Overcharged me for the service that never fixed the problem. Lost 80 bucks and 3 hours today.

Just recently my Toyota Prius hybrid battery went bad and it was cheaper for me to have it towed from Greenfield MO than to get it fixed in nearby Springfield, MO.

Josh, Mike and the gang are respectable. . . honest. . . and will do the right thing if they can, they even gave me a ride home when I did not have one. I trust this shop. Can things go wrong? you bet but I trust that if they do these guys will do what they can for you....I wont go anywhere else. customer for life. . . shane.

When going to an aftermarket shop you would expect pricing well below dealership pricing…read more Definitely not the case here. Looks like Telle tire is charging in upwards of $500+/hr. for labor. That's two to three times more than what the dealership charges. So I go in for the good ol State inspection. It won't pass due to an outer tie rod end being loose allegedly. Ok fix it. I get the bill home and look it over after picking up the vehicle. To my findings: The mvi approval slip did not have anything rejected written on it. When an item is rejected it shall be written in the defective area on the mvi form. Then passed when the item has been corrected. That's why there's multiple copies. So did they lie to me as well? Definitely not trustworthy now. There was a 200$ charge for 10 minutes worth of work. The labor guide that I look at (Alldata) only calls for . 4 to r&r an outer tie rod end. 500/hr X .4 = 200. Definitely not my kind of shop. It stinks in there as well. When I go in to a shop I expect to be taken care of and not be GOUGED by pricing of $500+/hr. They are definitely not good enough to charge that kind of money. They kept my 10 minute tie rod job for 24 hours. Shop cleanliness 2/5, value for the money 0/5, hospitality 2/5, length of time to do work 0/5, I will be looking for another shop to handle my fleet. I added proof so stay far away from this shop. Edit: So I go back to the store and confront the manager Josh about price gouging on labor. While trying to belittle me and calling me a keyboard warrior in front of other people. I made sure to let him know that I am the cats meow and the best thing ever since sliced bread was invented. I've forgotten more than these boys will ever know. After all the bickering back in fourth. Josh decided to give me a full refund on all of my tie rod labor. Why? He didn't deny ripping me off. Is he mad that he got busted by someone looking for fair pricing? He also said he doesn't like customers like me. The customer that pays cash (so credit card companies don't make money), the customer that says fix it. He also didn't like the language in my first post. How bout this for verbage. Josh you are a thief and a disgrace to all automotive shops around the world. You have been warned..... Do not try to do business here. They WILL take your shorts and laugh about it all the way to the bank! Episode 3 - How well this work was done - That's right folks. I'm not done picking this shop apart. This weekend we're going to get this vehicle up and see how well the work was done. Episode 3 is a whole other can of worms. After hooking up my alignment machine this is what I found. LF corner is in the red. This must be the reason why they did not include a current alignment print out when work was done. Explains the pull to the left after they aligned it as well. Any good alignment tech can compensate and keep the vehicle from pulling so hard. Also speaking of the tech. He probably doesn't know how to check the front and rear for play before an alignment is done. Let alone a State inspection. And I say that because it still has a loose front end part (LF control arm w/ ball joint). So the alignment that was paid for is a bust. Can't properly align a vehicle with loose parts guys (guess they don't know this). So now I'm wondering if the tie rod was even bad when it was really a BALL JOINT. I looked at the non serviceable junk tie rod end that was installed from Telle. Which brings up another question. Why are you charging shop supplies when you don't use shop supplies (no grease, no cleaners)? Let me guess you charged me almost 40$ for washing your hands and printing an invoice. See where we are going with this? The techs are not worth the paper their checks are printed on. Missed loose suspension parts, bad alignment on loose parts. The manager is a thief with labor price inflation and the tech's can't seem to fix a sandwich. I've seen some bad shops in my time. But this one really takes the cake. As a whole this shop should be avoided at all costs. Just remember the dealership is less $
