This is a small place. They have a bigger location. It does have some inventory, but I was not sure if anyone was working. No one ever came out to greet, nor was there a cashier. I was there for quite some time and never saw anyone. It is a small shop, so I figured they were doing other things. The items are limited (no kamen rider or super sentai items). It had plenty of model kits, and the tools actually have notes made by the store to show what the item is good for. Overall, it's a nice small store. If a model kit, cards or a figure doesn't have a price tag, you can ask for help to find out how much an item costs. This shop in Concord had very rare and hard to obtain set of packs of a series I'm extremely fond of. I was shocked that an eBay shop, let alone one that's relatively an hour away from where I'm at had these almost 10-year old set of Japanese packs in stock (not that I'm complaining!). Had to make my way and grab these as even Yahoo Japan Auctions don't have any listings of these packs on their platform. Glad to say that I pulled big. If Gundam/Gunpla, anime, otaku stuff etc. is your thing THIS IS THE PLACE that you need to go to period, been living in the bay area for around 15 years and I've been going to Costco also which is beside the place for around 10 years also, I've always looked for a place dedicated to this kind of stuff, I've been building gundam model kits since I was 15 years old or something, I am not that hardcore into building but I've always enjoyed building the kits on the gundam models that I grew up with, with the likes of Gundam Wing & Gundam G, all things said if you are into Gundam/Gunpla, anime & otaku stuff, you should go here the owner is nice and will help you if you ever have any questions, I am very happy that I found this place, more power to you guys! read more

CALL IN ADVANCE. This vendor travels to many conventions throughout the country and there just may be the chance that they are out on a certain day. It also helps to look at what is available on their online site before your visit because the front room area only has a fraction of the merchandise that they have available. My only reservation about this place was that there was something that I was eyeing online for quite some time (listed that it was still available), but when I inquired the gentleman working there about it, he immediately said that they were sold out without going back to check the inventory. I really love the selection they have... I am just so broke. Guy at the front greeted us nicely. They also have fun mystery bundles. So much cute cat girl figures and HUGE selection of miku merch from figures, plushes, vocaloid pins. There is two locations! A small one and a bigger one which has the wider selection, but both were great Pricing might be fair in most cases especially for more extravagant figures. I found coconut from Neko Para (i do not actively play the games, i just think the characters r cute), and they had quite a few of them. I have had trouble finding this figure, and was disappointed with price as I bought my vanilla for maybe $40 ish, and here. the neko para figures was more like $50 ish. My demand for Coco is high, but there was so many there I assume hasnt sold as fast (there was only one vanilla, no chocola except for their fancier figures). Consider price adjustment to have high turn out for merchandise (sorry if i sound dumb) .-. read more

A place to spend money on my nerdiness. Woohoo! Ok. So this little gem is hidden deep in concord right behind the Costco. I drove right past it at first. (Was going to take a picture of the outside but it was pouring rain.) Walking inside was pretty surprising. They had a hefty amount of figures. A great selection of gundam model kits. A crazy selection of little keychains. And much much more. Spoke to a gentleman who I believe was the owner and they had even more stuff in the back that you could purchase. (Paint for the gundams, real specific stuff that would prolly just take up space in their small shop.) You can order online through their website which is also amazing. Prices are GREAT. No huge inflation of prices for their products. Was able to find the kit we were looking for and at an AMAZING price. Will definitely be back here! read more

This is a cool store. The main shopping area is kind of small, it's more of a warehouse than a store. They have a pretty big selection though so I usually just look at the website before making a trip there. If you like nesoberi plushies this is probably the best place in the Bay Area to buy one in person. Very helpful and friendly sales staff too! read more

Just... a very weird and uncomfortable atmosphere. When I walked into the store, it felt like a jail cell - just really bad energy. The whole store was probably 5 x 12 feet. There was only 1 staff worker, and they didn't welcome me into the store when I walked in or ask if i was looking for anything in particular. Everything was extremely overpriced. You're way better off going to a garage sale. The woman didn't even say a word to me while I was inside. read more

Just moved to the Bay Area and was looking for a local Hobby/Anime shop, came across ToysLogic on my hunt. Decided to stop by on my way from work to check it out, and was extremely impressed by the level of customer service and help I received. They have a great variety of products/brands/styles of figures! I popped in not expecting to find anything, thankfully I was wrong. The front desk lady was extremely kind and professional, helped me look for exactly what I was interested in! The gentleman in the back brought out quite a few figures by the brands/styles I was looking for, he was more than helpful and appreciated the insight into the hobby, since I'm still new to figure collecting! Toyslogic is located deep inside concord, right behind costco and is more of a warehouse than an actual store but nonetheless i was happy with their service and item that i pre-ordered. The best thing about this place is that it's literally down the street from where i live so no more trips to san francisco to get my anime collectables. Really satisfied with their service and helpfulness in looking for specific items. Will definitely return to this place to pick up some more goodies and please, if you guys down in toylogic are reading this review, hook me up with some DBZ sh figuarts, i need that piccolo!!! read more

Reliable vendor for Gloomy Bears and other Japanese toys. They go to most of the anime cons in the area and price is right around average but their selection is above average. Also if something sits on the shelf long enough, they'll reduce it. Be careful with tax because sometimes sometimes when you're hooked into a sale, they might raise their price a flat 10% citing tax--although this is common practice at con vendors it still annoys me. (although by this point, tax pretty much is 10% so whatever.) Their store is open to the public, which is cool. read more
