Ricky and the crew at Bridgeport TFT (Main St. location) were absolutely wonderful! Lately, no matter who I deal with or where I go, customer service has been in the toilet. Ricky was extremely helpful and gave me a great deal with a price match. I love how the garage is live streamed into the waiting room, so you can rest assured that you will get what you pay for. Ricky's customer service exceeded my expectations and I left a very happy customer. Thanks so much!! Side note: Lexus of Westport offered to give me one "free" tire if I bought 3 because their refusal to check my alignment during a year's worth of complaints, caused all my Michelin's to wear unevenly into the ground. Their price? $1250 including the "free" tire. My price at TFT for same exact tires and paying for all 4: $835! read more

DEFCON 1 AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They "aligned" our car and replaced the two rear tires, and the alignment was so abysmal, the car was incredibly sketchy to drive and completely wore down the two rear tires in the span of less than two months resulting in one going flat and the other being on the threads. NEVER GO HERE! read more

Will never he back. My tire was flat and i quickly drove to town fair. They say they close at 6, but I got there at before 5:30 and they shut the lights on me as i was at the door. Thanks for the help town fair. I had to drive to the nearest quick lube place , by that time my tire was almost completely on the rim. You guys could have helped me big but instead your lazy employees failed miserably. This is America. read more

I recently had my car's tires changed at this shop, and shortly afterward a new warning sign appeared on my dashboard that was not there before the service. They asked me to change the sensors which I did but the sign was still showing. I went to them continuously for 4 days where they would turn the light off but within 20 miles, it would turn on again. Afterwards, I was sent to a new dealer and they were asking 200$ for only checking. As an uber driver who's dependent on his car, I haven't been able to go out at all. All I want to say is that I am disappointed with their service. read more

Quick service. Needed a new tire put on a wheel for a seperate car. I decided to wait in my car until it was finished. The man came to my car with the wheel and placed it in the truck for me. Great customer service. read more

they are not upfront about how much money things cost and at the end of the visit they upped the prices.

Do not trust this place. They promised to fix a flat and then tried to get me to buy a new tire when I did not need one. I took the wheel off my car and brought it in to get a flat fixed. There was a temporary plug in the tread (repairable) area of the tire. The tire had plenty of life left in it to justify a repair and not getting it replaced. The person who took the wheel/tire in inspected it and said it could be patched (from the inside). He commented that the tread was still good and worth saving the tire. Less than an hour later I got a call from the shop that my tire was "unrepairable" and they wanted to sell me a new tire. When I went back to pick it up, the tire had never been removed from the wheel to attempt a repair and the manager who made the decision to not fix it and try and sell me a new tire was nowhere to be found. I immediately took the wheel/tire to another local shop where the service tech removed the tire and replaced the temporary plug with a patch from the inside of the tire. I've driven over 100 miles since the tire repair and no leak. It seems that Town Fair Tire (or at least this location in Bridgeport) is in the business of pushing new tires on customers when they do not need new tires. Buyer beware! read more

Been buying tires from Town Fair for the past 30 years. Had a 11:30 appointment (made a day in advance)to repair a flat pull the spare and reinstall the repaired tire. 12:45 I noticed my truck on the monitor on the lift with the spare still on the vehicle. 5 to 6 techs standing idle, talking and joking. I went to the counter and asked how much longer and was rudely told it a hour and a half job. Got my vehicle back 2 hour later with a dirty paper mat, used disposable gloves on the console and my spare not placed in its storage location. I will never step foot in a Town Fair again. read more

A few days ago my boyfriend & I bring our car in because we had a nail in one of our tires. well they came out, did an inspection & passed the tire for everything but spited the small nail. Brought our car to the back & within 15 mins the manager called my boyfriend up telling him that there now is a lump in the tire but he's claiming it was already there. (it wasn't, these were brand new tires). We ended up leaving & as were in the parking lot the man who actually did the work on the tire admitted that he caused the lump, because it wasn't avoidable. I then call the corporate number to complain because the manager is still saying it was already there even with the employee admitting. Well, i got offered a 50% off tire. Which can't complain too much, it's something but why do I have to pay for someone else's mistake? The manager is very rude, & unprofessional. read more

They always do a fantastic job here, whether you want to look into snow tires or a set of new tires, they have a great selection of brands and price points and will work with you to not only keep your car safe but not pay an arm and a leg. However one of the best parts of their service is if you do have some type of issue, they are always there to help. I got a flat tire and they were there to help patch it and get me back on the road asap for next to no cost. Great staff read more

If I could give this no stars, I would...my daughter had a slow leak in her tire last week, she brought it there and they refused to look for a nail, just said she needs a new tire (for 300 dollars) because her tire was bald and they won't repair a bald tire. Her car is new with very little miles so that was absolutely not true and I knew it. I got on the phone with him and said why won't you at least look to see if there is a nail? He said if he puts it on the lift "it would be a liability" I kid you not...I said it's a liability to look for a nail in a tire???? You're a tire place!!!!! I told her to leave. A week later we went to Subaru in Milford...guess what, a nail in her tire, tire not even remotely bald, they fixed it washed the car, and no charge! Shame on you Town Faire for trying to rip off a college student! read more

