The bloody Mary's were very good! The Nashville chicken was different than expected and I thought could have had more sauce so I asked for more sauce and they charged me 50 cents for a small side. I must say I hate restaurants that nickel and dime you especially when they're a nicer restaurant. Updated review : The owner kindly reached out and notified me that charging extra for sauce is not their policy and told me to come back in for another try! I gratefully accepted and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and prompt and the managers Alex, Matt and Eric were awesome! Thanks Township, will be back many more times! Update : Apparently they DO charge for sauce and charged us $5 for a few ranches. I was charged again and when i mentioned how i didn't think that was their policy, the server said who told you that. I told them Matt and they said oh Matt was fried.....In addition, he told us we couldn't use our gift card all at once which is weird because the last server we had said we could. First of all i spent a ridiculous amount of money for the "perfect week" to earn this gift card and I think the management should really make sure all of their servers are on the same page because I keep getting treated a different way every time I come here! Not professional and not coming back after this experience.

All my classmates told me to try out Township for the pretzels and beer cocktails. I brushed it off for a while, but there's limited options near FSU so eventually I made my way there. I understand why FSU's upperclassmen are obsessed with Township now - the drinks are amazing and very strong. All the beer cocktails and regular cocktails I've tried there are amazing and can't go wrong with any of them. The pretzels are great too and I love dipping it in the cheese sauce and mustard. Since I've been to Township quite often, I have had the chance to try their menu items. My favorite is the pretzel crusted pork chop - it's like an elevated shake-n-bake with a fried egg on top. All their dishes are the perfect accompaniment to a beer.

SO SO FUN!!!! Best Gameday atmosphere!!! Also drinks are good! We did their $30 not-so-solo cup on Saturday and it was super yummy actually just HUGE but surprisingly we finished it after like 4 hours of being there....

This review has been Looooong overdue. So for Starters I DJ here every Saturday so I've had almost everything on the menu. It's all amazing (the fried pickles could stand to be better) but everything else is amazing, I've had brunch, salads, sandwiches, burgers (technically a sandwich), chicken, steak, you name it. Township DOES NOT disappoint. Put me in record saying the Township (a Bar) has one of the BEST steaks in Tallahassee. Everything is so flavorful. They used to do Taco of the month, now they do burger of the month and they do French Toast of the month. They are know to have high quality brews and a super fun energetic bar staff, but the food is again, AMAZING. A must visit!

The good people who created Madison Social, Centrale, and all of their other restaurants/bars throughout FL and NY have done it again. I was very impressed with the speed that Township was built and how nice it looks. The building is huge in comparison to Madison Social and doesn't let you feel claustrophobic at all. We came last night to meet a couple of friends and to scope out the building and I was impressed. Although it was incredibly packed because it is new, it didn't seem like they were at capacity. The crowd that was there was more college kid oriented and I was kind of surprised not to see as many adults there. I have a feeling it will fluctuate on certain days. Now lets talk about the most important thing... the beer! They have over 80 beers on tap and you will never be able to try them all. They also have three sizes. Third, Half, and Full size Steins. If you didn't think you could drink a liter of beer, think again. After having 2 I was definitely feeling it and having a good time. The prices were decent and everything was clean. As for the food, I didn't get to try it so I can't review it (not yet!) I'll definitely be back and will update my review as I see more going on.

    Gluten free options at Township!
    Bridget J.

They have tons of drink options, including some gluten free ones such and ciders and some mixed drinks. I've only ever had their drinks for brunch and trust me I was not disappointed when my mimosa was brought out in a stein. They also do dueling piano nights every once in a while that brings in a crowd. Be sure to get there early if you want to grab a seat close to the pianos which I highly recommend. The staff are always nice. The bartenders are always ready to give you drink suggestions and having it right next to the stadium is perfect for game days. Plus it's a good representation of some of the food scene in Tallahassee since they team up with a few of the other college town restaurants to hold events and bar crawls. Update: I was informed by the business owner that they do in fact have many gluten free options! I will be updating my post after trying them but here they are listed for any one who is interested!

R&R at Hotel Indigo in Tallahassee, FL…read more Stayed a couple nights at Hotel Indigo on a work trip and naturally ended up at R&R more than once because: location, location, location. Easy access plus a bar meant repeat visits. Let's start with the GOODS the drinks! I stopped in to the bar multiple times and the cocktails are where they shined for me. Ryan the bartender - WOW next level. Superb! Knows his stuff, and made every drink a hit for me. My top pick? The Juju, hands down my favorite. But I also got a sneak peek of a new drink coming to their seasonal menu called the Lily Pad, and OMG mmmmmm. So good. Bright, refreshing, well-balanced. Totally check out my photos for that one. Now... about breakfast. It's a No for me. Enough. I had the Nashville Honey Chicken Biscuits and they are a FAIL, a No. Dry, sad, biscuits with fried frozen chicken nugget in it and not worth $16. It's an embarrassment to the establishment. The Cortado, also a miss!... but it was coffee and I needed to get going to work. R&R, please rethink breakfast: 100% did not meet the price point. Skip breakfast or walk across the street, there's a bagel shop. The hotel indigo is really cute and I'll probably write a review about that on a separate, the place is overall cute, but there's very limited food places around the hotel. So in conclusion, I will give you an extra star for the convenience and the bar. After my experience for breakfast, I did not care to come here for food at all anymore. Expensive cheap food. Just because they're helped by a great bar and a beautiful hotel and a great location..

