You never feel like they are giving you the run around or trying to bait you into work that isn't actually necessary. Several times they've diagnosed one of our older cars (05' Civic & '07 Accord) and actually let us know some of the things we were experience we're worth the cost of replacing. I would think twice before going there. I had an air conditioning unit that would blow cold air then stop, then blow cold air then stop. I took it to TSM and they told me the compressor was bad and that it would be $1300 to fix. I was concerned, but I went ahead and approved the repair. I picked up my car after they had closed and while driving home, the cold air stopped blowing!! The original problem was NOT fixed it would work, then it wouldn't work, just like it had been doing before the $1300 repair. I took my car back the next day and they said there was a circuit that was dirty which was causing the air conditioner to quit, and oh, by the way, the compressor was bad too, so the $1300 was necessary. In the end the TMS auto, the' Elite Ethics Certified' repair shop is nothing more than a parts swapping repair service, that will support their mechanics regardless of the cost to the customers. They diagnosed, repaired and cost me $3000. They knew of a possible further problem with the engine, but failed to discuss this with me. Supposedly test drove drove the vehicle after the repair. I couldn't even drive home without having issues. Called them, told me to shut it off. They came and got the vehicle and towed it back to the shop. Further diagnosis, needs main and rod bearings. Took my daughter's 2005 Vibe in for all manner and means of services. Scott and his staff had every opportunity to "sell" anything and everything. While the total bill was about $850, that included a complete diagnostic, a new battery, a new axel, bearings, and boot, fuel injection cleaning, cleaning the throttle body, and analyzing the fuel system, transmission and power control module. He could have recommended a transmission and torque converter replacement. Instead, he told me it should be good for another 18-24 months and 30,000 miles until we replace the car - and, that if it were his, he wouldn't have the work done. Who does that? After trying unsuccessfully to get my Hyundai Santa Fe into the dealer, I took my vehicle to TMS. Logan was very friendly and responsive to my problem. Although he was short handed that day and couldnt give me a lift back home he called Uber to take me home. My car was fixed and he even advised me my battery was several yrs past the expiration day but no hard push to purchase another one. When I asked about my tires he said they would be good for another season. I had been told by another company two yrs ago they needed replaced then! Glad I didn't listen to that person. My car was having an issue with water getting into my spare tire compartment in my trunk. I called them in the morning and spoke to Scott instantly he came off as a trust worthy person and was willing to get me in that same day. When I showed up to the shop one of his employees(didn't catch his name ) helped me out and he was very nice and knowledgeable. He found the issue and got it all fixed up for me . First time customer and extremely impressed. Called around for estimates a week ago and Scott at TMS was the very knowledgeable on my make and model. Went to their website and could see their staffs credentials, experience, and education which was great reassurance since the tech who worked on my vehicle spent 15 years at a Dodge dealer. Not many repair shops invest in a quality website like theirs but they should. Waiting area was clean, they have a Keurig coffe maker and carafe of coffee next to it. I was also impressed by the recycling bins and then later when reading their commitment to the environment section of the website. Two year/24k mile warranty is phenomenal. Finally took my vehicle in and their professionalism continued to shine. Immediately greeted and assured they'd work my vehicle in that day. Got a call from Scott with the list of repairs needed, some I was expecting and some I wasn't. I explained my situation that I was only hoping to keep the vehicle a couple more months before trading it in, didn't want to invest that much and asked him what he thought was urgent to fix. He gave his suggestions and I still pushed with additional questions about parts and labor prices and when I inquired about a specific parts' price and that I could find it cheaper, he called his part supplier and knocked $50 off. He didn't have to do that and to be honest, if he didn't, I may have taken a cheaper route but instead, took his advice and got the urgent repairs done. Scott did all this while clearly articulating the value it would be to me. I work for a large technology company and our focus is to listen to customers, anticipate their needs, and create value in their eyes. TMS is an awesome shop to have your car worked on. Andrew, the owner and all of the guys are extremely knowledgeable, skilled, professional and very honest. I am a first time customer and they were the only auto shop that quickly found the problem, which was that my main computer needed to be reprogrammed. They repaired it the next day!! And the other shop had my car for (3) weeks and