We were here today to rent a Penske truck and also to choose some tile. For the tile, we were simply looking in the tile aisle, and three separate employees stopped and asked if we needed help. Some would find this annoying, but I really appreciated employees checking in, and that there were so many visible employees. Once we had made a choice, we asked one of the three for assistance, and they even walked us up to check out. We also stopped in to pick up a rented Penske truck. We made our reservations online, and everything was ready to go when we arrived. Through the online reservation you can see other equipment rental options, as well as insurance options- so we were all ready to go. They do a $150 deposit, so I suggest using a credit card instead of a debit card- but they even made that suggestion for us before we paid. The truck was ready and warming up as soon as the paperwork was started, and there were no problems when we returned it as well. I definitely recommend this Home Depot location!

One has to remember it is the convenience store of hardware, and the prices reflect that fact. Expect to pay full retail, sometimes plus 50%. With that in mind, I seldom leave there without what I came in for - even if it seems I often take their last one. This is why you pay more here, they really must have a challenge keeping up with the one off items on the shelf. Sometimes I find the staff helpful, especially to find something, but being in the trades for 38 years I really don't expect a kid making minimum to answer... pretty much anything. The older guy that works there had a pretty good knowledge base though. The lunacy during COVID (rushing up to me to mask, said it was "mandated" which at the time was inaccurate - nobody else in the store, invaded my 6' space to be an ass) did not miss this store, which almost made me never come back - but I got over that and am again in the store a couple times a week.

We were looking for shade flowers, finding the selection overwhelming we asked for assistance. A young woman in gardening named Emily (big shot out to her) offered to assist us. Emily, stayed with us the entire time (30 or more minutes) making sure we purchased everything we needed. What Emily didn't know she would run and ask her manager. I hope Home Depot realizes what a great employee Emily is.

The delivery was unpleasant with one guy having a poor attitude about bringing the safe into the entry way which I paid extra for. Once delivered the safe was still left bolted to the pallet the one mover said they do not do that which ok but defeats the purpose of paying extra to bring it into my home. Once we unpacked the safe we noticed a sizable dent and paint peeling on the front so we called to have it picked up and refunded. I called Home Depot customer service and was told I had to contact the manufacturer directly as they don't do returns themselves. So I called the manufacturer directly and was told that Home Depot has to do the return. So I called Home Depot again and they said they can pick up the safe and refund the money. We received the case number and was informed that it would be picked up today from 10am-2pm and no one showed. I called Home Depot a little after 2pm and informed them no one showed to pick up the safe and was offered a $100 refund to keep the damaged safe which costs me $1,500 and some change. I said no obviously. I was put on hold for about 20 minutes and then the the call either disconnected or Home Depot ended the call after giving the gentleman my information I didn't receive a call back or anything This is my third attempt now to get the safe properly removed from my home and refunded. If I could give ZERO stars I would I have been dealing with this for 5 days now and the incompetence is mind blowing. It appears that Home Depot doesn't care about any customer service whatsoever and whoever they use for deliveries is a joke. Sorry for the long winded explanation but I will not be shopping at Home Depot ever again anyone reading this highly advise going to Lowe's at-least there any issues I had were resolved in a professional and timely fashion.

I did research the lumens I would need for good light....too many lumens can look very blue, so I downgraded about 25% for the space. It was perfect. They were also patient as it took a bit for me to decide.
