On a Friday afternoon I decided to check out Delta R/C, which on a good day is a 35-40 min drive from Oakland. Expectations were not high as their website seemed outdated, didn't list current info about events, and they had no online storefront. However, I was more than shocked by what I saw when I arrived: Largest brick/mortar store I have found, extensive parts department, indoor track and micro crawler course onsite (more race courses across street at fairgrounds). Staff was friendly, esp. Kristin at the front register. Also, found out about some events next day that I attended (just wish it was on website). I think Delta will become my 'home hobbyshop' but just wish they had an online store so I could peruse their inventory before making the 40+ min drive.

Good selection on parts and models. Pretty good service,…read morestaff is knowledgeable & helpful. Prices are in sync with online ordering (great!). So why the 3 star review? Well I've spent over $1k in this shop over the past month because I want to support a local business (not many hobby/RC shops around anymore). Today, I wanted to return a $31 LiFe hump pack as I decided to go with a 2S LiPo pack for HV servos. The battery was open box, but never charged, never used, essentially brand new except for the tape seal having been cut. The act of opening the box breaks their return policy and my request was rejected. No one told me about this detail in their return policy during my conversations with the parts counter employees or at the register. Needless to say, I'm disappointed enough to write a review. Be cautious with your purchases here.

I was there for quite some time and never saw anyone. It is a small shop, so I figured they were doing other things. The items are limited (no kamen rider or super sentai items). Shout out to Trade Emporium for being the largest hobby/game store in California and second largest…read morein the entire country! Trade Emporium stocks and pre-orders Trading Card Games, Miniature Games, Roleplay Games and Board Games including Beyblades. They also have 3D printers so they have 3D items for sell, or you can reach out to bring in your own files for printing. You can't come in and not find something you like. My spouse and I have already visited Trade Emporium multiple times already during their soft and grand opening. Great group of staff and Chris, the owner, is absolutely amazing. They create a warm welcoming environment and and setting themselves up to be a pillar of the local and gaming community. Trade Emporium has only been open for a few weeks so far and are still been in the process of getting things into place but this place is massive. They are able to hold multiple tournaments simultaneously based on the size. When you first walk in, it's more of the shop selling items but go behind the first wall and you will be greetes with a huge gaming space. Trade Emporium has weekly TCG tournaments and even monthly Beyblade tournaments. The TCGs I remember them having are Magic the Gathering, One Piece, Pokémon, Lorcana, Digimon and Gundam; There may be even more that I am forgetting. I am more of a board gamer personally and am pleased with their selection of games and expansions they had available. They have a discord to keep up with their events and sales so I recommend joining that if you want to be kept in the loop. They may also be in the works of setting up their Instagram page as an alternative. Overall, Trade Emporium is 100% worth the visit and I look forward to visiting often!

As soon as we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised to see that all the Christmas merchandise was already out -- and even better, most of it was marked 50% off. It instantly put us in the holiday spirit. The selection was impressive. There were so many different types of Christmas decorations to choose from, and the store was organized beautifully. Each aisle had its own color theme, which made browsing incredibly easy and enjoyable. Whether you wanted traditional red and green, something more modern, or fun themed items, everything was laid out in a way that helped you find exactly what you were looking for.

This review is for Rose, the cashier that helped me right now. She deserves all the 5 stars!…read more I had this beautiful wall decor (which is 50% off right now) but the prices were different for the same exact items. One was marked $29.99 and the other was $34.99 granted the colors was slightly off, but it had the SAME item number and looked identical. (Just like a TikTok video I seen how this girl showed different prices were hidden behind the front ones which was more expensive). Anyways, I asked her if I could get the darker color for the same price as the lighter one which was $29.99 and Rose looked at the item number and called a manager, Tamara came over and she didnt even bother to check on the tablet for the current price of the item. She just said no. Then I pulled up the item on hobby lobby website and there it is, $29.99 half off is $14 so I went back to Rose and showed her. She called Tamara over again and explained to her. Then Tamara came over and told me she would do it for me this time because online prices are cheaper since it costs shipping and handling? I guess? But regardless it's 50% off right now and the online price matched the store price. It just seemed like Tamara didnt want to deal with me from the beginning. I appreciate Rose for helping me out because this item was the reason why I came in. I've been waiting for it to be on sale.
