Now when they called, they told me they figured out what the problem was, without pulling it into the bay - so they didn't even charge me. Any other place would have charged me even if they didn't pull it into the bay and just took minutes out of their day to look at it. Even though transmission work, isn't their bread and butter, their honesty speaks for itself, as well as not trying to nickel-and-dime. Took in daughters older car for A/C repair, they said it needed a leak check for $150. They found a leak and said $700 would resolve the issue for mainline replacement. A week later it didnt work again, took back in they said another $2K to fix it because it had another leak. Took to another shop to verify and they said it was clear that 2nd leak had been there for a while. Would have NEVER gottten the first repair done if we knew it was $3K.