still couldn't find the problem! Andrew was helpful and kind enough to arranged to have my car towed from the shop that already had my car for (3) weeks, to their's on the same day that I called them after I found them online via Google late that afternoon. The tow cost was conveniently added to my bill and was exactly the estimate Andrew thought it would be. And the cost of my car repair was exactly what Andrew said it would be! The quote he gave me over the phone was not a penny more than what he said. He also went above and beyond after the repair and test drove it for a long while to make certain everything was ok and safe for me to drive. Because one of the guys was out sick when it was time for me to pick my car up, they sent their courtesy van which arrived on time and was driven by Andrew's lovey wife, who mentioned during our conversation on the way to the shop in response to me raving about how good they are, that one of the reasons he opened TMS, was because he was tired of seeing women and others get ripped off!! WOW!! While they were working on me truck, they damaged the hood support. No biggie! But, here's what separates them from other shops. They stopped what they were doing, called me to explain what happened with a sincere apology and replaced me hood support at their expense. Name another shop that would be this ethical!!! I was shocked to even be told this by a shop because any other shop would've replaced the hood support while concealing that cost into the labor and charge me for it. This shop doesn't need your business. They want your business and you feel that from the moment verbal contact is made with Scott or Logan. They listen to understand rather than listen to reply. Nothing is done without customer consent. There is no surprises when it's time to pay the bill as they involve the customer in all decisions. I can go on and on with kudos to this company but, I challenge anyone to find a review on this company that is less than 5 stars. You won't.............I tried!! The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, the staff friendly and professional, the technicians all highly skilled; moreover, they know what it is like to work on a budget. For years they kept the older vehicles--mine and those of my 3 kids--running and were a beacon of hope in the oft-challenging world of single parenting. Now an empty-nester and able to afford a newer car, I absolutely put it in their hands from the very first oil change. Whether it's brakes, AC, or major engine repair, they will do only what needs doing, and will spot and let you know about things that might need attention later. Enjoyed going to this place. The guy at the front desk, I believe his name was Caleb, was very nice and dos a great job informing me about what was happening with my car and letting me know what the progress was as I was waiting. In the waiting area they had complementary coffee that was above average, and not overly priced snacks. The service was quick (about 30 minutes for an oil change) and the prices were about $10 less than anywhere else. They found a very minor problem with the shocks of my car. In past experiences, car shops want you to fix it right away and are not slow to tell you how much it costs. Here, however, they were very honest about it and said I would be fine for another 6 months or so and gave me a rough estimate on a price. No pressure to do anything I didn't want to, and I appreciated that. I am planning on taking our second car there as soon as I have a chance, really pleased with this shop, wouldn't go anywhere else in the North Land. read more

Just got a quote from these clowns for parts that were replaced less than a year ago...AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I was advised to come here by a long term business associate and friend . The mechanics and techs were very helpful and kind. My vehicle was just ending warranty and it's a German import . They were professional and honest on repairs, took time to review past service records and drive time in warranty book to advise me correctly and in accordance with manufacturer specification so I did not void the drive train warranty and I appreciate that. I own two cars and the car was not at specified mileage but they pointed out to me it was in the time frame to complete required warranty repairs, very helpful. One required repair was not possible for them to preform, however they took time to look it up and find a certified shop to preform a specific warranty requirement. They even took time to call the other shop to make appointment at the place to complete the service they could not preform that day. I know they saved me money at their shop and the other shop as I called the dealer and priced the services. Andrew was the owner and did work on my car, Scott was manager and very professional in all my contact beginning to end. I felt like a valued customer where my concern for accurate and timely maintained vehicle became their concern with fair, honest prices. This is the first time I've ever not used a non dealer to preform the off warranty repair. I will continue to use the shop. If they cannot repair they tell you and advise you to either use the dealer or in my experience locate a certified shop to complete warranty repair.