I went to town fair tire on July 2 of 2022 and I bought two new tires each cost $98 plus the taxes the labor and the tire rotation it'll cost about $370. Fast forward to September there is a bubble on the side of the tire and because I did not pay $15 for the insurance and the 30 days had lapsed town fair tire did not stand behind your product and replaced my tire I did not go over a pothole I did not have an accident the bubble just appeared . So you mean to tell me you sell defective merchandise when a customer comes through the door and does not purchase insurance? because I didn't buy insurance you can't help me and you send me away or try to get me to spend another $122 on a brand new tire. With Covid and the economy the way it is town fair tire should have a little bit more consideration for their cash paying or just paying customers. And they should have extended me the courtesy of a new tire I now have to take the chance of transporting my kids in this car with a bubble in the tire because Telfair tire could not stand behind their product.. thirty days is not sufficient time on a warranty 3 to 6 months should be the appropriate time lapse. Town fair tire needs to contact me Cece and replace the tire for a non defective one.. 203-479-2244 read more

This is as fine a place as any to get any tire service done. The lines can be an issue, but the staff is professional and courteous, and they always call back when your job is done (why is this a rarity in the car repair industry?). Their prices always seem cheaper than any unholy amalgam of TireRack-plus-the-guy-who-installs (or any local competitor), and they'll order something not in stock. I'm lucky to have them almost literally around the corner, though I'd drive to the next closest one (on a donut spare, of course) of it went away. read more

Updated. I am satisfied with the follow up by Andres who was very helpful and understanding. Did a rescan and explained next steps as necessary. Went in when my tpms sensor kept coming on even though my tire pressures were within recommended range. They suggested replacing all the tmps sensors... in the week following, the low pressure warning would still come on so i took it back and they said they would inflate the tire and to drive it. After a few more days with the warning still coming in, i went back and they said, it is a computer program and to take it to the dealer. Wow. Never going back there. read more

Hi everyone, well its been about 4 weeks since my last writing review about my blown air shocks that happened at town fair tire in Bridgeport, ct on main street. After I wrote my story about what happened to my car the district manager called my wife, and spoke to her and he was very helpful and nice, that's what my wife said. I didn't speak to him due to I was still angry about what happened and when u are angry have someone else do the talking that's calm, So Town fair did reimburse me for half the price of the shocks which I feel was fair, they did a good thing for customer service. I have been going to Town fair for many years and everyone has a off day like they did, but they took responsibility for the mistake and own up to it, that's all customers want, be up front and truthfully and in the long run it will pay off. I was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of the staff. There was a little wait and the attendant, who happened to be the manager, Andres, gave us eye contact and apologized for the delay. As soon as he was finished with his customer, he approached us with a friendly smile and apologized again for the wait. He assessed our tire needs and gave us a few different options. He was courteous, professional and sensitive to our financial circumstances. We appreciated his efforts. He even drove us home while our car was serviced so we would not have to wait an hour and a half! Now that's amazing customer service! Needless to say we will be back. I unfortunately needed to make an emergency stop to get new tires for the upcoming winter season. Was this an expense that I needed at the time? Not really. However, the service and care of the staff and their willingness to help a person on a budget was more than I could've asked for. While searching through the huge selection of tires, Jon was an amazing help explaining the quality and pricing of each brand of tire (given the fact I know nothing about tires). While finalizing my transaction, I was mortified to stand by and watch a customer make a complete fool of herself while also demeaning an employee, Justin, who was trying to help her. However, no matter how rude this vile woman was, he answered all of her questions in a professional manner. It's in these unglamorous moments that shows the integrity of these employees and their goal to provide excellent service. I'm definitely coming back! =) read more

Came in for what appeared to be a slow leak. Had the tire replaced however was informed that the TPMS sensor also had to be replaced, but that they didnt have the part. The manager, Andres, told me "You're better off going to the dealership to have them do it". Why was a regular valve stem put in and the tire changed when it was clear additional service was needed? Long story short I bought the sensor and returned only to be told, "Like I told you theres no guarantee we can program it and we are going to charge you for re-balancing". I spent $130.00 on a new tire earlier in the day and now have to pay an additional fee when you didn't have the parts in stock? I've been here before and many of the employees are pleasant, but I will not return after today's visit and will take my business elsewhere. read more

Thank goodness for Town Fair Tire! I hit a pot hole coming off the highway on Monday and needed a new tire. I purchased a new rear right tire. I had to return today because my car felt unsteady. Little did I know I need a tire rotation and another new rear left tire as well. Ricky D who worked at the front desk listened to all of my needs and concerns. He didn't pressure me into purchasing anything un-needed. The manager who was working in the back explained I had two bent rims and he rotated them to the best of his ability. All of the staff on shift were respectful even though there was a line out of the door because it was the first snow fall of the season. I would purchase tires from this location before any other. I left and went to work while the job was done. I was called when it was finished and was reassured that I didn't have to rush to pick up the vehicle until they closed.