I forget our waitresses name. The items are reasonably priced and cooked fresh with love. I had the trout and enjoyed everything about it. I will say I had the last trout of the evening. They were running low on a few of the entree items, but it was two hours til closing time. My friend had the pesto pasta and she said she wishes she'd had more pesto sauce and highly recommended adding a protein to it. Since it's connected to a hotel the vibe is pretty cool. I hear breakfast is good and plan to return for it soon.

Otherwise have at the several choices that may appeal to your taste. I doubt that you won't like it. The location is a converted mini market. I am remembering that the first restaurant conversion was a classic diner that was good for breakfast but Kool Beanz has been here for a long time and thriving. Some of the best seats in the house can actually be on a stool at the counter watching the chefs ply their trade. There's an additional large dining room at the end of the building and they have created a nice outdoor space as well. What may be hard to come by when they are busy is a parking space. And its 4.4-star rating out of 600+ via Uber Eats was the assurance I needed that I would have a quality experience. Looking through the menu of Harry's, I took interest in and ended up ordering their fried grouper sandwich with Harry's collard greens, and a key lime pie, which both were items I had an interest in trying while visiting the city of Tallahassee. Whether it be Grubhub or now Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it is convenient. Much praise to the Uber Eats delivery driver, Dezi, for arriving with my order at a reasonable time, as well as meeting me in front of the hotel. And Dezi also confirmed that it was me grabbing the order, which I cannot thank her so much for. Once I retrieved my order, it was so hard to not smell it inside of the elevator while heading up to my hotel room. First, I want to say that I was satisfied with the presentation of what I ordered. However, I was not satisfied with the way it was placed inside of the bag, which led to the collard greens leaking slightly, and the cream of the lime pie being splattered around the container. Now my mouth salivated prior to taking my first bite of the grouper sandwich, which appeared big! It could have easily turned into the only meal I ate for the evening and I was not complaining about that. It tasted just as good as it appeared with the addition of tartar sauce which I put a whole glob of it on, tehehe. The grouper sandwich made me forget about the way my food was placed inside of the bag. After letting the grouper sandwich settle off my taste buds, I went for the collard greens, which I enjoyed outside of picking out the chunks of meat! There was a point while eating the collard greens, I said to myself "This is good!". If you love collard greens as much as I do, then I recommend Harry's collard greens, but keep in mind that it has meat chunks inside of it. Now, I saved the best for last, which was the key lime pie! Mm... It was basically a cheesecake in the form of lime pie! And oh my was it tasty! I would be lying if I said that I left some crumbs behind because it sure was satisfying. Okay, Harry's you have won over this traveler from the Midwest. Being that I had a great ordering experience, I would surely order from Harry's Seafood Bar and Grille again whether it be Uber Eats delivery or takeout whenever visiting the city of Tallahassee. Here is where we go for that special occasion. Tonight Carson was our waiter and he has years working here for Drew (Alas absent tonight), Savour's owner. Carson knew the menu cold along with favorite recommendations. Drinks were excellent and they have a great wine list (although the "by the glass" list was pretty short). We elected to split the Wedge salad (trust me it's more than enough for a $3 up charge) and had the Whipped Feta Cheese with Pita to go with the salads. Charcuterie board was not on the menu tonight. Since Christmas is around the corner and a Prime Rib looms, we elected to forgo steaks. Carson described the Scallops and the description matched the dish exactly. Four big scallops with a great sauce mounded on a bed of fresh corn and (sorry I didn't see what else was there). I had the fresh fish (blackened Flounder) in a New Orleans spicy sauce and rice (I'm not doing this justice). Carson advised this was spicy and it was. It was out of this world. A home run by the Chef (please come out some evenings and say hi - and take a bow). Dessert was a Lava cake with ice cream, one of 4 desserts offered tonight. Trust me, if you like gooey chocolate (like having a chocolate soufflé), this was the keeper. Service was impeccable. We missed Drew welcoming his guests but his team has been there a long time and were quick seating us. Carson was everything you could ask for in a waiter. Fully knowledgeable about the food (he started in the kitchen years ago), checked back often, staged the timing perfectly (how rare is that!) and we are sure to ask for him again. A great evening and the rain had stopped by the time we were leaving. Of course we will be back.
