We're almost the only ones here at 6:55 p.m. How long ya going to take to drop my order in my trunk?!
    Jennifer P.

At 6:55pm on a Saturday, Tractor Supply was not exactly a hoppin' place. I'm not sure why, then, it took them 20+ minutes to get me my Online Order. There were only a few customers patronizing Tractor Supply, and they had one employee on carts in a pretty empty lot. I parked in one of the two "Online Order Pickup" spots and followed the steps for "online check-in" via the email confirmation that TSC sent me. When nothing happened after almost 10 minutes (with my trunk open and the employee on carts observing us..), I went through the steps again. When nothing happened a second time, I called their number directly. THAT got the ball rolling... I had my order 5 or so minutes later. The price was right to justify a 35 minute one-way trip; however, the slow service was not. Hopefully they can be more responsive when we try again in the future.

Suprized they had such a wide variety of items, though this was only for rural customers, saved alot for my dogs.

Very limited stock, extremely high prices and terrible customer service. Spend your money elsewhere, don't waste your time here

I have a horse, and do not live near a reasonable tack store, so I went to Tractor Supply and they had exactly what I needed.

I asked the store associate and was told to purchase that item I had to scan the barcode on the display, buy it online, and go up to the service desk. Someone will go unlock the cage and I'll get my item. Piece of cake? Sounds simple right, nope. I did everything the employee told me to place the order, and headed to the service desk to pick up. No issues with placing the order. Immediately, the woman at the desk told me there's a 2 hour wait on online pickups. I explained to her that I'm a person standing in front of her, that came to the store, and not a person shopping online. I WENT online, yes, to order the item, as your associate said I had to per your system. Nobody told me - not the associate or the sign I scanned - that there could be up to a 2 hour wait. How is anybody supposed to know that who's in the STORE purchasing items? I'm not online. If you want to lock things up for security reasons, KEEP TRACK OF THEM. When somebody is buying something in your store, physically, in person, you cannot say they are an online order that has to wait 2 hours. It doesn't help that I have severe anxiety, and was shopping at 6am so I could get off the roads ASAP and get home before morning traffic got bad. I finally got my item after waiting about a half hour for multiple people to check multiple cages, top stock - all kinds of places were checked. This security system has existed my entire 42 year life. You take the paper ticket for the expensive items up to the desk where you wait a couple minutes and they grab it from the secure area. That's the system, simple, been in place since at least the 80s. Why can't you figure it out here in 2026?
