On a Friday afternoon I decided to check out Delta R/C, which on a good day is a 35-40 min drive from Oakland. Expectations were not high as their website seemed outdated, didn't list current info about events, and they had no online storefront. However, I was more than shocked by what I saw when I arrived: Largest brick/mortar store I have found, extensive parts department, indoor track and micro crawler course onsite (more race courses across street at fairgrounds). Staff was friendly, esp. Kristin at the front register. Also, found out about some events next day that I attended (just wish it was on website). I think Delta will become my 'home hobbyshop' but just wish they had an online store so I could peruse their inventory before making the 40+ min drive.

I've been wanting to buy some for my friends for Christmas but they're pretty pricey online when taking shipping into account. This shop has the same stickers I had my eyes on anyway plus more and I don't have to pay for shipping. Hoorah. The store is fairly large and stock all imaginable cards there is. With a quick Google search, I wish I had kept my White Winnie deck, mostly Revised edition.
