind of scans at The Running Store etc. As my feet are very large and one is injured and I have custom insoles made. So the associate takes down my details and scans my feet. Then says, he's actually got a few sizes in the back if I wouldn't mind trying them on??? Im shocked as he said they didn't have my size so feeling hopeful I sat down. The associate brings out 1 box of shoes. Attempts to get them on and hurts my foot just trying to push my toes into the obviously (by that point) way too small of a shoe. Completely puzzled, I ask what size the shoe was, it was a 10. WTH? So I said Ive had said 13 since I was 18 and I need 13 EE or EEE... he said ill be back. He came back and tried the whole fitting my toes in again, only to find out he brought me a 10.5 so he offered to get me an 11... At this point rather than losing myself I told him this was a waste of both our time and left. And I don't want to buy online if I can avoid it. I was helped, but the help was not very helpful. When looking at expensive appliances, one usually wants the details about performance, capabilities, accessories, maybe some comparisons. I got nothing. And there were very few models on the floor to look at - only two - and none of another maker I was interested in that Mr Vac claims to sell. I felt it was difficult to engage the salesperson and he didn't seem real interested in discussing his merchandise. A request for a business card and/or product information resulted in a pink flyer with glaring typos and a phone number written in Sharpie. I don't need fancy, but I do need competence and engagement, and I felt like I got neither. It's unlikely I'd return to this shop, when I can easily obtain more detailed info on the manufacturers' websites.
